Chapter 10: Chapter 9 – Cat girl hears bedtime story

After all the heated actions, I then lay with Lizz on her bed, my head resting on her chest, listening to every steady beat of her heart. Well, we didn't actually last until morning. In fact, not one hour in and we were already lay there like deflated balloons. But anyways, staying like this made me feel safe, warm, and at home. Even though we had only just met last night, it already felt like we had known each other for a lifetime.

Then, moving my face close to her breast, I sniffed. That smell... I just couldn't get enough of it. The bed, the blanket, the clothes, everything in the room was filled with her sweet pheromone. I closed my eyes and savored the moment. How fascinating. It was the same smell, but it was now pleasant and calming instead of driving me crazy.

As time passed, Felicia quickly became a part of the family. But the thing was, she was always alone. Grandma said that the girl was very unique. She rarely had conversations with anyone, rarely showed any emotion, and ate very little. She never asked for a raise and just accepted whatever they gave her. And she never bought anything other than the bare necessities needed for daily living.

So, because of that, grandma brought her so many clothes that her mother threw away. And grandma told me that whenever the girl tried something new on, she just stood there, watching her, mesmerized by her beauty for hours...

And just like that, they lived a happy life, until one day…

There was a fire dragon. It was Ignitas. The Fire Dragon King lost his mind due to a curse and went on a rampage. It destroyed countless cities and villages, and now, it was there in Wosmeowcia. With just one breath, half of the town melted into a river of bubbling lava.

Everyone panicked. Great grandma and great grandpa acted quickly to evacuate the family. But when they got onto the horse carriage and checked for people, they found Felicia missing. There was no time, so they had to leave her behind.

But grandma refused.

She jumped down so quickly that no one noticed her. Then, she ran towards the little house where Felicia stayed, but found nobody.

So grandma shouted and shouted and shouted Felicia’s name. Her voice shivered, as she could hear the dragon’s wings flapping closer and closer, and the horrifying grunting sounds that it made were like erupting volcanoes to her ears.

Not far away, people were screaming, running for their lives, while others were being burned alive.

But then, she saw it… a mysterious light coming from our family’s warehouse.

So she decided to investigate. And as she opened the door, she found her. Felicia stood in the middle of the warehouse, holding a mysterious crystal case in her hands.

“Felicia!” grandma shouted and waved at her. “We have to go, we have to go now!”

But Felicia didn’t react, nor did she come with her.

But instead, she opened the case… and inside it… there was a silver long sword, shining bright like the northern lights! And then, as the girl touched the sword, my grandma instantly realized that her house servant for so many years was actually a DeathWhizkersz.

Her blonde hair reverted back to white, as pure as snow. She spread her wings, still wearing the rosy dress that grandma gave her during a festival, but her beauty was now a thousand times more captivating than ever before.

Grandma was stunned.

Great grandma found them, also stunned.

Great grandfather too, couldn't move an inch due to how beautiful Felicia was.

And then, Felicia approached them, told them to get out of there, before staying to fight the dragon all by herself.

But then, the story ended abruptly.

"That's it," Lizz said.

"What?" I grabbed Lizz's arm and pleaded. "Continue, continue! Please don't end it like that, nya!"

I wanted to know, I wanted to know so badly! How did she fight the dragon king? What was the battle like? Who emerged victorious?

But Lizz shook her head, saying that she didn't know anything else. There was no way for her to tell the rest of the story.

All she knew was that her grandma listened to Felicia and the family left immediately. There was no witness, so nobody knew how the battle between the cat girl and the dragon actually ended.
