"Ah, traditional Japanese food always hits the spot."
While eating with the other four, Hajime stated loudly as he felt incredibly delighted to taste everything so motherly after this long time.
The dinner was served nearly at eight as everyone joined the table.
"You hired a Michelin chef, right? He doesn't cook Japanese food?"
Toshio asked his friend since he could tell how badly Hajime missed the food which both of them loved to chow, in the past.
Hajime sneered slightly as he spoke in a disappointed tone.
"If his cooking was even ten percent of what I am eating right now, then I will raise his pay by ten folds."
Toshio just shook his head in defeat and continued to run his chopsticks around the plate, as the dining space fell into a brief silence.
"Here, Sayuri."
"Thanks, Yuu. "
Hajime, along with Mirai and Toshio's eyes, went to the couple who were eating side by side in front of the two fathers.
Yuuta handed a small dish that had fish fillet served on. It wasn't tough to discern that because of Sayuri's difficulty with chopsticks, Yuuta helped her to get rid of fish bones.
Mirai felt delighted in her heart as she saw the sight of Yuuta being so caring toward his fiancee. Toshio has the same kind of reaction as he nodded in pride toward his son.
As for Hajime...
'Gah...why didn't I notice it first. '
Looking at the pair, Hajime wasn't able to endure as he asked something he didn't intend to at this moment.
"So Yuuta-kun, do you have any experience in cooking? I mean, maybe you both live separately from your parents in the future. And from what I know, Sayuri can't cook anything other than garlic bread."
"I can learn to cook, dad."
Sayuri blushed as she grumbled in a low tone. She admits that cooking isn't something she could boast about, but it wasn't like she wouldn't learn in the future.
Throwing everything on Yuuta wouldn't be any good. She must take care of household chores and also help Yuuta to change his clothes when he...
'Wait! What am I even... '
Her blush deepened, but the reason was unknown to anyone around her.
"You know Hajichi, my talented son, prepared today's dinner. So you don't have to worry about them."
Mirai spoke with a huff as she flaunted her son skills which can capture any woman's heart.
Toshio and Hajime looked toward the ashy-haired boy in astonishment as the prior mentioned raised his voice in complete awe.
"You never cooked anything for us, son. Is it that your father-in-law holds more importance than your own father."
"No, dad, it's not like that. I just never found the opportunity."
Yuuta consoled his over-dramatic father as the person beside him spoke this time.
"You really can cook this much? Impressive."
Hajime was so fascinated by the taste of food that he couldn't help himself from complimenting Yuuta.
The varieties of food, the absolutely perfect blend of ingredients, and the classic Japanese flavors made the food extremely addictive to his taste buds.

But it wasn't enough to let Hajime know whether Yuuta was indeed perfect for his princess daughter or not.
'Well, your real test would begin tomorrow, boy.'

After dinner, Yuuta darted back in his room without any further ado since he received a call from a certain someone.
Sayuri engaged the elders in some of her dress-designing hobbies, so Yuuta's absence doesn't bother them.
Returning to his room, Yuuta connected his phone as he laid down on the bed before a melodious voice started ringing in his ear.
From what Mio told, class 1'C' somehow won the first group round and advanced to the next stage on the first day.
Even Mio was chatting merrily about the day and victory, a slight frown borough up on Yuuta's face, for some reason.
"You should have seen how Shio was running all around the place..."
"Hey, aren't you talking a lot about Shio today?"
On the other side, Mio blinked in surprise as she heard Yuuta's stern voice as if he was complaining or sort.
Turning herself, she hugged a plushie over her bountiful breast, before asking in an amused tone.
"Why Yuuta-kun sounds jealous all of a sudden?"
"It's because I am jealous."
Yuuta's frown deepened as he heard the playful giggles from the other side. Although his heart was fulfilled after hearing Mio laughing so care freely, Yuuta still had a score to settle.
"You know what, Mio."
"Hmmm~."
After halting, Mio hummed in response before Yuuta spoke in a tone that made Mio feel like he was standing just beside her.
"Rejoice you aren't in front of me, right now, or you would have regretted bringing Shio's name so many times."
Mio's heart thumped in exhilaration as she heard the authoritative tone of her lover before her grip became rigid on the plushie.
"And what would you have done, if I said it in front of you?"
Her heart was leaping in beats as she muttered something she generally doesn't dare to speak.
Yuuta took a little pause before he whispered his genuine piece of mind.
"I would have pressed you on the wall, held your waist in my tight hold, and have ravaged your lips so badly that you would be begging for me to stop. That's what I can do as a little punishment."
The both sides went silent for several seconds. What was their reactions was still a little unclear.
Only Mio's soft whisper was heard after a pause.
"I really want to see you now...."
