Hiroki’s POV!
—————————
Many were going through different possibilities on their heads while trying to maintain a poker expression.
“The lord? But wasn't he being used by demons?” A proud red haired girl asked as she folded her arms together.
“I don’t know how much you know about demons but… let me ask you this, do you really think that demons would risk having the most important person in the town untouched?”
“That's true… it's weird to think that demons left only one human with free will.” Theresa responded back to me, her fingers unsettled while trying to contain all of the anger she had inside.
“But didn’t they let him free because he was useful to them?” Aya innocently asked, unable to understand the reason behind the lord’s evil manipulation.
I simply rubbed Aya’s head before explaining everything. “I only spied on some of the demons for a few moments, but I am confident to say that I know what kind of personality they hold. Demons only care about themselves and no one else. Not even their own race, that's why it's weird that they would trust one human who holds so much power over a whole town.”
I glanced my eyes towards everyone while trying to contain an expressionless look on my face. “I’m not sure how they did it, but from the lord I could definitely feel a great presence of a demon.”
“Alright, but now that we know who the leader of these demons is… how do we begin our attack? Because we can't just rush into the mansion and attack him. Civilians will definitely get involved!” Theresa voiced her thoughts as we were trying to think of a plan.
“That's why we need to stop the source of the mind's corruption. Because if we don’t, we won't have any other choice but to face every single human in this town.” Kaito spoke with his piercing eyes which didn't seem pleased at all.
“We don’t need to worry about that.” I grabbed everyone’s attention once again after carefully thinking about this. “I have a plan!”

—————————
Some hours had passed since Hiroki explained his plan to the rest of the party members.
Right now, Hiroki was on stand-by somewhere near the gate of the town without being noticed by any of the guards, while Theresa and Yelena were knocking out all of the guards who were trying to find all of the kids which had escaped.
After she made sure that every guard was safely unconscious and somewhere away from the gate, Theresa made a hand sign from afar to notify Hioki about the guard’s conditions.
Kaito and the red haired woman had already entered the town’s territory together with Aya which helped them sneak inside without causing a ruckus.
After Kaito and the woman beside him were far enough from the rest of the guards, they decided to separate from Aya.
“Aya, are you sure about this?” Asked Kaito in concern as both he and the red haired woman hesitated to leave the innocent looking girl alone.
“Don’t worry. I choose to do this because I know that Hiroki needs me.” The confident white haired girl responded, not separating her eyes from them.
Kaito let out a sigh before preparing himself to walk into a different path from Aya, together with the red haired girl beside him. “I understand. Even if the worst thing were to happen… I’m sure that Hiroki would do something about it.”
“Good luck.”
Both Kaito and the girl beside him sprinted away from Aya.
And as she looked at those two, Aya took a deep breath before clenching her own fist.
“Let's do this!”

Walking down the main path of the road was a certain demon, walking together with a smug looking one which seemed really eager as it was keeping both of his hands behind his head.
“Hey” The younger one called out.
“Hm?”
“Do you feel bored with the same kind of meals every day?”
The other demon looked down at the foolish question before looking straight ahead with an annoyed expression.“No, why do you ask me that?”
“Isn't it obvious?! Human flesh in this town tastes really bland to me now…” The young demon complained as he kept the same kind of attitude towards the other one. “I kind of want to try those higher class ones. Like a cute little girl from a noble class, or maybe a busty one-chan. That makes me really hungry just thinking of it!”
“You do understand why we are doing this? Or are you perhaps disobeying orders?” A killing intent, filled with nothing but annoyance and anger replied to the younger demon.
“Man… at least let me enjoy my own fantasies…” The younger demon replied back as he let loose of his arms. “I mean we’re already really strong, so why do we have to eat those plain humans in this town?”
The other demon only closed his eyes for a moment as a way to contain his emotions inside him.
“I do agree that we could have handed some humans to the weaker ranks…. But we can’t disobey orders, that's why we do what we’re told.”
“That sucks…” The younger demon narrowed his eyes as he said that. “Demons above our ranks really do have it easy…”
“...”
“They get to do whatever they want once they get the chance to take over a human territory…”
The older demon narrowed his eyes. “They would be well respected if they weren't lunatics.”
The boy let out a sigh. “Yeah… I wonder what they find fun in fooling around with humans. I mean it's fun to see them in despair, but they take it too far. It's just not fun anymore if it's the same thing over and over again.”
Both of them fell into their thoughts before the younger one decided to speak once again.
“Why don’t we try and take over this territory? I heard that the one who’s in charge of this place is from one of the weakest ranks.”
But no responde came back. The only thing that could be heard was the rumbling noises of the rage from the older one. [That wouldn't be the case if the one in charge of our leadership wouldn't be the craziest of them all. I heard that she likes taking over human bodies just to have fun with other humans.]

At the biggest mansion in this town stood a certain lord in his room while keeping a high head as he looked outside his window.
And with his eyes that could even pierce through any kind of obstacle, the lord walked outside his room and headed towards another location where his dining room was being prepared for him.
And as soon as his food was ready to be ravished by the lord, he looked at all the servants.
"Leave the room." Closing his eyes, the calm looking lord took a bite out of the food on his table as he ordered all of his servants.
All of the servants quietly left the room without asking or making any sound to disturb the lord.
And now that the room was completely empty, the lord continued enjoying his food before he closed his eyes once again in relaxation.
“You can come out now.”
It took some seconds before a wind moved the curtains near the window, revealing that Aya was stealthily hiding herself in there without being noticed until now.
“You have white hair just like that boy, yet you aren't a demon?” The lord mused as he looked up at the girl who was standing in front of the lord with doubtful eyes. “Why haven't you left the city yet?”
A gulping sound was heard before Aya took a small step forward.
“Me and my party just rescued all of the kids who were locked in the prison.” The girl took another small breath as she looked with uncertain eyes at the lord. “They are safe somewhere outside the town, and we have a plan to defeat all of the demons that have caused this.”
"Those kids were probably injured, how did you get them out? All of the guards have been looking all over the place and couldn't locate where they went." The lord wondered as he kept the same look on his face.
"A priest in our group healed all of them. She used to live in this town and knew all of the secret paths in this place." Aya's eyes never separated from the lord’s one. "That's why I'm here to get you out of this place. You don't have to listen or obey those demons anymore."
The lord lowered his head for a bit as his eyes widened in surprise. But he wasn't angered or annoyed by the girl's arrival at his mansion. No, he looked relieved and happy that he got this kind of chance to get out of there.
"There are many eyes all over my mansion, are you sure you'll be able to get me out of this town?" The lord asked, his voice containing a glimpse of hope.
"Yes! I managed to easily sneak inside here. It won't make a difference when we come out." Aya confidently said as a flashback from Hiroki’s plan was flashing through her head in an instant.
**
"Aya, listen carefully. I know that you volunteered to do this, but you should be careful of your surroundings since I won't be with you this time." Hiroki advised the confident young girl.
"I already know that!" Aya responded, sounding almost like a child who wanted to convince its own parents.
"Alright… I'm sure that the lord or any of the demons won't attack you even if they spot you, that's why I agreed on this."
Kaito and the rest of the group stared at Hiroki with puzzled faces at what he said.
"Why won't they attack, or at least capture Aya?" The girl beside Kaito asked, unsure about this plan.
Everyone started at Hiroki, waiting for an explanation of what made him so certain that they wouldn't attack Aya.
"It's simple. Demons are smart creatures, that's why they won't simply attack Aya. There's a chance that they'll at least try to capture her, but Aya should be able to escape from them." Hiroki began explaining as he looked at Aya. "They'll try to follow Aya for as long as they can so they can find where the rest of us are hiding. After all, we did just rescue all of the kids they had left in the prison."
Many nodded their heads in agreement to Hiroki’s explanation, before the white haired boy looked at Aya with a serious expression.
"Aya, I want you to convince the lord into coming out of the town’s borders. Do you think you can do that?"
Aya clenched her own fist for a second as she was looking at the boy she admired and loved with passion.
"Leave it to me!"
End of flashback.*
**
A few seconds had passed after the whole plan flashed in Aya’s mind.
"I never thought that a day would come where a young girl would save me…" A small, forced smile appeared on the lord’s face. "But I don't plan on giving up this town."
"That's why I'm getting you out of here. The demons are keeping you here for a reason. We'll keep you safe in our main base where the rest of us are waiting." Aya stared at the lord with a confident look.
"I understand… then we need to hurry before any of the guards and servants notice my absence."
.
..
…
Quietly running on the side of the street were Aya, followed by the lord who was keeping an expressionless look on his face.
But what made the lord uncertain about their position, was that there were no guards wandering around the streets. It was almost as if they were opening their way for Aya to lead the way to their main base.
But as they were on their way out of the town, the lord stopped before he could step right out of there.
“Huh? What happened?” The white haired girl asked in a bit of confusion as soon as she noticed that the lord wasn't running behind her anymore. “We need to move before we are spotted!”
“You don’t seem fazed at all that there are no guards on the streets…” The lord quietly said as he took a look at the puzzled, yet uncertain expression on Aya’s face.
“L-lord-san?” A gulping sound was heard from Aya before she could speak once again. “I don't know what happened, but isn't this our chance to escape?! We need to move before we are spotted!”

The lord narrowed his expression in suspicion. “I have to say…”
Aya’s heart began to beat a lot faster as sweat was dripping down her head. She knew that standing right there any longer would make things much harder for the plan to continue, that's why she wanted to try anything to make the lord step outside of the town.
“We don’t have time to waste! P-please, follow me! We’ll be safe at our base with the rest of us!” The girl requested once again as she was looking that the lord didn't seem to want to move from that spot.
“...You are pretty good at lying.” The lord continued saying without even listening to Aya’s words.
Aya’s eyes widened from the sudden change in the way the lord was speaking. She was speechless and a bit scared from the way things were going. But giving up right now was something that she didn't want to happen.
“W-what are you talking abo–”
“Stop playing dumb little girl!” The lord snapped back at Aya as he touched his own chin while a malicious smile was forming on his face. “So you figured out where I was this whole time? I thought that I was pretty good at becoming like this fat human.”
“...” Scared by the sudden change of the lord, Aya’s hands could be seen trembling as she tried hiding them behind her back.
“But too bad.” The lord snapped his fingers in the air as he spoke to the girl. “I can smell your fear from miles away, little human.”
But whatever that lord was waiting to happen after he snapped at his fingers, nothing happened. The tension between the girl and the lord were becoming much denser, and confusing to the lord as well.
“Hm? Did they not hear me?” The lord questioned himself as he snapped his fingers once again.
But once again, nothing happened. The lord remained in the same position while Aya was staning some meters away from him with a bit of frightened look on her face.
“You!!” The lord glared at Aya. “What did you do?!”
But before he could get an answer from the tight lipped girl, he noticed something moving from above the houses and gate.
“I don’t think any of your slaves will help you right now.” And the one to respond to the confusing looking lord, was none other than Hiroki who immediately went by Aya’s side.
From another high ground were also Kaito and the red haired girl beside him, while some meters behind the lord was Theresa who’s eyes were glaring in anger.
Seeing how the lord was surrounded, his eyes darkened as he slightly lowered his head, blocking any light from looking at his expression right now.
“I see… so it was all planned out to bring me here.” The lord quietly said to himself as another evil looking smile appeared on his face. “Kekekeke….Hahahahahahahhaha!!!”
The lord laughed as hard as he could while veins could be seen on the white part of his eyes.
“To think that I was almost fooled for a moment.” His fingers began moving in an unhuman way while releasing some cracking noises from his bones. “But I have to thank you all for coming to me. This is going to be easier to deal with.”
“The only thing you're going to be dealing with, is this!” Theresa threatened as she swung her sword towards the lord, only to end up cutting air as her target had moved away from his position.
“Ts. ts. Not so fast.” The lord smirked as around everyone approached several hooded individuals, trying to prevent any of us from getting away from this place. “If you wanna come to me, then you should have brought more of you, humans.”

Hiroki’s POV!
—————————
Our plan would’ve gone really well if it wasn't for that demon not taking the bait for a bit longer.
With the look of a human, and the aura of a demonic being, it stood between us while more demons were approaching us.
But thanks to everyone, all of the humans around this area were safely knocked out and hidden somewhere far from here.
We still don’t know the exact numbers of demons that were in this city, but from what I could guess, then there aren't that many.
I wouldn't even be surprised if the only demons that were in this town were the ones around us.
The hooded demons jumped towards us, only to end up sliced to pieces.
“You seem to be underestimating us a bit too much, you filthy demon.” And the one behind this overkill was none other than blacked eyed boy who also couldn't hide the fact that he was angry at him.
The red haired girl also had killed some of the demons that seemed to be hiding in the shadows of the streets, away from the battle that ended in an instant.
The lord looked a bit unfazed by the sudden turn of the tables. “This really was unexpected.” The lord whispered under his breath. “I was told that no troublesome adventurers were coming in this town… at least not yet.”
But thanks to my good hearing, I managed to hear what that demon was saying to himself. “That is true. But your filthy plan on killing any adventurers that were coming this way, failed the moment it was ‘us’ who you decided to kill.”
“Wait, you don’t mean… you are?” The demon in the skin of a fat lord asked in disbelief as he noticed that all of my party members were backing away from me and him.
“I won't lie that I’m a bit impressed by how you managed to brainwash that many wyverns, but as I said before... That plan failed the moment you targeted all of us at the same time.”
The lord’s eyes stared at me for a moment, a glimace a fear could be sensed off him as I was slowly walking closer to him.
“And you see, I’m a little pissed right now.” All of the rocks and dirt I could find began floating in the air without a care as some of them were passing through my body. “So I hope that you won’t die that easily.”
“You’re just damn human! Don’t get cocky with m–”
I wasn't interested in listening at all to what this demon was going to say, that's why I sent him flying by throwing many projectiles towards his body, bruising his skin and ripping apart most of his clothes.
“Ghaa!! Y-you!” The demon let out a pained voice as blood started coming out all over his body.
And now that he was nowhere near close to the town, all of us could fight him without holding back at all.
“You demons have caused a lot of damage.” The one to first speak in our group was Kaito after seeing that everyone was here.
Even Yelena seemed to be growling at the lord as we didn't plan on letting him escape from us that easily.
“You tortured and killed innocent children.” Theresa glared in anger as she was clenching her own sword, ready to bring justice to the evil that had touched many lives.
“You hurt many people.” Aya also added, her eyes not separating away from the demon in a human’s skin.
“And you won’t leave this place in one piece!” Even the red haired girl beside Kaito was really angry with her eyes that had nothing else but killing intent in them.
“And to top it off… you hurt my women!” I levitated a sharp object off the ground as I was ready to make many holes in his body.
Both Aya and Theresa flinched for a moment, but their eyes immediately were directed back to the demon who wasn't doing anything yet against us.
“You insolent humans! You are nothing but experience to us!”
I raised a brow at what this demon was calling humans in this world. This actually would explain many things about the way demons acted, but this could lead to many more questions that I had to get out of this demon before we kill him.
“So you demons have a system as well?” Kaito suddenly asked after realizing how these demons might have a very similar way of our power.
The demon stood still for a moment as his eyes widened while looking at Kaito. Then a smirk appeared on his face as if he had found something really interesting.
“Do you think this is funny?!” Theresa snapped back at him.
“I found one!” The demon said as his eyes dimmed in amusement. “He will surely reward me when he hears this.” He continued muttering under his breath.
But since I didn't like how he was acting, I decided to deal more injuries on his body so he would take us more seriously rather than still looking down on us.
Or that's what I was hoping would happen before around thirty more demons began charging towards us with different weapons in their hands.
“Aya! Watch ou–” Some of them even were aiming for Aya at an incredible speed.
But when it came to Aya’s speed, they couldn’t even manage to scratch her.
Even though I knew that she had gotten much stronger, I still felt really worried about Aya.
I need to begin trusting her more or I’ll be a drag to everyone when something dangerous happens.
“Don’t worry! I will deal with them!” Aya confidently said to me after landing at the top of a tree with a smile on her face.
I smiled back at Aya after throwing dirt on many of the demons' eyes around me. And finding this as an open chance, Theresa and Aya knocked them out by damaging the back of their heads since their swords couldn't manage to cut through their skin.
“You damn humans!!” One of the demons yelled as he immediately charged towards Aya in rage at how his friends were knocked out like that.
But without making myself wide open, I quickly possessed its body and tried to attack back the other demons.
While being inside him felt really uncomfortable, I also couldn't see his own status, not to mention that controlling this body was stiff.
"W-what… hap..pened." He was forcefully trying to get back control as I began noticing how different it was to possess something else instead of a monster or a human.
But without wasting too much time, I grabbed two other demons on each of my side and paralysed their bodies with all I could, leaving them wide open for the upcoming attacks from Aya and Theresa.
And after cleaning up all of the demons on our side, I noticed that Kaito and the girl beside him were done as well.
Now what was left was the demon who still didn't change his provoking smirk on his face.
"I don't think we'll get any answers from him." I said as I noticed the insane expression that was forming on his face.
That's why I borrowed one of the demon swords lying on the ground and cut open his abdomen, making some of his guts spill out of his body.
Even though I didn't intend to make it gruesome, I felt Aya holding her own hand over her mouth as she tried to not puke, while some of the others simply narrowed their eyes at the sight in front of them.
But it wasn't over since I still could feel that demon inside that fat piece of flesh.
And in an instant, more blood and organs of his body began blowing outside of there as if they were being shot by a cannon in the sky.
"Kekekekkekeke! Hahahahhahahah" The same kind of broken villainous laugh was heard inside the dead body as some dark bloody arms were stretching out of there.
"E-ek!" Aya shut her own mouth as she looked away at the thing that was coming out of its body.
But the rest of us still tried being cautious as none of them wanted to approach that bloody place.
"Hahahahahhaha, kekkekekekeke, hahahhahah!!" And in the next second, we realized how a full demon came outside of a body like that.
Even though that physically shouldn't be impossible, that demon had managed to fit inside that human without killing him.
"So that's how you were possessing him?" I asked as I saw how that demon was inside a human.
Right in front of us was a dark skinned demon with bloody gray hair. We didn't notice it because of its voice, but from the massive bare looking breasts, this one was a female demon.
But now that this demon was outside… I knew that it wasn't someone to be underestimated.
This demon was definitely dangerous!
