Chapter 52: Mom knows?!

After talking to Yuuta, which ended a little earlier than she wanted, Mio fell back on her bed as she thought of today.

Various things happened that kept her occupied, and she thought that it might keep her muddleheaded at night too.

But she was wrong...

The thought of Yuuta never leaves her mind even though she tries not to think about him. She decided not to call him today, but in the end, she took the initiative to contact him.

Hearing his voice, remembering his touch over her body, his warmth; she missed everything so badly right now, that she felt her heart growing numb and vision hazy.

**Knock**

"It's dinner time, Mio."

Thanks to her mother's call, she got out of her stupor before she could have shed like a sore loser.

Twisting her doorknob, she found her mother standing at the other end.

Mio looks a lot like her mother except for the eyes. Same blond hair and athletic stature with breasts slightly above average.

"Fought with him?"

Mio became flustered as she hurriedly asked in reflex.

"Whom?"

"Ah, don't play dumb now, my dear daughter. I know you have a boyfriend. What was his name... Yeah, Yuu~."

Mio's eyes went wide as she followed her mother, who was walking to the kitchen.

"How do you...and I don't moan like that."

Her mother was amused with her all-time tomboy daughter getting flustered like this, as she teased her a little more.

"Of course, you do. I wonder how your dad would react if he hears that his d-"

"Mom!"

Mio dashed and stood in front of his mother with a pleading look in her eyes.

A grin formed across the older one's lips as she folded the hand under her bosom before she said in a mischievous tone.

"Have you already done 'that'?"

Mio became flushed all over her body as she parted her lips in shock but failed to even mutter a single word.

After a whole minute Mio finally regained some of her composure as she replied with her face completely covered in crimson shade.

"No, w-we didn't..."

The woman grabbed her daughter's hand fondly before all the tease vanished in an instant, as she spoke in a warming tone.

"It's okay, Mio. You are already 16, so I can understand if something happens unspeakable. But if possible, let me meet this little boyfriend of yours before you guys move to that phase, okay?"

Mio's eyes went round in bafflement as she sobered up in an instant.

Looking at her mother for a long time, she came to realize various things and thanked her luck that she found such a cool mother.

A smile made way on her lips, as Mio held her mother's hand and spoke in an assuring tone.

"Mm. Will do."

After finishing the meal and chatting a lot about the day and stuff, Mio walked back to her room.

It was really amazing how her mother had experience in everything. Whether it's a competitive contest or the love life of youth, her mother told various interesting stories of her school days.

Merrily hoping on the way, Mio turned her doorknob before she clicked the switch light as the room got illuminated.

"Ahh!"

A loud cry left her mouth when her mother asked in perplexion.

"Is everything alright, Mio?"

Mio stared inside her room for a second before turning on her toes as she babbled to prevent her mother from coming toward her.

"Yeah, mom. Everything is fine."

Saying, so she stepped inside her room before locking the door.

Landing her head on the door, Mio closed her eyes as she asked under her breath.

"Am I dreaming coz of my desperation, or are you really here?"

Not so long after, two long arms wrapped around her torso before a manly smell wafted around and overwhelmed her senses.

"Why don't you kiss me to confirm my presence."

Hearing the voice she missed so much and feeling the warmth her body only craves, Mio felt her heart getting steadier than ever.

Leaning her head on his chest Mio whispered in a soft tone, much to the other one's enthrallment.

"Baka...."
