"Tell me."

With a sigh, Seth settled down on the dining chair as he asked his secretary Ciel to brief his schedule as the maids arranged breakfast for him.

The over-dramatic episode with Lara made him tired already so early in the morning but he can't just take a day off from his work for it.

Undoubtedly, being a Duchess' child and the sole President of Pristine Academy's student council, gives Seth a lot of authority and benefits but there are numerous responsibilities too, he has to take care of.

Ciel had a better mood compared to her usual self, as she looked at the tab and started reporting the President in a slightly cheery tone.

"Today, President has to report for [Cross-unit Spar] for the first half. The second half of the school would be left leisure for the President to decide."

Seth's hand which was about to scoop the first serving of porridge, halted as he heard the word 'Spar'.

It was no competition type of battle where they would gain points or something. Rather, it's the duty of Third-year students to guide the newcomers and help them learn things or two through a friendly brawl.

In the novel, Seth used some cheap tricks to beat down his opponent but in the end, he was caught by the surveillance unit and was forced to apologize in public.

Of course, now the situation wouldn't go as they were intended to.

"You can go, now."

Ciel bowed with a smile since she found Seth's voice a little softer than yesterday. Little did she know that it was his mental chaos that made Seth slightly absent-minded.

After breakfast, he took his things from the study and walked out of the mansion with the group of maids following behind.

Lara wasn't included in one of them.

Climbing the carriage, he heard the maids bidding their farewell with a warming smile mutually spread on their lips.

""Have a safe trip, young master. ""

Seth was about to nod and command the coachman to drive away when he halted and turned his head toward the woman who had taken charge of the Head maid in Lara's stead.

"Make sure Lara doesn't get out of the room and ensure that no sharp object is brought around her."

The raven-haired maid got startled being directed by her master's attention but she made a mental note of all his words and nodded only after he finished.

"I understood, master. Rest assured, I will do everything as master desires."

Seth pulled back the weary sigh and nodded toward the maid before he told the coachman to move.

'Man… this is getting tiring… '

I somehow shooed away the pestering secretary who had a tendency to follow me everywhere I go.

Well, I can't blame her since it's her job but still, it's rather distracting to see such a beautiful face all the time. I was never comfortable being around girls so her being so attentive toward me, gives me the chills.

Even when she was smiling sadistically at my bloodied body when I was on the verge of death was beautifully showcased in the manga.

Well, Ciel isn't my main concern at the moment.

The spar for which I am going to report in the Academy indoor dojo was for inspiring the first years by displaying the might that Third-years carry.

Originally, Seth used his skill to manipulate his opponent's movement and win the round since he wanted to impress Laila.

Seth needed to use his Soul Energy in the first place even though it wasn't allowed because of his lack of martial art training.

Since childhood, Seth mainly focused on becoming a mage and so his physical training was mostly sacrificed. The doting mother also didn't force him to learn even self-defense.

Seth did have a fine physique, but he doesn't know anything about martial arts at all.

'That's why he got trampled by the hero so easily… *sigh*'

I do have some experience in martial arts but the problem was the plot.
In the novel, Seth was matched with a mob so he easily won. But I am not gonna use any magic in this, in order to save myself from humiliation afterward.

But like what I have observed various things have been diverted from the main story.

So me pairing with someone else wouldn't be surprising.

'Just I hope, he doesn't get paired up with me… '

He won't be beaten around so don't worry.
I don't like hiding true abilities genre as well.
