**Ding*Dong**

Mio got up to open the door since she wanted to greet Yuuta first. She was a little nervous for some reason but it didn't stagger her pace to the entrance.

*Click*

Clicking the door lock, Mio opened the main door before she saw the face she was expecting. Except for the fact that unlike usual, Yuuta had a dark expression on his face.

Mio knew the reason for such a face but first, she invited him inside.

"Yuu, I-"

"Is your mother inside? I will greet her first."

Not letting her complete her words, Yuuta asked abruptly before he started walking inside after letting go of his shoes.

Mio was utterly bewildered by his behavior since she expected at least a light hug when they met after so long(from her perspective). But he actually gave her a cold shoulder?!

With her fluffy cheek bulging in the complaint, Mio followed him inside before she saw the two bulking men bowing respectfully in front of their master.

""Greetings, Young Master Yuuta.""

"You two can leave."

Without sparing another glance, Yuuta dismissed the guards before he moved toward the living area where sat an astonished woman.

Mio's mother, Yumeko Nanami, was informed by her daughter that her boyfriend has gone on a hiking trip with his family, so his appearance all of a sudden definitely would surprise her.

Seeing Yuuta walking up to her, Yumeko rose from the sofa and intended to invite him to take a seat. But before she could have spoken, Yuuta bowed a little as he spoke in a heavy yet respectful tone.

"It's nice to meet you, Nanami-san. I am Yuuta Kiriya, the person who is dating your daughter for a while. I apologize for not informing you before but I hope we can get along."

Mio's heart melted in an instant as she saw the way he announced his relationship with her. A beautiful smile formed on her face as she decided to forgive the previous behavior of this unfair man.

On the other hand, Yumeko was startled at being directed with so many formal words which no one uses in her house. Not to talk about the surprise she got from his appearance.

Never had she thought that his wild and unruly daughter would have been dating such a handsome young man?

Now she got a topic to brag about at her female chat group, hehe~

"Ah, it's okay Yuuta-kun. I understand and don't just stand there. Take a seat. You must be tired after traveling so long."

Yuuta lifted his head before he was guided by Yumeko to the sofa as he sat facing her. Mio also got out of her stupor as she walked inside the house to bring something for Yuuta.

Yuuta's gaze lingered on Mio's back as his mind continued to be distressed about various things.

Yumeko studied his expression for a short period before she sighed in defeat and spoke in a serene tone.

"I know you are worried about her. So go and check yourself if she's alright."

Yuuta hurriedly pulled his gaze as he heard the older woman's words which sounded nothing less than the song of a swan.

Yuuta needed nothing more than to talk to Mio in person and receiving the green flag from the woman of the house…he couldn't ask for anything more.

"Um..I… "

Yuuta hesitated about what to speak since it would be too rude to just get up and chase after Mio. But fortunately, Mio's mother was understanding enough to not mind such trivial things.

"Just go, you lover boy. I can't talk to a person who is getting sick in worry for his girlfriend. But yeah, if things escalate rather wildly, you better check the second drawer."

Yuuta was perplexed about the last part of her advice as he thanked her and darted toward the kitchen.

"Eh, Yuuta-kun?"

Mio was about to pick up the tray filled with coffee and snacks when suddenly she felt her wrist being held and her feet greeting dragged by Yuuta.

"Stop talking and just come with me. I have a lot to settle with you."

With that Yuuta pulled the pitiful girl who still was unaware of her crime inside her room before closing the door with a bam.

The older version of Mio who was hearing the small banter only sighed as she sipped on her coffee.

'This young love… I better plan my grandchildren's names fufu~'
