Until now, we hadn't encountered any danger. Maybe this dungeon doesn't have any monsters.
That's what I hoped for… There were no cracks or any place where the air could come inside this dungeon. I'm just a ghost so I don't know if there is oxygen or not. Aya doesn't seem to have any trouble breathing so maybe dungeons have some kind of effect where they release oxygen.

We continued going deeper until I noticed some kind of light coming ahead of us. Did we make it to the outside? Hopefully, we didn't find any traps or monsters inside this place. I was a bit concerned, but thankfully, I was worried for nothing.
“Did we finally make it?” We both showed a face of joy the moment we noticed the light coming some meters away from us. But as we came closer to the light, we soon understood that we celebrated too early. On each side of the walls were two torches lighting the place. Even the place around there was a bit different from the cave-like entrance. The walls were flatand smooth. The same goes for the floor and the ceiling.
“I thought we made it out, but I was wrong…” She looked a little sad after noticing that we were still stuck inside this place. I possessed Aya and tried touching one of the walls.
“This wall is smooth” Aya was completely used on me possessing her. Her body and reaction were as if it was a normal thing for me to do to her. But Aya is right, the walls of this place were really smooth. This place looked really old and I was surprised that It had managed to remain this smooth without breaking.

Even the appraisal skill doesn't have that much information about this place. I don't know why the design of this dungeon is different now, but I think that this place isn't safe. But what other choice do I have right now?

Lv. 1 -> Lv. 2

My appraisal skill Leveled up? How? Leveling up requires earning experience through killing monsters, but ever since I got here, I kept getting random skills. Wait… maybe using the skills is also a way of earning experience! This world isn't a game so It doesn't have any rules about earning experience by only killing monsters. Let's try using the appraisal skill one more time.

The appraisal skill was showing more details now that it had Leveled up! So each time my skills level up, the more useful they become.
“Is something wrong Ghost-san? We've been staring at this wall for quite some time…” Oh right, I forgot that Aya can't see my skill. I showed her a thumbs up as I tried telling her that everything was okay.

Walking in this kind of place got Aya the chills. Her body was sweating a little as we continued walking forward. I still hoped that we'd never encounter a monster but things don't work like that here. Even if there weren't any monsters around this dungeon, Aya would eventually starve to death. And I don't want that to happen!
.
After some minutes of walking, I could feel Aya's legs becoming slower. Her thighs were aching a bit as she was trying her best to keep walking with me inside her body. We probably should take a break for some time. The floor wasn't that dirty so sitting down wasn't going to be a problem. I rested Aya's back on the wall while reliving all of her muscles by stretching.
“Hmmm!” She reacted from her muscles being relieved. She must have felt great from this kind of thing. Well, I also felt the same way as Aya so I already knew how she felt.
“Why are we stopping here, Ghost-san?” I got out of her body when she asked me this question. I looked at her while she looked back at me with her lovely eyes. I rubbed her head since I couldn't hold back. Her hair was soft as usual and her reaction was adorable as well.
“Hehehe” She giggled as she closed her eyes from having her head patted. Her cheeks were slightly red as well. If I had a heart, it would have skipped a beat from this kind of scene. But, I'm glad that Aya wasn't feeling uneasy about this dungeon. I don't want her to faint again from this kind of place. If she is going to become an adventurer, then she needs to overcome her fear of monsters. And I'm sure that after she levels up a bit, she can protect herself. I know that she can do it because she has the courage. I mean she came into a creepy old house alone and if she had never met me, she would have gone into the forest alone. Not everyone would have the same courage as Aya. That's one thing that made Aya better than anyone else.

Coming from the depth of this dungeon, I could hear the sounds of something jumping towards us. I wanted Aya to rest a little more, but I guess this was the limit of break time…
“Ghost-san, can you hear that?” It seems like even Aya can hear the noises which were coming this way. Coming into my field of vision was a dark and dirty small rabbit with a red rock on its forehead. I could feel that this rabbit wasn't the same as the rabbits I knew from earth. And by the looks of it, I knew that this rabbit wasn't here to greet us.
