**YAWN**

With a heavy yawn, a handsome silver-haired man got off his room and stretched out his body, emphasizing his tall, slightly muscular build.

The maids working on the early shift greeted the man with slight flush adorning their faces, as they saw, Hajime in his sleeveless shirt and boxers.

Despite being in his thirties, he still had the charm which could make a maiden's heart, flutter.

Nodding, the man walked to the living room and scrolled through the messages he had received from the company and other people.

'Ah, it's crowded.... '

Swiping the whole notification bundle away, his eyes went to the top left corner of the screen as he realized that he had woken up quite early, although he had slept late last night.

Undoubtedly upon meeting his school friends after this long, there were a bunch of things they had to talk about, majorly related to their past.

The chatting went on and on until the clock hit double zero.

'It's only 5...what should I do... '

Hajime knew that waking up Sayuri would be a disaster since she had a bad temper in the morning. He has lost count of how many times she has kicked him out until she didn't reach the age of thirteen.

After that, she always locked her door before going to bed.

'Well, I might hit the gym when I have the time... '

Hajime doesn't lift weights regularly, but once in a while, when he gets free from his schedule, he gives his body some proper attention.

Halting one of the maids, Hajime asked in a soft tone.

"Excuse me, pretty lady. Can you tell me where the gym is?"

The maid smiled gleefully before she bowed and asked the man to follow her.

The gym was at the backside of the mansion, which was unsymmetrically built a little longer on the rear end. The side of the house was made for Yuuta's amusement, but it turned into a place filled with bars and equipment.

Stretching his arms, Hajime entered the place only to be halted between his steps as he saw the scene inside.

The whole place, indeed, looked like a well-furnished gym with almost everything one could find necessary. Along with that, the middle of the hall was dedicated to martial equipment.

Wooden dolls, Kongoken, sand buckets, and much more stuff that only a reputed dojo provides were placed neatly yet in bad condition. It indeed was fascinating to see so many new and old things blend in a single space.

Amidst all those, Hajime's eyes never left the boy who had his hand connected to a fixed pole with his body hanging like a flag.

Hajime nodded in approval as per seeing the refined muscles of Yuuta as the latter focused on his training in such a difficult position.

Yuuta, on the other hand, heard someone coming inside, and after witnessing the person, he got out of his reverie and decided to greet the guest.

Landing softly, he spoke in a serene tone.

"Good morning, Hajime-san. I hope you had a great night's sleep."

Unlike yesterday, somehow Yuuta had a more energetic and cheerful smile on his face, as if something good had happened.

Wait...

"I don't have any suspicions about my daughter...but you guys haven't moved into that phase before marriage, right?"

Hajime's eyes narrowed as he might jump on Yuuta if the latter gave an undesirable answer.

But fortunately, his fear came out futile as Yuuta responded with a decline.

"You can rest assured, Hajime-san. I won't do anything which could hurt Sayuri."

Hajime nodded before his eyes went back to the training equipment as he spoke in a neutral tone.

"Are you planning to become a professional fighter or something? That thing looks pitiful."

Pointing at the broken wooden dolls kept to be replaced, Hajime spoke with astonishment filling his eyes.

Yuuta looked in the direction where the man was pointing before he responded honestly.

"Martial arts is just my hobby, and I am not planning to turn this into a profession."

Despite leaving his old world and the life he had gotten used to, Yuuta couldn't define how addictive this art was. He might not be obliged to train anymore, but until his mind and body works, he can't laze around and let his bones get rotten.

Hajime stayed quiet for some moments after he heard Yuuta before he spoke in a longing tone.

"Back in those times, your father and I used to play delinquent when a guy just like you beat the shit out of us in front of everyone. He also knew martial art, but Toshio and I only knew how to swing our fists."

Suddenly amidst something in his story which genuinely surprised Yuuta, Hajime turned toward the boy before he said in a desperate tone.

"Yuuta. If ever you spot wannabe Delinquents, and you feel like beating them. Please make sure there isn't any girl around."

Yuuta didn't quite understand, but looking at Hajime's eyes which spoke more than his words, Yuuta just nodded, albeit a little weirded out.

Almost everyone woke up near six as the plan for today was already scheduled.

The group of five, along with some maids, were going to hike today for what Toshio and Hajime planned to reminisce about the times of their golden age.

Today was an important day for Sayuri and Yuuta. Undoubtedly, Hajime would be observing them today and from what he concludes, it would affect various things.

Sayuri was so anxious that she stayed awake most of the night thinking about how she should act or what could happen if things went south by chance.

But as Yuuta asked, she had entrusted everything to him since acting wasn't her fortè and especially when she had to lie to her father.

Gathering near the minivan parked at the entrance of the mansion, the five eye-catching people organized the stuff inside with the help of the servants.

Nearly at 6.30, Toshio took the driver role as his friend acquired the seat beside him and others at the back.

With a big smile on his face, Toshio announced their departure.

"Okay then, here we go."
