Chapter 7: Part 7 – A Major Headache

Sof-ia’s POV:

‘kvgjcfxyrufyvh’

A thought entered her mind as she started to have her consciousness stirred. A pounding pain entered her forehead and as she opened her eyes, she saw a blurry person in the corner.

“Hen-ri is that you?”

She mumbled in a slurred voice while she was rubbing her eyes and then let out a big yawn as she outstretched her arms.

Another jumbled mess entered her mind as her mind went fuzzy again. She heard hen-ri say.

“Madam, please call the healer, miss sof-ia has woken up but she seems in pain.”

“Right away.”

About twenty minutes later another man came in he then went straight up to sof-ia who at this point had her head under the covers muttering to herself incoherently. He then turned away after analyzing her for a few minutes. And while shrugging his shoulders he the said to Hen-ri and the madam.

“Well, you see there is nothing I can do, the problem lies not in her body but in here mana core.”

“Sorry?”

Asked the madam to which the doctor replied.

“Well madam Garcia the mana inside her is chaotic and a mess, currently it seems as though she herself is trying to fix it but that will take time but that is the only solution.”

“Very well, let us wait then. But would you mind checking on her once a day.”

“Anything for you Madam Garcia.”

“Thank you.”

“WILL YU ALL JUST SHUT UP, I’m trying to focus here.”

The shout came from under the bed sheets as they continued to hear chants and rants in other languages. Her mother responded with,

“Oh, my.”

“Just bear with your daughter though her concussion may be gone, she needs extreme focus to heal her mana core.”

“Very well.”

Madam Garcia said then turning around slowly while pulling out of fan and beginning to use it on her flushed complexion. The doctor and hen-ri then left the room.

Sofia breathed a sigh in relief, her short, pointed ears dropping slightly as she continued to focus on what she was doing, she had been doing this for a few hours when she figured it out.

“Mar-ia?”

She shouts.

“Yes, miss sof-ia?”

As a girl with short purple hair who looked to be about fifteen years old entered wearing a black and white maids outfit.

“Bring me a set of clothes.”

“Right away miss.”

She got out of bed with an audible moan and after she had stood up, she did a few stretches to release the tension in her muscles.

She slipped her night gown off showing a web of glowing blue lines going down her back from her ears all the way past he small but round but wrapping around her legs, they also went all the way up her arms and continued over her chest and ended over her ample bosom, she then walked over to the mirror and cupped her chest in front of it before heading towards the desk and grabbing a small white object that looked like a bar of soap. The blue lines covering her body shimmered for a moment and then a light mist started to be expelled from the device covering her whole body, and a few seconds later the mist dispersed leaving her feeling rejuvenated and her hair was no longer in a knit. She turned to her bed to see Mar-ia standing there with a bra she then helped sof-ia attach it and helped her put on her other clothes and she walked out of her room wearing a simple blue dress.

She headed for her mother’s study and then poked her head in through the door and said.

“Mother I apologize for my behavior earlier.”

“Accepted, I’m glad you’re alright.”

She muttered as she reluctantly turned her head away from the book in her hands and glanced at her daughter.

“Honey, you can’t go walking around in that dress you don’t even have any shoes on.”

“Mum I’m heading to the badlands.”
