Meanwhile, at H.Q....

Harvey is awakened by an incoming radio call from Arkson Base.

*Arkson Base to HQ! Arkson Base to HQ! Come in!*

“...*yawns* Wha-what? “

He immediately picks it up and talks to the radio.

[ A.B. (Arkson Base) ] [ Able 1-1 ] : *radio* " H.Q. This is Arkson Base. Can anybody hear me? Over."

"*yawns* This is H.Q. What’s the problem, Able 1-1? "

[ A.B. ] [ Able 1-1 ] : *radio* " Sorry to disturb you in your sleep, sir. But we got a situation over here."

"Hmm. What's going on?"

[ A.B. ] [ Able 1-1 ] : *radio* " Our radar picked several unknowns for about a kilometer and a half from here. I've already assembled the units and pilots to be on standby."

"Hmmm alright. Good. In case that they were hostiles, you have the permission to engage and eliminate them at all costs. But if they were just civilians, report back to me and don't let them get into the base. I’ll think of a quick operation plan. Standby and I’ll call you back for a moment. Copy?"

[ A.B. ] [ Able 1-1 ] : *radio* "Able 1-1 copies all, sir."

Harvey hangs up and orders the HOTEL Operators to be on standby also just in case while he plans for an upcoming operation. But before he proceeds on, he moves into an open field to spawn a detachment force to back up Arkson Base. ( A.N.: We’ll get to that later on. )

Next, he again contacts Able 1-1 for an evaluation and assessment. They had a short briefing on what was going on at the Arkson Base and discussed what would be the most efficient and best way to make the entire operation as effective as possible.

After the short briefing, Harvey orders the newly spawn units and gives them the Task: “Dispatch Team”, and heads inside the Chinook that was prepping on the helipad.

The Chinook and the Apache begin their systems check.

In the Apache's cockpit.....

[ VIPER 1 Pilot ] : */ This sure is getting pretty interesting heh? /*

[ VIPER 1 Co-Pilot ] : */ You bet. I wonder what those VIPER 2 knuckleheads are doing there. /*

[ VIPER 1 Pilot ] : */ I'm sure they're itching to pull the trigger. /*

[ VIPER 2 Co-Pilot ] : */ Aren't we too also? Ahahahaha. /*

[ VIPER 1 Pilot ] : */ Hehe. Cheeky bastard. How's the arsenal check? Are we good? /*

[ VIPER 2 Co-Pilot ] : */ A-firm. We good. /*

As the Dispatch Team is sitting inside the Chinook...

[ HAWKSEND 1 Pilot ] : */ Hi and welcome to airlines HAWKSEND 1. This is your captain speaking. I'm the handsome captain with no face - Captain HP-1. I will be your captain for tonight's trip. So sit back and enjo- /*

HCP-1 then takes the radio and...

[ HAWKSEND 1 Co-Pilot ] : */ Shut the fuck up. /*

The newly spawned Dispatch Team laughed.

Back to the forest…

A group of bandits was tasked to head out first to scout and check the village by Jackal.

Random Bandit 43 : "Hurgh. Why did boss also place me to scout the village? I don't want to die so fast!"

Random Bandit 25 : "Don't worry. If we are the first and eventually find something good, we can keep it a secret from our boss."

Random Bandit 78 : "Oohhh. I know that strategy. Hehehehe. Sounds good to me"

Random Bandit 25 : "Yes. Just follow us and we'll take care of the goods. We’ll pretend to head out to Arksonville, but in reality, we’ll just have to rob innocent civilians on the main road! Hehehe.."

Random Bandit 43 : "But, what if there's someone who can put up a fight with us?"

Random Bandit 25 : "Are you kidding me? This area is the poorest of the poor! They didn't have those petty soldiers with their high-quality armor and weapons! That’s why we easily took Arksonville."

Random Bandit 78 : "Yea. It's true that we hit a double jackpot yesterday night. Maan. I hope we can encounter some of the knights again to have them looted."

Random Bandit 25 : "See what I'm getting at?"

Random Bandit 43 : " Ehh. Okay. But, the first goodies that we will find are mine, okay?"

Random Bandit 25 : "Sure! Hog up all you can!"

Random Bandit 94 : "Hey guys! Look over there!"

The bandits then came approximately 400 meters at the entrance of Arkson Base. They hide by the bushes as they check the base out.

There are so many activities happening inside the base. People bringing Apache arsenals to the Apache by trucks, some are rushing back inside the main building, lights are getting turned off, people manning up defensive positions, etc.

Random Bandit 78 : "*whispers* What. The. Fuck? Is that Arksonville?"

Random Bandit 25 : "*whispers* Huh? No fucking way! This isn't what Arksonville is supposed to look like!"

He then checks their map.

Random Bandit 25 : "*whispers* Oh god. That may be Arksonville. There's no way my directions are wrong!"

Random Bandit 94 : "*whispers* Come on! Let's report back to boss!"

The front bandits move out to regroup to their boss and the rest of the force, that is on the further rear.

...

After a couple of minutes, the front bandits finally regrouped with the rest of the bandit force.

Random Bandit 25 : "BOSS! *pant* *pant*. We *pant* are at Arksonville."

Jackal : "Huh? What the fuck are you saying?"

Random Bandit 43 : "*pant* Boss. There's something wrong in that village. It isn't the way it looks before."

Jackal : "REALLY? WHAT DO YOU GUYS SAW?"

Random Bandit 78 : "We saw some strange-looking buildings. It seems that they are made out of metals, and some sort of concrete."

Bandit Leader : "WHAT DID YOU SAY? FUCKING CONCRETE? ARE THE NOBLES ARE LIVING HERE NOW?"

Concrete, on their world, is mostly used by nobles due to its high price. So it’s natural for them to be surprised about it

Random Bandit 78 : "I dunno boss. They also have some sort of vehicles that seem to be made out of metals and iron too."

Jackal : "Ohhh. Is that the flying metal vehicle the fuckers saw earlier this morning?"

Random Bandit 78 : "I don't know. But there's only one, perhaps. It also has an umbrella skeleton on the top part section. It has some four strange very long plates, but they are not moving."

Random Bandit 78 : "There's also some weird-looking wagons with wheels. It's so strange because I didn't see a horse pulling it and yet somehow it moves around the camp."

Jackal : "WHAT? Are you guys really aren’t delusional or something?"

Random Bandit 78 : "Really boss! Ask the others as well."

Jackal then stopped for a moment to think and came up with a conclusion.

Jackal : " ALL RIGHT! EVERYONE, FOLLOW ME!"

The bandit force then marched towards the Arkson Base.

...

Meanwhile, inside Arkson Base ...

[ A.B. ] [ Able 1-1 ] : *on H.Q. radio* "Roger that sir. Understood. "

As soon he hangs off the H.Q. radio intermission, Able 1-1 broadcasts a quick briefing to all of the units inside Arkson Base.

[ A.B. ] [ Able 1-1 ] : *on base radio* " ALL UNITS, ALL UNITS, HEAD INSIDE THE BRIEFING ROOM FOR FURTHER EVALUATION. ALL UNITS, ALL UNITS, HEAD INSIDE THE BRIEFING ROOM FOR FURTHER EVALUATION. "

All of the units and pilots went running into the briefing room.

As soon as the briefing room is full and complete of all base units, Able 1-1 enters the room. He walks to the front of them and presents their designated operation.

[ A.B. ] [ Able 1-1 ] : "Alright. I spoke with Sir Harvey about the current situation here. He finally came up with an operation: Designate “Operation Lament's Revenge”.

Able 1-1 then proceeds to discuss the entire operation as quickly as possible.

After the briefing, all of the base units head out to their defensive positions, while the pilots mount inside their Apache.

The base units were loadout with:

- Three M249 SAW

- Four operators with HK MG4

- and Two MK46 on overwatch

The VIPER 2 Pilots move inside their Apache and start prepping it.

[ VIPER 2 Pilot ] : */ Akson Base, this is VIPER 2, commencing prep. /*

[ VIPER 2 Pilot ] : */ Hey do some quick checks. /*

[ VIPER 2 Co-Pilot ] : */ Alrighty. Engine *beep*, green. Fuel, *beep*, green. Base huds, *swtich hud* ,check. Thermals, *switch to thermals* , check. NV's, *switch to NV's* , check. M230 mode, *switch to M230 gun mode* , check. Hydra mode, *switch to Hydra mode* , check. Hellfire mode, *switch to Hellfire mode* , check. Alright. That's about it. All status green. /*

[ VIPER 2 Pilot ] : */ Roger on that. Arkson Base, this is VIPER 2, standing by for takeoff. /*

[ A.B. ] [ Able 1-1 ] : "*radio* Copy that."

The roaring sound of the Apache stunned the bandits from afar.

Random Bandit 65 : "Wha-wha-what is that noise?"

Random Bandit 92 : "THIS IS IT! THIS ARE THE ONE'S THEY'VE HEARD THIS MORNING! THE LOUD THUMPING SOUNDS!

Random Bandit 53 : "Oh god oh god oh god. Are they dragons? Please I don't want to fight dragons."

Random Bandit 71 : "Come on. Dragons don't exist. Calm down."

Jackal : "EVERYONE.CALM.THE FUCK.DOWN! WE STILL HAVEN'T SEEN THOSE WEIRD THINGS! DON'T GET EASILY DISCOURAGED BY A SIMPLE SOUND! "

Bandits : "YES BOSS!"

The bandit force continues to march on towards Arkson Base.

But unbeknownst to them, another Apache helicopter together with a Chinook containing the Dispatch Team inside, are up in the air and are now heading towards Arkson Base.

[ VIPER 1 ] : */ Arkson Base, this is VIPER 1. We're 10-mikes until arrival. Over. /*

[ HAWKSEND 1 ] : */ Arkson Base, HAWKSEND 1. We got chalks ready to drop off there. Over. /*

[ A.B. ] [ Able 1-1 ] : "*radio* VIPER 1, copy that. HAWKSEND 1, we'll have VIPER 2 on the air right now. So feel free to drop those chalks anytime. "

[ HAWKSEND 1 ] : */ Roger that Arkson Base. /*

Able 1-1 then proceeds to announce on the base radio.

[ A.B. ] [ Able 1-1 ] : *base radio* "ALL UNITS, Code NIMFA! I SAY AGAIN: Code NIMFA!"

All of the base units, excluding Able 1-1, prepare their weapons lock-and-loaded.

Machine guns are placed near the fences. Some are in the watchtowers and some are on the ground barricades.

VIPER 2, also geared up, rises up to the ground and flies towards the bandit force's location.

...

Meanwhile at the bandit's location...

Random Bandit 3 : "Boss *pant* *pant* I think *pant* we should rest quickly!"

Random Bandit 43 : "Yeah boss! *pant* I'm starting to get tired because of all these armor and weapons. "

Jackal looks around his underlings and sees the exact same thing - they're all exhausted from marching.

All of those heavy armors and weapons they carried were making things harder for them to continue further.

Jackal : "Alright! EVERYONE STOP! WE’RE GONNA REST FOR A WHILE!"

Most of the bandits lay and sat down on the ground, panting and exhausted. Many of them drink water and eat food. But some bandits stayed to guard the surrounding area for enemies.

But then, while they are halted and lingering around, the thumping sounds are becoming louder and louder. The bandits realize the increasing sound volume of the thumping noise.

Random Bandit 55 : "Hmm. There's something strange."

Random Bandit 52 : "What is it?"

Random Bandit 55 : "Listen listen!"

The sound of an apache helicopter is getting stronger and stronger.

*TUGUDUGUDUGUDUGUDUGUDUGUDUGUDUG!*

...

After a while, all of the bandits look up in the sky and see the flying metal vehicle that some of the bandits saw early this morning.

They are all stumped and bewildered about the flying metal vehicle that some of them can’t get their eyes to look away.

But, as they continue to watch further, the flying metal vehicle releases what appears to be fireballs, coming from beneath and the sides of the flying metal vehicle.

Bandits : "WHOOAAAAAAAAAAAAA !"

Inside VIPER 2's cockpit.....

[ VIPER 2 Pilot ] : */ You ready for this? /*

[ VIPER 2 Co-Pilot ] : */ Roger on that. Wait, I'm going to try first the flares and see how they will react. You okay with that? /*

[ VIPER 2 Pilot ] : */ Flares approved. /*

Most of the bandits are bewildered and shocked. The pilots knew that these were hostile bandits because of the briefing they had earlier at Arkson Base.

[ VIPER 2 Co-Pilot ] : */ Switching to Thermals. *switch to Thermals* /*

[ VIPER 2 Co-Pilot ] : */ M230.... *switch to M230 mode* roger. /*

[ VIPER 2 Pilot ] : */ Arkson Base, VIPER 2 is engaging /*

[ A.B. ] [ Able 1-1 ] : "*radio* Solid copy. Go hot."

[ Viper 2 Pilot ] : */ Roger. You heard the man! Go! /*

[ Viper 2 Co-Pilot ] : */ Alright. GUNS GUNS GUNS /*

As soon as the 30 mm calibres struck and exploded the ground where the bandit force was, the bandit force came in disarray. They've all lost in formations and some panicked and ran away. Most of them were struck by the shrapnel and bullets as the M230 Chain Gun continues to rain lead over them.

"ARRRRGGGGGHHHHH!!!"

“WAAAAAAHHHHHHGGGG!!!!”

But it isn’t the last. The Apache then fires a couple of Hydra 70 Rockets upon the bandits.

*PSSHW!**PSSHW!**PSSHW!**PSSHW!**PSSHW!**PSSHW!*

Striking them, the bandits were torn into pieces. Some were catapulted a few meters, and some had their brains explode.

Bandit's screams fill the entire area, which is sometimes silenced by the M230 Chain Gun and Hydra 70 Rockets by the Apache.
