Chapter 4: Mission On

"Say! What!?" Ace screamed at a boy with a thin build, with white hair, and gray eyes.

"I said it! I am in love with the Student Council President Sona Shitori." The boy screamed back.

"Sora you little s*it! Why did you? Didn't we take the oath of 'Bros before Hoes'!? I thought we were real brother!" Ace said while shaking Sora by the shoulders.

"We are brother! We are just not blood-related!" Sora revealed the fact that they were brothers. "We're brothers who are related by something even thicker than blood." Sora said as Ace calmed down. Sora put his hands on Ace's shoulder in an attempt to hug him.

"... Don't give me... FAMILY BULLS*IT!" Ace headbutted Sora who went tumbling to the floor. Ace was about to deal the final blow which was an elbow straight to the Solar Plexus. Sora defended by throwing a baseball at Ace who dodged it.

*Glass Shatters*

Both Ace and Sora looked back to see the window glass above the bed had shattered.

"Sora! Ace! What was that noise!?" They both gulped as they heard the voice of their mother. They looked at each other and nodded. Their brother-to-brother telepathy was at work as Ace handed Sora two pieces of cotton.

They both gave each other a thumbs up before the door of the room opened and revealed their beautiful mother Sayuri Akefu, a white-haired, fair-skinned woman of European descent. She had changed her name to Sayuri after her marriage with Ace's stepfather.

One hour later...

"Am I understood!" Sayuri asked the two pale figures on the ground.

"Yes... maam" Both Ace and Sora said.

"You didn't understand! I can tell by your voice!" Sayuri was getting ready for another lecture before Kaede came to the rescue, "Okaa-sama please stop! They are already dead!" she begged as Sayuri looked at the time and sighed.

"I am sorry little ones." Their father Hisoka Akefu apologized as he cowered at the dining table.

"No dinner for you two today." Sayuri declared as both Ace and Sora ran away. Ace went to his room but stop as he unlocked the door.

"Why are you here?" Ace asked Sora who was behind him.

"Forgot already. The window of my room is broken. Until it is fixed I am staying with you." Sora explained.

"..." Ace chose silence as he opened the door and let Sora in. They didn't speak at all as Ace went to bed and Sora laid on his Futon.

Inside Ace was feeling fuzzy. His family was lively and healthy and he was going to make sure it stayed that way.

His family situation was complicated as of now. His mother was of European descent, who in the past was married to an African-American before they broke apart and took with her, her child Ace. His mother then met his now stepfather Hisoka Akefu who had just lost his wife and was left with little Sora to take care of by himself.

They both fell in love and one year afterward had Kaede his little sister.

Ace's different skin color often made him feel distant from his family and peer circle but he got over it. He was now Akefu D. Ace of the Akefu family and Solomon in his school. Solomon was a nickname given to him by the girls because of his top grades. A reference to the Wise King.

The next morning...

Ace was having a nightmare and his constantly changing facial expressions said it. He woke up suddenly and breathed out a sigh.

Ace felt something on his legs, so he decide to look, and... he saw Sora sucking on his toe like a baby sucking on the nipple of a milk bottle.

"AAAAAAAA!" Ace pulled out his immediately and started to wipe the saliva off with his blanket.

"What happened? Alien attack!" Sora woke up and thought an Alien had attacked his home. He got a pillow to the face.

"Put your damn mouth in another toe. You masochist, Sadist Student Council President loving bastard." He threw another pillow to distract Sora before choke holding him.

"Both of you quiet!" Sayuri slammed open the door as both of them straightened up like trained military personnel. "At the table in 5 minutes or no breakfast! Am I understood!?"

"Yes! Ma'am!"

"Good!" She slammed to door close and went downstairs.

The rest of the two days were eventful as well. Ace's daily life went on undisturbed until he saw Issei talking to a beautiful girl.

'Looks like canon has begun.' His existence itself had changed the story. Most of all Sora was probably going to join Sona's peerage. It was the same day as his departure.

[Mission will start in T-minus 3 minutes.]

Ace looked at the blue screen while lying on his bed.

'Alexa. Buy me an Overall Body Reinforcement.'

[Overall Body Reinforcement. Cost: 10,000]

[Coins: 11,568]

His heart ached as he confirmed the the purchase.

'Confirm'

[Purchase has been made.]

[Status Update.]

[Strength: D]

[Endurance: D]

He was ready for this mission.
