Aya was in a dangerous situation and I wasn't sure how to save her. The vines were wrapping around her whole body as I was watching her. I couldn't do anything! I felt completely useless!

None of them are useful to me right now! I have nothing else other than possessing the enemy, but even that skill didn't work on those monsters. All of my skills are useless right now and I couldn't do anything at all. 

Fuck! I hate this! The only thing I could do was watch as Aya was getting sucked away by those things.

“--AGuh!!” But suddenly my head started hurting really bad and my body was feeling really heavy. I couldn't understand why, but I couldn't concentrate on anything at all. This was weird because I shouldn't be able to feel pain in this form.

“AAaaaHGGGHH!!” It hurts so much!! It felt like my soul was being burned alive by something while my vision was slowly darkening Into nothingness. I felt like I was slowly disappearing as if I never existed.

“A-aY-ya…” I couldn’t stay councois anymore and my spiritual form wasn't listening to me anymore. My spiritual form was slowly fading away together with my consciousness. 

Aya… Was the last thing I thought before losing consciousness.

My head felt empty and I couldn't understand what was happening to me. 

Where am I? What happened to me?

I was really confused and I couldn't gather my thoughts at all. It felt like everything was running away from me. Somehow I wasn't panicking about this and I felt really calm.

Why am I not panicking? Wouldn't someone panic in this kind of situation?

Somehow It felt like something was preventing me from realising something…

Wait… hold on! Where is this place?! 

I shouldn't be here should I?

Words? Am I even talking right now? All I can hear are my own thoughts so I don’t know. Why am I even struggling to know what happened? Maybe taking a quick nap right now would be better than having to understand my situation. Yeah, maybe that's a better option. I am feeling really tired and I really want to sleep.

I let my thoughts wander around as I let myself loose in my own sleep.

“♩ ♪hmmm mhhh ♫ ♬” What is that? A nice calming sound was coming around my ears. It sounded like someone was humming something really nice. It was a calming sound and really nice to listen to. 

Who is doing that?

“♩ ♪ mhhh nmm mhm ♫ ♬” It felt like these sounds were getting closer to me. And the closer this sound was getting, the better I could hear them. Even my surroundings were becoming brighter, blinding my eyes from this darkness which surrounded me.

“Ah! You’re awake ghost-san.” After my eyes got used to the brightness of the surroundings, I saw Aya looking at me from above. Am I laying on her lap?

Wait! What happened?! Ah! Right!!! The monsters! The vines! 

I immediately got up the moment I recalled what was about to happen to Aya.

“Ghost-san? Is something wrong?” But as I was trying to find the monsters that were about to devour Aya, I was surprised. Around me was a beautiful nature with a sun that shone all over the place. There was no sign of any monsters, and I couldn't find any traces from them being here.

What about Aya? Is she okay?! I went towards her and started checking if she was okay.

“W-wah! G-ghost-san! W-what are you doing?” She reacted from suddenly touching her like that. Her arms, legs, even her face didn't have any injuries at all. Actually, her face looked really clean as if she had taken a shower. I placed my hand on her face in order to check if she was okay. Her cheek was really soft and warm.

“Ghost-san…” Her voice became quieter as she was looking at me with her lovely eyes. Her cheeks were becoming a little red from me touching her. She didn't have a single scratch on her face, not to mention that she had woken up. I was confused because I couldn't understand what had happened. What happened to the monster plants? 

“Ghost-san…” She called out to me, snapping me back from my thoughts. I had forgotten my hand on her cheek when I was trying to understand what was going on. Aya looked healthy and clean at the same time which surprised me a little. Both me and Aya were sitting under the tree looking around this place.

Before I lost consciousness, this place was being filled with all kinds of plants that were coming towards Aya, but right now it was just a normal field with a nice looking nature.

Aya was being quiet right now and her cheeks were still a little red as we were in that kind of position. She came a little closer to me and leaned her body on my side.

Some minutes passed and we were still under that same tree, looking around. Suddenly I heard growling noises coming from Aya.

“Ah…” She reacted before getting up and looking around the tree. That's right, we still have to find something as a food source. But before I could realise, Aya started climbing this tree and grabbed a golden apple with her hands.

Huh! Aya wait, what if that thing is poisonous. That's what I wanted to tell her as I rushed towards Aya in order to stop her from eating it. But I wasn't fast enough, she already took a bite before I could stop her hand.

“G-ghusht-san?” She looked at me with a confused reaction when I stopped her from eating that apple. But after she swallowed the first bite of her apple, she said.

“Ah, you don't need to worry, this apple is delicious.” She showed a smile as she tried telling me about it.

Delicious?

“You see, I was feeling really hungry when you were sleeping so I already ate some of them.” She already ate some of them?! What if it takes longer for the poison to affect?!

I tried touching the golden apple in order to appraise it, but before I could do so, the skill activated.
