Mori doesn’t know she is the last of the Osai Order—gods who once held dominion over the galaxy. Her life is one of survival, gathering treasure scraps from mines, hoping she can keep her village alive through one more winter.

But when the truth gets her father killed, she strides into the world of the Favored—glorified fighters who manifest Osai powers through nanite refiners in their blood. To destroy those that took everything from her, she must build an Ascension team strong enough to climb the Favored fighting circuits to the center of the galaxy.

The system is rigged against her, but with the fury of dead gods thrumming in her veins, along with new friends, Mori will carve a path to the top.
