Inside a comfortable mini-van could be seen, a group of seven people sharing an intimate space as they chatted about various things along the way to their trek.

At the front, two seats could be seen two charming adult men named Toshio and Hajime. The middle seats were occupied by Yuuta, Mirai, and Sayuri, with the older one in between. The last seats were taken by the two maids who came along to help their masters.

The place Toshio and Hajime chose for the refreshing activity was the mountain they once visited when they were in school. A forest-covered mountain situated in the Kyoto region.

The distance was at most three hours in the car, but since it was morning time and traffic was significantly less, it was estimated to reach their destination half an hour earlier.

"Have you ever hiked, Sayuri?"

Amidst chatting, Toshio asked while keeping his eyes steady on the road.

"Umm... I did have practiced climbing in school the previous year, but I am not sure about hiking."

Sayuri answered, a little embarrassed as she knew mountain climbing and hiking were two different things, yet in the spur, she blurted out like an achievement.

"Well, it's all about stamina. I bet I would fall first on the battlefield."

Mirai added her expectation for herself in a dramatic way, making the front two chuckle slightly.

"What about you two? Would you guys follow us or wait at the foot end?"

Hajime, after turning his head, directed his gaze on the two maids who had been silent until now.

Being asked so suddenly, they became startled but answered nonetheless.

"We can manage, Akane-sama."

Mirai nodded as she added her confirmation.

"I chose these two because they are the fittest ones in my maid's harem. Right, Sana~."

Sana, the young maiden, became flustered being centered on so much attention as she hid her face away in shame.

"Mom, you do know what that word means, right?"

Yuuta asked in a low tone, on which Mirai made a clueless expression.

"What word Yuu-chan? "

Yuuta sighed as he shook his head and decided not to pursue this matter anymore before it got embarrassing for him.

"And you, Yuuta? After seeing you this morning, I am expecting a lot to rely on you today."

Hajime said with a warm smile, but what his mind had in store was limited to him only. The others were perplexed by his statement since they didn't know about Yuuta and Hajime's meeting in the gym.

Hearing the words, Yuuta smiled in reciprocation as he answered in a confident tone.

The group halted at a wholly isolated spot with some cars parked in the shed. Since it was a weekend, it was natural for families to go hiking just like them.

The two maids, named Sana and Chigusu, took out the small things since the two adult men took the heavy bags. Yuuta also helped to take out the equipment and other miscellaneous stuff.

"It sure is refreshing to breathe in nature."

Mirai inhaled deeply while enjoying the cold breeze of winter mixed with the earthly fragrance. Despite being a little shorter than average, Mirai had a well-proportioned body along with her silver-ashy grey hair currently tied in a ponytail.

The pink and white tracksuit gave a lovely touch to her overall appearance.

Others also were wearing the same type of clothes since the activity needed free movement while keeping their body warm in the November wind.

While others arranged the things they needed to get on with them, Yuuta walked to the other side of the car, where Sayuri stood while tidying her messy hair.

She was wearing a black and white tracksuit which complimented her complexion, and the fit body design gave her refined beauty-type vibes.

"Hey. Put these inside your shoes."

Sayuri got startled as she didn't see Yuuta approaching.

Nearly failing to catch, Sayuri got hold of some small blue pads before she looked at Yuuta perplexingly.

"Heating gel pads. You might feel a problem walking long distances."

Sayuri's eyes went wide as instead of thanks, she said something she might regret later.

"Dad isn't looking right now. Why this consideration?"

She had already checked through the window that her father was on the other side, laughing about something. Naturally, he was unaware of the situation on the other side, making Sayuri confused about Yuuta's actions.

But little did she think the person in front would answer in such a way.

"Can't I care for you when only we are acting?"
