Chapter 2 ( Find The Lost One)
Three weeks later, I walked out to get some fresh air in a greenish scenery. They called this place “the park” and it was truly a wonderful place to be in. Even with my twenty years of stay here, this planet could never cease to amaze me.
With the clear blue sky and the easy to breathe air and the sound of people, as ignorant as they may be, peacefully passing by. Even the children running around made me the more happy.
But that was not why I was here. I came here to think. Think about the necessary actions that I have to take in order to save this planet from destruction.
My Navègat began to blink more violently since that day. This was a sign to show that they were very close now or that they have even landed already.
I was rendered useless, unable to do anything because the guilt of running away still held me back. And my massive display of fear had already reduced my “source”.
Our source is what we call the abilities granted to us by the great deity, Gratis. This source depends on courage, hard work and our faith in Gratis. The Spuino Graila is meant to finish a battle with extreme bravery and not fear, even if their deaths are present before them.
Just the mere thought of surrendering and running away might reduce one’s source.
Neither have I unlocked the full limits of my power which my source holds nor have I used it once. I was always able to win all my battles with just the destruction energy flowing in space and my sword, so much that I never knew how to use my source.
I was sure that if the Rashivans, especially if they are like the ones I faced before, made their way here, I would be unable to do anything. So I could only hope for stronger Spuino Graila to arrive, even though they were now short in numbers.
The mere thought of this planet being obliterated made my digestive system turn and I almost vomited but composed myself as I was outside and could not begin to embarrass myself and Kegan.
Today was the day that he was meant to be discharged so I went there to get him. But, he was not there. I asked around but no one knew where he was. I fell to the ground. A large rain of thoughts clouded my feeble mind.
Have the Rashivans arrived?
Could they have taken Kegan?
Do they know that he’s my son?
Negative thoughts filled my spirits as I got up and ran to the main exit. Just then I heard the word “mother “ coming from someone’s mouth, the same voice as Kegan. I turned and saw him, all dressed up and smiling. Almost dropping a tear I ran to him and hugged him. Of course, this was all out of instinct. Do not think that I am weak. I was still a commander of the ultimate force of good in the entire history of creation.
“Where did you go to, Kegan?” I asked him.
“Oh, I just went to try the basketball court at the back and see how much my bone’s healed. And, don’t be mad, but looks like my finger’s broken.” He said with a pathetic expression on his face, but I couldn’t care less and took him home.
In the car, I could sense Kegan’s cold gaze at me and looked at him. I let out a little smile, to stop him from worrying but this did not help my case at all.
“What’s wrong?” He asked suddenly.
“W-what do you mean? There’s nothing wrong, it’s just your broken finger that I’m worried about.” I decided to play dumb.
He did not stop from giving me his cold stare but backed off and smiled.
“If there’s anything wrong, tell me, okay?” He told me.
I nodded yes in response and continued to drive.
But how do I tell you little one? How do I begin to tell you about the fate of your planet, or the Spuino Graila or the Rashivans or Gratis.
Where do I even start from?
We just continued the drive in total silence till we got home. I took his bag and put it in his room, while he sat down in the living room to watch television.
My Navègat began to blink, faster, faster and faster. As every second passed by, it blinked faster too, until I heard the doorbell ring.
Was this fear?
I didn’t feel like this the last time.Sweat dropped from my chin, before I realized that this sweat from me. It finally occurred to me that this feeling called fear has levels and each level could spell someone’s downfall. As involuntary as it was, it was a very dangerous thing to feel.
I regained composure and reached for the doorknob. I twisted it open and saw two people at the entrance. Both being a male, who looked the same as my age, and a female, who look almost like Kegan’s age or older.
“Hello, Trish.” The man speaks.
“Who are you?” I asked coldly so as to prevent them from seeing my vulnerable side. I opened the door just at the right angle so that Kegan would be out of sight, but the girl was able to see him and uses this to make sure that she was allowed inside.
She ignored me and ran inside shouting.
“Hiiiiiiii. I’m Lei. Your cousin.” She immediately spoke up all energetic. So energetic that some people might think that she’s mad.

“Cousin?” Kegan looked at me and looked back at the girl who introduced herself as Lei.
She extended her arm for a handshake.
“Oh, you’re Trish’s niece then. I didn’t know she had a family outside.”
Kegan repaid her gesture and shook her hand. Then she sat down comfortably on one of the couches.
“C-come in.” I told the other man so as to avoid any unnecessary scene. The man happily walked in and took a seat introducing himself as Uncle Phono and my brother.
I sensed no Rashivan energy and started to think of these two as allies. Allies who have finally found me and are here to take me back.
As they talked for a bit, I looked at Phono and he nodded back. He followed me to the balcony leaving Lei and Kegan behind.
“Why are you here?” I asked.
I clearly do not know all members of the Spuino Graila but they do know me, because I was a commander during my time.
“The Rashivans have declared here as the next spot for the battle.” He replied.
“This is what I feared the most, any battle strategies?”
He was oddly confused.
“Battle strategies? The plan is to fight for the planet and the well being of the entire multiverse. So it’s kill or be killed, there are no strategies.” He countered me.
But this was the order. This is how we do things everywhere, across universes and planets. The concept was divided into good and evil, and allows no room for battle strategies since both sides have been chosen for a particular cause and have to submit to that cause.
There was nothing in my arsenal, that could prevent or oppose the order.
I sighed and nodded.
“So why are you here?”
“We initially came here and decided to wait for the Rashivans to make their move, but then our Navègat detected a huge amount of source and that’s how we got here. So I want to ask you, is it true that you ran away?”
This question broke me down. I never thought that I would hear this question till I lay on my death bed. I nodded and he looked down.
“That would mean that your source has gone down by a lot, but you still have more power than us.” He concluded.
“I have more power?”
I thought everything or almost everything would have gone down and made me rank less. But this was not the case, I was still stronger than these two who hold a huge amount of power.
“The Spuino Graila have been shifted again to different universes and we were shifted here, maybe by coincidence, but I am glad that we were able to find you. So please, allow me to ask you something very crucial.” He came closer.
I was indeed uncomfortable but sensed no form of sexual assault or bloodlust from him, so I asked him to continue.
“I want you to aid us in this fight.” He bowed down at my feet.
I stepped back and he continued.
“No one from Spuino Graila really wants a planet that he or she has been sent to protect to get destroyed, that’s why I beg you, please help us defeat the Rashivans.”
I forgot about the feeling of being wanted like this, to stand by the concept of good, to defend the multiverse and to defeat Rashivans, the embodiment of evil. This triggered me and I accepted without thinking.
“Okay, I’ll do it. But this will be the last time, that I’ll help the Spuino Graila. After this, I’ll transfer my source to someone else.” I told him with carefulness.
Phono was really happy and hopped about shaking my hand and telling about how grateful he was. As mature as he was, he had this scarce behavior that spelt out “child” in him.
“Thank you, commander.”
And so it was settled, I would help Spuino Graila in this fight.
