"W-what are you doing?" Aya's innocent voice asked as she was trembling a little.
And since I didn't want to rush with anything, I tried listening to what was going on first. I didn't want to accuse anyone without catching him in the act.
But just the thing of waiting any longer was making me angry.
"Ah, sorry. I didn't mean to scare you. I just didn't expect you to be in the same inn as me." Kaito calmly smiled at Aya as he was looking at her.
“....” Aya on the other hand simply averted her eyes away from him, not being able to directly stare back.
Aya is an introverted girl, so being cornered like this was making her feel really uncomfortable. She looked really troubled and afraid of that boy…
I couldn't resist anymore! That's when I had to take a step into this situation.
“By the way–”
“Aya, that's where you were.” I called out to her since I didn't like the fact that another guy was making Aya feel that uncomfortable.
“H-Hiroki!” Aya’s face brightened in relief the moment she saw me coming towards them.
While Kaito on the other hand was simply looking at me with the same kind of expression on his face.
“You were taking a while, so I got a little worried. So I came looking for you. ” I explained as Aya immediately came and hugged me. She was gently tightening her thin arms around me after I noticed that Kaito wasn't doing or saying anything yet.
“You must be the party leader?” And after a moment of enjoying Aya’s sweet hug, Kaito finally decided to speak.
“Aya, you should head back to our room. I think Theresa had something to tell you.” Aya looked up at me with her adorable eyes while leaning her chin on my chest and her arms still around me.
“Okay!”
And after making sure that Aya was inside the room, I simply looked back at Kaito who still didn't seem bothered by anything at all.
“I wouldn't really call myself a party leader, but if that's what you're aiming for, then yes. I am. ”
My relationship with Theresa and Aya is a bit more difficult to explain, but telling someone like him was much easier to just say that I am the party leader.
“I watched you and your party from a distance and I have to say that you had some interesting way of holding off those monsters..”
I'm sure that this guy definitely wants something here. But whether it was to harass Aya or do something else…. I still had to keep my eyes on him.
I didn't want to rush yet since this guy wasn't someone I wanted to mess with.
“If that's all you had to say, then I'm going back to my room.” I turned around without a care about him and pretended to leave that hallway.
“Is that how you treat your savior?” He asked before I could even leave from there.
This guy definitely won't leave us alone…
I stopped and turned around once again. “You already got your reward from the guild, so does it really matter what some low ranked party like us says? I'm sure you wouldn't even care who you save for as long as you earn money, isn't that right?”
He let out a troubled sigh and looked back at me with the same kind of friendly smile on his face.
“I'm not that kind of person who’d simply ignore someone in need of help if they don't have money. So don't think so lowly of me.”
That's what they all say, but deep down they all have something they want on their minds. Whether it be gold, reputation or love…
If he’s the kind of person he says he is, then wouldn't he be considered a hero?
“You keep trying to extend this conversation by saying unnecessary things to someone you don't even know. There must be something that you want to tell me, right?”
There was a gap of silence between us after I asked that kind of question to him. And based on the sudden change in the atmosphere, I was right.
“You know… the wind is troubled today…” He said as he looked out the window. “If someone isn't strong enough in this world, then it won't be surprising if they died.” His voice was also calm while talking in a puzzled way to me.
But I already knew what he was trying to tell me…
“....” So basically, watch your back or you’ll die!
“But… I have to say that you are the first guy to ever talk this calmly to me.” I could feel a slight killing intending coming from him, but I decided to not react since I knew that I wasn't going to die if he were to suddenly try and kill me.
“So I'm gonna say this to you…” The atmosphere around him grew darker as he began walking away from this hallway where light could no longer touch him. “You should keep an eye open during the night. You’ll never know what might happen in this kind of world.”
Those were the last words I heard before he went back to his own room.
And I was right, he basically wants to get rid of me just like most of the thieves and criminals that live in this world. But there was one thing that he didn't know…
I don’t have limitations such as sleep or tiredness like humans do… so if that bastard decided to have a late night visit, I won’t hesitate to commit suicide while possessing his body.
.
..
…
Both Aya and Theresa were soundly sleeping together, that's why I didn't try to make any noise that would suddenly wake them up.
I miss having the feeling of sleeping like them, but right now there are things that are more important than that.
No matter what was going to happen tonight… I was going to be in full guard in case something was going to happen.
And while the night is long and quiet, I thought this was the right time to check out my new skills I got from that battle.

Name: Hiroki
Race: High Ghost
INT: 2,003
STR: 0
AGI: 0
VIT: 0
DEF: 0
Skills: < ... >
──────────
.
First of all, is my main status.
Since I’m only a ghost, the only thing that will increase in my main status is my INT. And I have to say that after killing many different monsters and criminals, it has reached triple digits and it keeps increasing rather faster than I would have expected.
When I first found out about becoming a ghost, I couldn't really understand what was going on with me, nor did I care about my own status.
With the bare minimum I tried figuring out my own status and skills, but in the end I failed in doing so.
Now that I think about it, I’m a bit surprised that I didn't try and experiment in those conditions. Or even tried getting out of there.
I simply gave up without even trying…
If I really had thought about it, I could’ve looked out of the window and tried scaring anyone who would look at this window. I would even use my Hollow voice to scare them. And after a while, I’m sure that one or even adventurers would try and investigate this house.
That way, I could try and sneak out or try possessing any of them before they could notice.
This was one of the options I should’ve thought about…
No, wait… It's not that I didn't want to think about this kind of idea… It's because I couldn't!
My INT was almost zero at that time to the point where I would even be considered mentally retarded.
I'm still surprised that I was even conscious about myself at that time. And that's when another question lies here…
How was that possible? What kept me mentally sane while being in that room? And why was I bound to that roo–
Wait! The room!
My very own soul was bound to that room, making it almost impossible for me to get down from there..
If something was keeping me inside there, then I’m sure that whatever was doing that, was also keeping me sane the whole time.
And what helped me get out of there was no one else other than Aya…
Now that I think about it, I’m glad that I wasn't able to think of such an idea, because in the end, I got to meet Aya.
Even though in this world she is considered an adult, in my common sense, she’s still just a kid who has gone through so much.
But neither of us gave up!
While she helped me get out of that room through possession, I also helped her back in order to join the adventurer’s guild.
And looking back, both of us had grown much stronger compared to that weak girl and that retarded ghost. We have changed so much.
But from now on, I don't plan on holding back anymore.
Using the new coffee business in this world, I plan on becoming successful so both Aya and Theresa can have a better life than they used to.
I can tell that people are loving this new drink, that's why I have confidence that it's going to sell.
But now that I am fully visible to everyone, there’s something that I always need to watch out for. And that is not being able to touch anyone else other than Aya and Theresa.
This world isn't advanced enough to see that I mean no harm to them, but if they learn that I’m a ghost, their reaction will be much worse than when Theresa first saw me.
That's why, no matter what, I should never let anyone touch me.
And that includes that guy who saved us…
Some might think but I'm overreacting… but even if he was kind, I can’t risk having Theresa and Aya injured…
But leaving that matter aside for the moment…
Whatever happened today in that battle to me, was something that I never planned on doing.
For a moment there, I lost control of my own emotions over those monsters.
While being in that kind of state, It almost felt like I was half asleep while being fully aware of what I wanted at the same time.
But what actually scares me the most…was the fact that I liked it.
I loved the feeling of massacring all of those monsters around me, and no matter how much I exhausted myself, I wanted to keep going!
Carrying that huge boulder, killing hundreds of monsters without a rest sucked my mental strength at an insane speed.
While a normal human would have collapsed from that amount of stress, I as a ghost only kept going without a rest.
The fact that I was possessing many other monsters and killing them at the same time, I was receiving the necessary strength by my own system of this status to continue fighting.
This might be bad if I continue to strain my mental strength to that kind of level once again. That's why I should keep a check on my status each time I feel tired, or things might turn really bad for me.
I remember Theresa calling me an evil spirit.
Maybe those evil spirits were ghosts like me who strained themselves too much, in the end finding themself insane from their power. I could understand why they wanted to grow stronger because I, myself, almost fell into that kind of euphoric desire of wanting to destroy everything around me…
“....”
Now that I think about it, I think I also got new skills from that battle.
.
────────────────────
<Enchanter> Lv. 45
Basic Information:
Thanks to this skill, you’ll be able to apply special effects on your weapon. Starting from sharpness, speed and swiftness! This skill is only available in physical form!
────────────────────
.
While I can't use this in my current form, I'm sure that it will come in handy one day while I possess Aya or Theresa. That is if I use it in a proper way.
It's level is already 45, so does that mean I already used it in that battle? I don't remember much about any of that though…
Also, I'm sure I only possessed monsters and I never held any kind of weapon. So how come that this skill leveled up this much?
Wait, I think I boosted my own possessed body! That is the only explanation I can come up with. That would also explain how I overpowered most of the monsters without dying too soon in the possessed body.
Is there some kind of restriction of not being able to enchant the physical body unless I'm insane?
“Haa…”
This is becoming kind of… harder I guess?
Not that I’m bothered by it, but I always wondered about the restriction of my own status.
At first I took it easy since my own status did not seem to be all that complicated, but as I was growing stronger, the more I started to believe that things won't be that easy any longer.
.
.
────────────────────
<Limitless!>
Basic Information: Taking levels and skills into another level is now possible! No limit will be placed on how much your skills can grow.
────────────────────
.
While I had a slight thought that I had some kind of limit in my system, I never knew whether it was true since my status never stopped growing.
But now, this kind of skill can actually help me grow a lot further than I can even think of. And with my bodiless form as a ghost, I will manage to get stronger without anything stopping me.
Alright, this is going to be another one of my goals. And if I’m lucky enough, I might achieve some kind of temporary physical form.
I’ve already gotten used to my ghost form, and I don’t want to always possess someone else in order to feel the warmth of life all the time. I actually want to have my own physical body.
Well, I should set this as another goal for my future self…
Lastly, is my appearance…
I actually never really paid attention to how I looked, that's why I simply didn't think about it too much.
When I first woke up as a ghost, I had my original clothes before I died back in my world. A simple dark gray t-shirt and some light trousers. But once I evolved into a high ghost, my clothes kind of changed as well.
Instead of wearing nothing on my feet, now I finally have a pair of black shoes, also a light gray jacket.
When I first saw my own reflection for the first time, it kind of felt weird… I think I have gotten a little more… handsome?
Maybe that's thanks to not having a physical body, removing any blackheads or unnecessary skin oil that damaged my face back on Earth.
One thing that made my appearance quite special compared to my human form, were my dark red eyes and white hair as a ghost.
If I look at it more closely, it doesn't feel weird at all, knowing from what kind of world I came from.

..
…
….
It was already noon and the girls were still deeply asleep.
I didn't want to bother them since I knew they were already tired from the battle we had yesterday.
Me on the other hand was looking out of the window as people would pass by, pretending that what happened yesterday was simply a bad dream.
Kids on the other hand were actually role-playing with each other as how a hero defeated all of those monsters and saved this city.
"Hope you're not trying to do something suspicious to those kids." Suddenly, I heard Theresa’s cold voice saying such words to me.
"I'm not that bad of a person to do such things to children though..." Tired from how she always doubts me, I dropped my shoulders as I let out a sigh.
But Theresa on the other hand simply smiled a little. "I know, I'm just messing with you."
Wha?!
That's the first time I have seen her smile like that…
But, I also felt glad that she still has warm emotions inside her. That also means that our talk yesterday must have softened her a little.
I smiled back at her as I gently looked at her calm look on her face. "I'm also glad that this misunderstanding about me got cleared up. I would actually be sad if you had continued treating me like that."
Theresa averted her eyes to her right, a little guilty about how she had treated me. "Yeah, sorry about that…"
But seeing that she no longer held any negative thoughts about me, took a huge load off my back.
"It's okay. I also was messing with you a little. I'm just glad that you are okay."
Her eyes widened a little as she clenched her own piece of cloth while trying to say something back at me. She almost felt like she couldn't bring herself to talk to me about something.
"About our party… now that I can trust you, i guess there's no need for me to—"

But before she could finish talking, I relaxed my eyes and looked at her with a gentle smile on my face.
"Should we eat something? I heard that this inn makes delicious food."
She looked a little surprised about interrupting her like that, but that reaction quickly faded away as her face was brightened up again with a smile.
"...You can't even eat in the first place."
After Theresa was ready, we went down to the first floor of this inn and ordered a few dishes.
Since I couldn't really eat, I was looking at her enjoying this fantasy like food.
I won't lie that I was a little jealous of not being able to enjoy such food on my own…
"I kind of feel bad that I'm the only one eating." Theresa said after noticing that I was staring at her.
"You don't need to be. While I no longer have the need to eat, I kind of like watching Aya or you enjoy eating. But if you really feel bad about me being unable to eat, then perhaps I should possess you and enjoy eating together." I smirked a little as I jokingly requested that idea to her.
But to my surprise, she was a bit quiet as she processed what I just said to her.
"Well, I can't say that I'm bothered by it. Besides… you didn't abandon me. This is the least I can do for you." Her eyes were a little restless as she was trying to keep her cool.
"I was joking. You don't need to repay me or anything. What I did back then, was simply a choice of mine. I chose not to abandon you because you are as important as Aya to me."
What I was telling to her was true since not only she is bound to my soul but also a good friend and comrade to Aya.
"...important?" Her cheeks were a little red in confusion about what I said.
"Yeah, if it weren't for you, who knows what might've happened to Aya. And what's worse, I would've never forgiven myself if I were late at that time when I saved Aya from that disgusting pig."
Just the thought of me being slightly late in that situation makes me rage in anger. And honestly, I don't know what I would've done if something were to happen to Aya.
"But still, it was thanks to you that both me and Aya were saved." She began explaining after seeing me clench my fist. "There’s no need for you to think what could’ve happened if you were late." Her eyes were slightly closed after noticing my behavior.
"You weren't late. Besides, you saved her. Isn't that what matters? You don't need to stress yourself over stuff that never happened."
Hearing this from Theresa felt a bit weird, but reassuring at the same time. Her gentle voice made me feel much calmer as I realized what kind of stuff I was putting myself into.
“I guess you are rig–”
Suddenly, the waitress of this inn came to our table and placed a plate with warm soup in front of me.
“I didn't order this.” I said to her confusingly before she could leave.
And I knew that Theresa didn’t order this since she already ate her courses of food.
“That's from the house. You only bought enough food for your girl, right? I don't know what your circumstances are, but stay strong.” She winked at me as she said that to us.
Wait, since Theresa was the only one eating, the waitress must have taken pity on me, thinking that I didn't have enough money to buy a portion for myself as well…
And based on how Theresa was currently giggling at me, we both knew that I wouldn't be able to eat it no matter how hard I tried.
"This is quite troublesome…" I said as I was thinking of a way to get rid of the soup without offending the waitress' kindness.
"Maybe we should give it to Aya. She barely ate anything yesterday, so a warm soup might help her recover her energy." Theresa gave her idea while trying to hold back from laughing at me.
"For someone who was mistaken as my girlfriend, sure talks a lot."
"I mean… it's not her fault for thinking like that. Not all adventurers act like us here." She covered her own eyes using hair as she quietly told me that.
And now that I was looking around, quite a few people were staring at us.
"Ah!? Hiroki, why didn't you wake me up as well!" Coming downstairs in a rush, came Aya with slight excitement in her face.
She also grabbed everyone's attention in the inn as well.
"A-ah, s-sorry…" And after realizing what she had done, she quietly walked towards our table and sat down in order to join us for breakfast.
"Hiroki, that's where you were." From our side also came a familiar voice which I was trying to ignore this whole time.
"Kaito." I looked back at him as his own party members were waiting behind him.
"Sorry if I'm bothering you. Do you mind if we join you as well?"
While Aya was eating the soup we had given to her, Theresa slightly nodded at me before looking back at Kaito.
"Actually, we're kind of in a hurry. There are few things that me and my party needs to deal with." And after seeing how Aya was about to finish eating, both Theresa and I prepared to leave.
"It won't take long." But he still insisted on trying to have a conversation with me. "I only wanted to ask if you wanted to join our party."
I quietly stopped moving and turned around once again, and saw the friendly face of that guy.
"What kind of benefits does our party take in this?" I asked while keeping my hands inside my jacket.
"The guild has recently asked us to explore a suspected territory. They've been getting different reports on how different adventurers would go missing without a trace. We believe it may be a monster that could even threaten an entire country. That's why me and my party discussed this and agreed on requesting your help for this one."
But even with the things he was saying, something doesn't really add up.
"Our party's rank barely reaches 'C', and Theresa is the only one who is ranked 'B' rank. So why aren't you searching for a more experienced and stronger party rather than us?" My eyes weren't flinching away from him as I didn't know when he would throw any sudden attack at us. But seeing how many people were around around us, I doubt he would be that stupid.
“No, I think your party is the one I’m looking for. ”
“Is there any particular reason for that?”
But as I was trying to refuse this guy's invitation, the more frustrated those girls behind him were getting.
“If they really want to reject husband's offer, then there’s no need to keep begging them.” The gray haired girl beside him spoke up with her emotionless voice.
“That's right Kaito. There’s no need to bother with those who are ungrateful for this wonderful offer.” The other girl on his other side also said as her amethyst eyes glared at me.
“That is indeed true. I don’t think I’m going to get along with someone who treats Kaito that way. So let's just go away and forget about these ignorant fools.” The calm looking priest said as she looked down on me as well.
I could see that Aya wanted to respond back to their harsh words about me, but I could see slight hesitation on her since these guys already saved our lives. Not to mention that they healed Theresa from her dangerous condition.
“Right… Let me apologize if I have bothered y–”
“There’s no need to apologize to them. Let's just go!” The red haired girl glared at me once again as she prevented Kaito from apologizing to me.
And after they were gone, I let out a sight.
I noticed that both Aya and Theresa were looking at me.
"Is something wrong?" I asked.
"I just… didn't like the fact how they treated you just because they saved us." Theresa looked down as she narrowed her eyes in a bit of anger.
"S-same! Hiroki is amazing and I don't like it when people look down on him!" Aya also said in a rush before realizing that we were being stared at by all of the other customers of the inn.
A quiet atmosphere was going around as some of them were even whispering to each other about us.
"Did we attract too much attention?" I asked myself as I noticed the waitress coming towards us.
"Are you guys…. acquaintances with that party?" The waitress asked in a little of disbelief.
"No, not really."
The waitress looked at me relieved as she let out a sight. "Is that so… Then if you want my advice, then I advise you to stay away from them as much as possible."
“Is there any reason for that?”
There was another gap of silence as that waitress looked back at the other customers who were looking at us.
After making sure that they weren’t looking at us anymore, the waitress leaned closer to us so that no one else could listen. “I don’t know how true this is but there are rumors going around about that party.”
“Rumors?” I repeated.
“Yes, rumors. I heard that they’ve actually destroyed an entire village with innocent people.”
So I was right to suspect that kind of guy. But if he really did such a thing, how come he got away with it? I’m sure that the guild or even the king wouldn't let this slide if there was such a threat coming from its own people.
“They did such a thing?!” Theresa clenched her fist after hearing about the massacre that they may have caused.
But we shouldn't go to the conclusion yet since this was just a rumor after all.
“Why would they do such a mean thing?” Aya also wondered as her voice was trembling a little.
“I’m not sure, but that's a rumor after all so there’s no real proof that they actually did that.”
“But is that enough reason for people to avoid them? I’m sure that a lot of people would actually have a grudge or even try to get rid of him if that were true.” I thought out loud as the waitress and the girls were looking at me.
“That's because there are many other rumors going around about them. Such as his skill to manipulate people, his unmatched strength as a swordsman and his heartless ways of killing someone. And that's not even half the rumors about them. There’s also a rumor about one of his companions being a slave. It gives me the chills just thinking about it. ”
So that's why some people would rather avoid him rather than trying to figure out whether that's true or not?
“If she was a slave against her will, then couldn’t she have asked for help?” I asked.
“Thats because of her slave seal. She can't refuse her master no matter how harsh her master’s requests may be.”
But none of those girls seemed like a slave to me? Actually, they were all defending and getting worked up about it. Or was that his orders to act like that?
Well, not that it matters anymore since today we plan on going into a different inn.
“Thank you for the information.” I said to her as we were getting ready to leave from here.
“Not at all, just be sure to visit this inn again. ” The waitress smiled as she greeted us before we could walk out of this place.
And now as we were on our way to the guild, Aya and Theresa were unusually quiet as they seemed to have fallen in deep thoughts.
“Hiroki…” Theresa suddenly called out to me.
“Hm?”
“If Kaito really is that kind of guy the rumors say, then why did he save us?”
I could see that she also began having doubts about him as well.
Well, there’s no wonder why she would be suspicious of him since there are many things that I find weird about that guy.
And one of those things is that this guy wasn't someone we can underestimate.
“Who knows…”
After we arrived at the guild, we immediately went to the receptionist who asked us to come here.
“Ah!? You came!” She smiled in relief the moment she saw us.
“Well, you did ask us to come here.” I replied back to her. “Besides, we still haven't received our reward for killing some of the monsters.”
“Some? Hahahaha! You are so humble! If it wasn't for you and your party holding off all of the monsters, then this entire city would be done for.” Her face grinned a little as she said that to me.
“Anyway, here’s your reward.” She placed a full bag of coins on the desk, making a heavy cling sound. “There’s around one hundred gold coins in there, so be careful on how you keep them. But knowing your party’s performance in the battle, then there’s nothing to worry about.” She happily said as I got the bag of coins and put them inside Aya’s dimensional pocket.
“Is that the magic storage I’ve heard about?” She asked after she saw the bag of coins disappear inside Aya’s cloak.
“Yeah, now if you’d excuse us.” I said as we prepared to leave.
“W-wait a moment! There’s still something I'd like to ask of you.” The receptionist's troubled voice called out to us once again before we could leave from this guild.
“The guild master wants to meet you. If you don’t mind, do you have some spare time to come and meet him?” She asked as she was trying to force a smile on her face so she wouldn’t offend us.
“What do you think?” I turned around and asked the girls beside me.
“I don’t mind.”
“At least listening to what the guild master has to say doesn't really bother me.” Aya and Theresa responded back to me.
“Alright, lead us to him.”
“Of course, please follow me this way.” A relieved smile appeared on her face the moment me and my party members agreed on following her.
Even though many other adventurers were gathering up around the guild to take their own rewards from the battle yesterday, this receptionist took the time to walk away from there and show us the way to the guildmaster.
Not that I was surprised but something bothered… The guildmaster must want something from us.
If I had to guess, then It must be some kind of special quest specifically for us.
“Guildmaster! I brought them as you asked.” The girl spoke a little loudly after knocking the door where the guildmaster was supposingly staying.
“You may bring them inside.” The deep voice of a man responded back to the girl.
The girl opened the door for us to walk inside, only to find that the room was completely empty.
“Eh? Guild master–” The girl confusingly called out to him as he was nowhere to be seen.
But of course, that guy was about to attack me right from above.
A long slim sword came towards me with the intention of actually killing me.
“What is the meaning of this?!” Theresa said after she immediately blocked the attack using her sword.
“H-Hiroki!” Aya worriengly called out to me.
“G-guildmaster!!!??” The receptionist girl was just as confused about this guy’s action as well.
“Hump!” He pushed himself away from Theresa after seeing how his sword couldn't manage to get me.
“Sorry if I startled you.” The guildmaster said as he placed his sword on his desk. “I did this only to test something.”
“So you test someone by trying to kill them? That's some way of greeting, I gotta say that…'' My eyes didn't budge away from him as I continued glaring at him.
“I’d like to apologize once again.” The guildmaster bowed. “That was just a selfish act I wanted to test.” The guildmaster cleared up his throat before continuing to explain. “And as I said before, I only did that because I wanted to ask you to complete a special quest for me. If you hadn't dodged my attack just now, then you’d basically die in that quest.”
So I was right about him giving us a special quest.
“Maya, you may leave for now.”
“Yes, guildmaster!” The receptionist slightly bowed before going out of the room and closing the door.
“Please, make yourself comfortable.” The guildmaster moved his arm towards the sofas after seeing that we were still standing.
After we sat down, I noticed that Theresa was still glaring at the guildmaster as she had placed her own sword somewhere near her hand.
“So, I’m guessing that this quest must be something really dangerous if the guildmaster is requesting it?” I asked as I leaned forward a bit.
“Precisely.” He responded back. “But this is something that you won’t be able to back out once you agree and hear any more details. Are you sure you want to hear more?”
The room became quiet as no one said another word.
Even I, was thinking this through while glancing at Aya and Theresa.
And it was understandable that they would feel troubled since, not only does this sound shady but also very dangerous.
"I can see that you are having doubts about this, that's why the guld is willing to offer more than 1,000 gold coins if you accept." The guildmaster crossed his fingers together and looked back at us.
"A t-thousand gold coins?" Aya's eyes widened in shock when she heard the amount of money for this quest.
“Or ten times more the reward if you are successful.” The guildmaster added, making Aya’s excitement go crazy.
Every time we would receive rewards, Aya would get excited each time. Sometimes she would even refuse to get a part of the money since they are too much, leaving all of her money to me to spend.
Sometimes I feel like Aya is way too kind…
"That is indeed a very attractive offer but.." I gently rubbed Aya's head so she would calm down from the shock. And each time I would rub her head, her cheeks blushed a little as she began moving her head on her own so she could get more rubs from me.
"Why did you ask us to do this kind of quest? I'm sure that there are many more adventures that have higher ranks than we do." I relaxed my eyes, making my own pupils shrink to its smallest form.
"You don't need to worry about that. I already have asked a few capable adventurers so you won't be on your own." He explained in one breath before continuing to talk. "And regarding your rank. Starting from now on, our guild will change all of your guild ranks to at least 'B' rank."
This will basically make Aya pass quite a lot of ranks with ease.
[Theresa, what do you think?] I telepathically asked Theresa while that guy was waiting for my response.
[From what we know right now, this does sound dangerous since we still don't know what we'll be doing. The reward doesn't appeal to me as it has no real value compared to our lives.] Theresa crossed her arms together as she explained.
[I think so as well.]
[But if people are in danger then I would like to take part in this special quest.]
[I understand. What about you Aya?] I turned my head towards her as I asked.
[If Hiroki is okay with it, then I also agree!] Her angelic voice flew through my head as a bright smile appeared on her adorable face.
"Seems like you've made up your mind." The guild master spoke up once again with a grin on his face after seeing me and the girls quietly stare at each other.
"Yeah, please tell us more about this quest."
