"Okay, that's everyone." Thanks to Leo's upgrade, I didn't have to write anything down.

All Residents were automatically added to the logbook using the newly upgraded system.

Not only that, their information, skills, and levels were recorded in the logbook.

It was helpful for future plans.

And I know now that there might be chances of wars, an army was crucial for my nation.

Somehow, I knew it was going to come to that. I never wanted to go to war, but after seeing how monsters are treated, I knew that I was being naive.

"Yes, it seems that I have no choice," I admit out loud.

Leo, Big, Gong, the two goblins, and the Arachne were the only monsters capable of fighting, Runt can only use basic buffs.

At this moment, I'm glad the Architect dwarves focused on building the training grounds. Only problem was that Leo needed skills to make him the perfect Captain.

In order to get these skills, he needs to earn them by doing things only a Captain Guard would do.

As the leader I should send him on a mission to help him gain those skills, right?

God sent him down here, does the same concept apply to Leo in the first place?

I guess I won't know until after the fact.

I closed my logbook and exited my hut to take a look around me.

Thanks to the dwarves' amazing speed all buildings were finished.

They even went ahead and built Watchtowers on both sides of the entrance. I have to hand it to them, those dwarves are impressive.

I slithered down the stairs that led to the bottom of the mountain and made my way to the training area where I'm certain Leo is.

Down the path made by the dwarves, I passed by a few empty huts and came upon the training area where I was witnessing Leo and Big training together.

Leo held a wooden sword and Big used his defense skills to block Leo's attacks.

I stood and watched for a while before clearing my throat, both had been focused on the training that they hadn't noticed me.

It took Leo, who lost his sword after Big made a tail sweep, to notice I was there watching.

"Master, what brings you to the training area? You here to train?" Leo asked coming up to me.

"Not at this moment. Actually, I have a mission for you, Big, Runt, and Nala." I told him.

"Is it another recruit mission?" Big asked slithering over.

"Not this time, I need you guys to protect the dwarves on a mining excavation," I told them.

I explained that we need to find ore that will be used to craft various items and weapons.

I'm sure the Mining Dwarves are itching to find a perfect mining spot.

"So Leo, can you see if there are any mines nearby?" I asked.

Leo still had his administrator skills granted by God, which includes map generating.

"Right away, Master!" Leo exclaims.

A map projector was generated between us showing the map of the area around us.

"Generating locations for nearby mines," Leo states.

A few minutes later three dots in different directions appeared on the map.

"The closest one to us is going North for about 200 kilometers. That's closer than I expected. The other two are about six to seven hundred kilometers from here." I muttered while looking at the map.

"It looks like that's the one we'll go to," Leo says.

Big and I agreed.

Later we left the training area to meet up with the mining dwarves.

We found them hanging around the Blacksmith Dwarves who were hanging around the Blacksmith's Den.

When they saw us they stood immediately and kneeled immediately, I'm not sure when they started this and it's not just them.

Despite telling everyone they didn't have to greet me this way, they never listened, so I gave up on it.

"You may rise," I tell the dwarves.

"It's a pleasure to meet the leader here at the Blacksmith's Den, is there anything we can do for you?" Ned asked.

He was the Main Blacksmith among the two blacksmith dwarves. His rank was B Rank, I got lucky with him.

"Actually, I'm here for the four mining dwarves. I want to send them on a mission to collect ore." I explained.

Clover, Phelp, Red, and Yuno stepped forward, "we would be honored to go on this mission for the leader!" Yuno expressed enthusiastically.

He was the head of the mining dwarves at C Rank.

"I'm glad to hear it. With Leo, Big, Runt, and Nala as your guards, the mission should go well for you guys." I turned to Leo, "this is a mission to help you gain skills as a Gaurd Captain." I pointed out.

It was also a chance for me to learn if he could gain new skills like the rest of us. I already know he can level up, but I now want him to gain leadership and swordsmanship skills.

I hope things go well.

"Meet up with the other two going on this mission with you, Leo has a map to the closest mines already so you're not going in blind this time," I tell them.

I need resources that will be the start of my army. After making items and resources I will have Leo search for mana dungeons that could help me and Runt discover new magic spells.

Since today is a new day, the mission can get started right away.

I met up with the group at the entrance where they were preparing the horses and wagon for inventory.

Even though dwarves had their personal inventory for mining usage, it was limited space, so the wagon was needed for this mission.

"We're leaving, Master," Leo says.

I nod, "if you run into any danger that is hard to handle please do not be afraid to run away." I told them.

"Yes, Master," Leo answers while the others were getting into the back of the wagon.

"If possible, please communicate via thoughts," I told Leo.

Communication through thoughts was possible for him, but it cost him mana now that he had a physical body.

"I will do my best, we will leave now, Leader." Leo snaps the reigns and he and the group were gone before I knew it.

I wonder what type of mine they will discover.
