When he opened his eyes, all that he could see was pitch blackness. However, he was able to pick up on the smallest details of everything that was going on around him. It was as if you had painted the walls, ceiling, and floor of an empty room with a dark paint that completely absorbed the light yet still allowed some of it to enter the room.

"Where the fuck am I?"

These were the first words he spoke in his new existence.

"I wanted to commit a non-life, but I fucking ended up here."

It turned out that the same individual had previous lives. When he was younger, he was an ordinary, average kid who had a terrible story to tell. As a result of the tragic loss of his parents, who were just a few years old when they were killed in a car accident, and the fact that he did not have any siblings or other members of the family who might help him, he was placed in an orphanage.

Even after he had completed all of his schooling, he was unable to get his life back on track. Because he had no one to talk to and was bored at work, he turned to booze and became an alcoholic.

Falling into melancholy with no one to give his life meaning, he took his own life.

However, he now woke up in an unfamiliar place, once again alone.

He started to glance around him in an effort to process the shock that he had just experienced. He became aware that he was hovering in the center of emptiness while seated on a throne that was both exquisitely designed and ominously ornamented.

Even though he did not understand why, he was able to deduce that this void is not limitless but rather has boundaries. They are not, however, unchangeable and fixed; they are capable of being extended, but not at this time.  He was flabbergasted because he had no reason to possess such information. It was almost as if something deep within him was enlightening him to his newly discovered truth.

A short distance away from where he was standing, he spotted some floating furniture. He made the decision to approach and investigate them in the expectation of gaining some insight into his new circumstance. He got off the throne, but he didn't let go of it completely since he was afraid of falling into nothingness. To his astonishment, though, he started drifting along with other items in the vicinity. After a great deal of practice, he eventually figured out how to direct the movement of it in the way he wanted.

This requires a little concentration and imagination, but he can take the direction of the drift by simply imagining it. Then he took a deep breath and set course for the furniture nearby.

It was a cabinet holding empty bottles, but he was sure they were not made of glass.

He didn't think about the purpose of these artifacts for long before looking in the mirror nearby. It's a plain mirror with no particular decorations, but that's not what drew his attention to it.

His own reflection sparked his interest.  He seems to be a man of thirty years of age with gorgeous black hair that is shoulder-length or longer and a small beard. Because his complexion is so pale, many people would mistakenly believe that he is ill. His irises are completely black, and his pupils are a brilliant blue that almost gives off the impression that they are sparkling. He wears clothing that is of exceptionally high craftsmanship and is reminiscent of a uniform from WW I. It is impossible for him to estimate his height because there are not enough measuring instruments or items available for him to compare himself against.

"Ok. I am starting to get anxious. What is going on?"

Then he saw a square partly transparent screen in front of him.

Welcome Host

He was so stunned that he stood for several minutes as if he had been hit by lightning. This occurrence can only signify one thing.

"Unknown environment. Different appearance. And a system. I was transported to another world just like in the novels."

After reaching this conclusion, he decided to assess the system's most common capability.

"System show me my status."

After saying these words, another screen appeared in front of him.
