"Please let me accompany you, President.,"
It was early in the morning when Seth was having his breakfast. Just like usual Ciel also arrived on time to fulfill her duties as a sincere secretary.
But unlike usual, Ciel didn't take her leave after dictating Seth's schedule for today. Rather she made a request that by no means, Seth expected.
Taking her personality from the novel he read in his last life, Ciel was portrayed as a completely machine-like character whenever she's around Seth.
It wasn't like it was her natural behavior. Rather, it was the countless scolding and reprimands she was directed at, which resulted in her being just a doll who knows only to obey not to speak suggestions.
So hearing this unexpected request, Seth was naturally startled but he didn't let it become evident and continued with his breakfast.
Ciel took the liberty to justify her plea as she spoke further in an expectant tone.
"It was suspected that someone was trying to reach your Records. If someone really is targeting the President then today would be the best day to confront you. It's not like I doubt the President's capability but if things somehow went south, at least I can shield you, right?"
Seth gave a stern look toward the excessively talkative secretary, making the latter zip up in an instant.
However, her words indeed created a ripple in Seth's mind. As she said, it was suspected that someone was targeting him. Another proof was his matching with Kevin in the spar.
It wasn't a massive event but if the real Seth would have to fight Kevin without soul energy then there was a high chance of the President losing a limb or two along with his pride.
And today, he has to deliver the re-evaluation test paper. Inside the school, it was not possible to attack him and the same goes for his mansion where resides deadly maids.
If someone could dare to target Seth then it would be the short journey from his Mansion to Academy.
**KRIK**
With an audible sound, Seth slid his chair before he got up after finishing his meal. Lara walked up to her master before she carefully helped her master with his blazer.
"Was the taste of your liking, young master?"
"Hmm."
As Lara helped him wear his coat, Ciel stood at her place frozen but her gaze never wavered. She strangely seemed determined today.
Seth didn't wait much longer before he started walking to the entrance of the mansion followed by his maids.
Ciel was perplexed for a second there but she also followed not so long after.
She knew if the President have to reject he would do it outrightly but by staying silent…
"Fufu~."

Seth didn't miss how mischievously his secretary giggled walking to his left but he would not point it at the moment. Let her have her moments. He would take it out by delegating a heavy amount of work to her.
Soon they reached the carriage where Seth halted and turned toward Ciel, with his left hand raised for Ciel to follow.
Ciel was utterly astonished yet impressed by the gesture as she took her President's hand and hopped inside the carriage with her silver hair dancing playfully even more.
The expressions of the maids weren't good but they knew how to mask their displeasure, especially Lara.
Seth took his bag from the head maid before nodding to her and the others as he also boarded the carriage as well.
""Have a great day, young master~.""
The group bid a melodious farewell to their master, as Seth directed the coachman to be moving not so long after.

'It's awkward… '
I did allow this girl to commute with me for today, but still, when being in such close proximity I couldn't take my eyes off her. I mean I am a healthy young man who hasn't grown accustomed to this world's aesthetics after all…
She's an otherworldly beauty for me sitting just some feet opposite. Her oceanic eyes which were glued on me were making it a little problematic for me to keep on staring outside. Not to talk about that bouncing thing inside her shirt. It is just too distracting for me to handle.
But well, not like I am gonna jump on her just because she was my second favorite in the game. I have a lot of use for her. I won't be trying anything silly and scare the child away.
'And after all, I have… '
"Prez…doesn't it seem…we are moving in a circle. "
I raised my brows since I didn't think she would catch up with that trick so easily. Worthy to be my secretary!
Sighing I leaned back on my seat before whispering in a weary tone.
"We are trapped ever since we boarded the carriage."
