"How did you get here?" Calvin asked while eating a sandwich he bought in the cafeteria.

"I tracked your scent." Ygor said.

Calvin smirked at him. "Are you sure you're a dragon? You're more like a dog."

Ygor threw the lunchbox at Calvin and it hit his stomach. "Aw, dude."

For some reason, both of them felt tired to bicker. Calvin is still starving and Ygor's feet were sore from all the walking he did and from using a lot of his mana.

"Well, since you are out here already. Might as well look for a job suitable for you?" Calvin suggested.

Ygor then remembered something. He quickly sat up from the bench and rummaged through all of his pockets.

When he found the card, he handed it to Calvin. "Work!"

Calvin furrowed his eyebrows and scanned the card. "Hmm? What is this?"

"Yeah, so when I was walking earlier a woman asked me if I want to work. She gave me that and told me to give her a call." Ygor explained.

"Do you use pigeons?" He asked.

Calvin shook his head. "No, we use this." Then showed his smartphone.

Ygor remembered the girls pointing the black box towards him earlier.

So, were they calling me earlier?

"Anyway, I told you not to talk to strangers. It's dangerous."

"You said not to follow them."

"Haaa." Calvin sighed.

"So, are we going to look for a job now?"

He nodded. "Yeah."

"Don't you still have classes? Earlier you said you'd be back when the sun is down."

Calvin stuffed the lunchbox in his bag and stood up. "Nah, it's just some useless club stuff. Let's go."

Ygor followed him. "Hey, so am I going to work there?" He pointed at the card using his mouth.

Calvin looked at the card again. "Let me check this first, we don't know if it's a scam."

"Hmm." Ygor just hummed as a response.

They stopped in front of the entrance and waited at a bus stop.

"What are we doing here, human? Aren't we going to walk? We won't get to where we want to go if we stand here."

"This is called a bus stop. We need to ride a bus if we want to go home and check this company." Calvin explained.

Calvin could just imagine himself passing out not even reaching half of their route. The dragon really has a different body and insane strength to be able to walk that far and still have energy.

"Oh! Is it the big thing with wheels on it? I saw one earlier. People are coming in and out of it."

"I'm not sure what you're specifically talking about but that is probably it."

As they waited for a bus, Ygor continued telling Calvin everything that he saw while walking while Calvin listened and explained some things.

Even when they got on the bus, Ygor would look through the window and ask Calvin almost everything like a child. Calvin was able to put up with it this time because he's low on energy and he understood the guy's situation.

When they arrived at the apartment, the door was not locked. When they walked in, what welcomed him inside were the scattered papers on the floor.

Calvin picked up a few of them. "Did you solve this?" He asked Ygor.

"Oh yeah, I found a book right there."

"There are so many...did you study the whole book?"

"Yeah, I was getting bored. Ah~ beeeed!" Ygor flopped down on the bed as he answered.

Yes, he is a nerd. But he's not so much gifted with intelligence. It's also the reason why he put so much effort into his studies to not fail any subject. He cannot afford to lose his scholarship because his salary from his part-time job can only cover his living expenses.

Calvin looked at the messy handwriting. If you look at it from afar, it's like a creepy death threat or something.

"What pen did you use? I might need to throw that out." He said while checking the pencil holder on his desk.

"I didn't know what kind of pen you have here so I had no idea what to use."

"Ha? Then this is..." Calvin immediately dropped all the papers.

"You clean it up!" He told Ygor as he shivered.

Give him cockroaches or even spiders just never blood. It doesn't matter if it's fresh, or dried. Blood is still blood.

He doesn't like it when he gets wound that bleed even just a little. A nosebleed is even worse for him during summers and PE classes. Once he notices the blood, he'll just drop dead and lay flat on the ground until somebody sees him and bring him to the infirmary.

After all, trauma from childhood is not a joke.

For some reason, Ygor obediently cleaned the whole mess. Calvin went to the bathroom to change his clothes. When he got out, he saw Ygor on the bed watching T.V.

He took the card and turned on the computer. "Hey, teach me how to do that."

Ygor popped up beside him. "This is called the computer. Unlike the T.V. it doesn't have a remote."

"This right here is the power supply. You turn this on first, then you press this button on the CPU."

Ygor nodded. "Small box first, then big box."

Calvin shook his head. "No, power supply and CPU."

"Um, power supply and CPU"

"That's right. Start calling it like that from now on."

"Small box, big box..." He heard Ygor whispering behind him.

He decided to just ignore it and search Moon Entertainment on Gulugulu.

"Hmm..." He read the very first article about it.

Calvin scratched his eyebrow. "Well, this is legit." He said while holding the card.

"But they're poor?" Ygor continued as he also read the article.

"Yeah..."

Ygor seemed down and Calvin continued reading other articles. "Can't I try?" Ygor asked.

Calvin looked at him briefly. "It's not like you can't. I'm just worried that you may not be paid accordingly."

"Come to think of it, do you know what kind of work this is?" Calvin turned around and looked at Ygor.

Ygor yawned and shook his head.

This idiot wants to try working but doesn't even know what kind of work he was offered?!

Calvin pinched the bridge of his nose.

"The company offered you a job to be an artist. It's like a celebrity."

Ygor just asked, "What is a celebrity?"

"They are people who usually appear on T.V." He pointed at the T.V. which is still turned on even though no one was watching.

Currently, a drama is playing. "They are called actors and actresses. They act as their job. What they are doing right now is acting."

"Oh, like a play?" Ygor often watched plays in the kingdom secretly when he's able to sneak out.

"Yes!" Calvin clapped, he is happy that the dragon was able to grasp it easily.

"Some are singers, you know what singers are?" Ygor nodded again.

"Basically, being an artist is being a celebrity. You have to have the talent and skill if you want to succeed."

"Then does it mean I have the talent and skill? Is that why I was offered earlier?"

Calvin shook his head. "No, she offered you the job because of your looks. Looks are more important nowadays. But skill and talent still play a role."

"So, can you act? sing? dance?" Calvin asked.

"Isn't my looks enough to be my talent?" Ygor playfully said as he combed his hair with his fingers.

Calvin's fists are shaking.

"And my skill is being a dragon?"

Smack!

"Do you want to be dissected like a lizard on area 51?"

"I'm a dragon!"

"Stop shouting! Mrs. Park will kill us, you big idiot!"

Calvin looked back at the computer and then the card. "Look, let's think about this first. It might be too hard for you."

"Alright, I'll follow your advice." Ygor shrugged.

A whole week went by, Ygor learned how to use the computer and search on Gulugulu. When Calvin is not home, he watches T.V., and when there's something he wants to know he searches on Gulugulu.

There are also days when Ygor would be stubborn and walk all the way from home to Calvin's university. Every day, they would go home and ride a bus.

Sometimes, Calvin would take Ygor to his part-time job and have him help at the convenience store he's working at. He thought about having Ygor work with him but the owner said that they will not hire new employees at the moment.

Ygor was slowly getting used to the lifestyle on Earth. He's learned a lot and remembers them all.

It was Friday next week when Ygor said, "Hey, let's give her a call."

Calvin looked at him. "I've researched a lot on Gulugulu. They said that artists get paid a lot!"

"Yeah, but then you'd have to succeed first before you actually get paid a lot. The company you're going to is also dirt poor. How would they pay you?"

"But it's better than nothing, right? We've looked around the whole city and even in your job, there are no vacancies. At least if I work at the company, I'll get paid a little bit then I can buy us food."

"Have you searched enough? Even if you apply now, you'd still have to be a trainee. They don't get paid."

Ygor nodded. "Yeah, but they said that as a trainee you'd still get allowances, the company will also take care of the place I will sleep in, the food, and even school."

Gulugulu really helped Ygor learn a lot. "But how would Moon Ent. do that? They're poor, remember?"

"Would they offer me a job if they don't have money to pay me?" With that, Ygor made his point.

Calvin went into deep thinking. Ygor had a point, but also it's scary because what if he gets mistreated. But they are also on a very tight budget now.

Calvin sighed and put his hands on the table. "I'll ask you one last time, are you sure about this?"

Ygor firmly said, "Yes."

His determination moved Calvin just a little bit to the point that Calvin's fists felt a little more lenient today.

"Fine, since it's about your job and you really want to do it. Here, you make the call." Calvin gave his smartphone to Ygor.

Ygor was flustered. Calvin then taught him how to make a call. After a few seconds, Ygor was finally able to dial the number.

A woman's voice can be heard on the line. "This is Moon Entertainment, what can I do for you?"

Ygor looked at Calvin for help. Calvin took the card and pointed at the name written below.

"Ah, hello?"

"Yes, how may I help you?"

Calvin pointed at himself and mouthed some words with gestures. "I am..."

Then he made binoculars with his hand and pretended to be sight-seeing. "looking for Miss Kim Jangmi"

Ygor got the question quickly from Calvin.

"Alright, please hold on for one second." And then the line went silent.

A few moments later they heard another voice. "This is Kim Jangmi, who am I speaking with?"

Ygor looked very excited. "Ah, this is Ygor!" He said.

"Pardon me?"

Calvin whispered to Ygor. "Explain to her where you met."

Ygor nodded slightly. "Ah, I'm the guy from earlier."

"Which guy?"

Calvin pointed at his hair. "The guy with the long white hair."

There was an audible gasp followed by a second of silence. "Ah! Yes, yes I remember you!"

Her voice was full of excitement. "Um, I want to talk about the job."

"Of course! When are you free? I will schedule a meeting."

Calvin mouthed and Ygor voiced it out. "Tomorrow, I am free tomorrow."
