Chapter 11: Chapter 10 – Cat girl receives a gift

"Wait a minute!" Lizz exclaimed, as she suddenly remembered something. She ran to the bookshelf, her eyes scanning. "Aha!" She reached up and pulled down a thick, white-covered book.

I watched as Lizz flipped through the pages, her fingers moving quickly as she searched for something specific. As she held the book open, I noticed the strange language. I had never seen anything like it before, but to my surprise, I could understand it perfectly. In bold letters, the title read: "The History of the Northern Kingdoms."

Lizz scanned through the table of contents. A few seconds later, "Here it is!" she exclaimed, then flipped to page 735.

Year 342, November, Ignitas attacked Wosmeowcia after destroying several other towns. Most of the residents lost their lives, only a few survived and fled to the southern lands. Later, the knights' search led them to a forest that appeared out of nowhere. The trees there were not real, but created by ice magic, and the forest itself was surrounded by a powerful barrier of space magic. No matter how hard they tried, no one was able to enter.

After reading the page, Lizz suddenly remembered something else. She told me that a few years ago, her mother had led a team to investigate that forest. However, they were also unable to enter. As soon as they set foot in, they would immediately be teleported away unharmed.

"Wow, how strange nya" I exclaimed. "Do you think it was Felicia inside the forest nya?

"Well, very likely, because ice and space magic are DeathWhizkersz's special traits. Some says that the girl is still in there, but the others think that she has already passed away, and it was her last spell in order to protect some sort of secret.”

“I… I see nyaa…”

I exhaled deeply. Well, it was a really interesting story, but I somehow didn’t like the ending very much. It was somewhat anti-climatic, and left me with a lot of questions.

"Oh, right, is your mother a knight nya?" I suddenly remembered that detail.

"Yes!" Lizz answered, putting the book back on the shelf. "Mom refused to follow the family's profession anymore, so she ran away with Dad despite everyone's disapproval. After putting in a lot of effort, she eventually became a knight. "

Wow! I was impressed. Lizz's mother was really bold! The same was true for Lizz. Otherwise, why would she have sex with me? A girl she had only met for less than a day?

Even so, Lizz kept insisting, so I said okay and opened the box. And then, as I lifted the lid, the room was suddenly filled with dazzling, sparkling blue light. My jaw dropped in awe at the spectacular beauty of the object inside.

It was a pendant made of a precious blue gemstone, similar to a sapphire. But not only that, within it, I could see seven dots of light shining, flickering like stars in the night sky.

"Wow, it's so pretty nyaa!" I exclaimed, staring in wonder at the mesmerizing pendant.

"Right?" Lizz beamed with happiness. "Do you want me to put it on for you?"

Without waiting for my response, she took the pendant and carefully put it around my neck. Leaning in, she looked into my eyes with a dreamy expression and pressed her lips to mine.

"Are you sure... nya?" I asked, holding her tightly in my arms.

And she replied, “this pendant belonged to the past Felicia. Who else but a DeathWhizkersz is worthy enough to wear it?”
