Chapter 45: Chapter 45 Outer Area

We keep walking during hours meeting couples of fire creatures on the road.

"You know baishi dont you think is weird?" I ask.

"What's weird cheng?" Ask back Baishi like not understanding.

"We have walks for hours and sill haven't meet no one, Except for fire beasts." I spoke my toughts.

"Your right, perhaps since we haven't found nothing. I'm guessing if the other guys have maps this place probably is mark as the place where bird don't even sh*t here list." 

Chuckle Baishi 

I also couldn't help but laught at that. We when we're walking we reach a hill. We went to the edge to see a better view.

"Cheng look." Spoke softy Baishi pointing at the woods which had trees and leafs were color mystic orange. 

I could even see them glowing.

"Did you see them?" Ask Baishi.

"See what?" I ask confused. After using my divine sea I still didn't detect anything.

"Look at those ants." She pointed again.

This time I saw a bunch of ant camouflage under trees, pulling some fire wolf's together. 

" Let's follow them." I spoke after all we didn't have nothing better to do.

We went dow the hill quietly. I was surprise that I couldn't find them with my divine sea it actually give me chills. After going down and following them silently. I notice the ants were about 3 feets tall. I also notice the were all at the Holy beast Rank 1 level.

After a while we start it seeing more ants coming to regroup. About 30 ants we're in line and all of them were pulling different fire beasts. The beasts caught by them howls in anger but their couldn't escape them. 

" I think they are going to their hive." I spoke my toughts.

"What's is amazing how they can actuall take as hostage the beasts that look stronger than them." 

"Have you noticed that they are like robots?" I ask.

"What are robots?" Baishisi spoke confused.

I forgot that this was a different.

"Like puppets, do you know what are puppets." I said.

"Ohh yes I do." Baishi nodded as if understanding 

"They are following orders from her queen, perhaps she even controls them." I said my toughts.

We finally reach the entrance of the hive. And the next scene shock us they were about 3 more line of Ants. Coming from 3 different directions.

"You think we should attack?" I said. 

After all even though we haven't found nothing good. Those are at least a hundreds fire spirit stone that without counting the other beasts that are still hostage and alive.

"Cheng you sure? We're going to poke the hive would more of them come?" Spoke baishi unsure.

I knew her tought even doe were strong we must be careful. But knowing how the ants works I was not worried. Unless a beast come to mess around.

"Help!" When I was thinking a scream from line ants sounded.

We look and saw a guy with the Cultivation base of The Empyrean Realm middle stage. 

"Baishi how about we kill all of them and save the guy, get Intel or perhaps a map from him?" I ask. 

After all if we we're going to attack those ants let's take double advantage.

Baishi nodded.

We hurriedly attack in unison. Me using my spear arrows technique with spear intent. Whole baishi start using a teachnique I never saw her use before with purple thunder.

15 mins later..

[Ding! Host kills 49 Fire beast Earns 0 exp]

[Ding! Baishi kills 75 Fire beast host earns 0 exp] 

I was surprise how quickly baishi kill all of them. Those purple thunders balls she threw were deadly. It took us 15 mins to kill all of them because we start killing the hostages first so when we kill the ants. They would not escape after all those are fire spirits stones.

We went to the guy we save and was surprise he didn't have Injuries so how can he be trap.

"Thank you fellow cultivators." Spoke The guy we saved he looks in his late twenties.

"My name is Sen li and I'm from the The tiger sect." Sen Li spoke introducing himself.

"My names is Lin cheng and this is my girlfriend Baishi." Lin cheng spoke.

Sen li look at baishi and was shock by her beauty. Apart from that he also had awe towards Lin cheng and Baishi he saw how powerful they were. He could see baishi was from the fox demon clan.

After Lin cheng pick each of the Fire spirit stones he put them away. Sen li didn't care about them after all he was grateful  for their help. 

Lin cheng was surprise that Sen li didn't have arrogance like most of xianxia novels. They Usually describe.

"Sen li do you have a map or something?  were kind of lost." Lin cheng spoke.

Sen li was confused how could they have not map. Most big forces already had scout this place. Anyways it was not his business.

"Actually I do I can give you a copy if you want." Said Sen Li.

Lin cheng and baishi look at each other. They couldn't believe it really works. 

Sen li took out piece of paper which had different locations marks. 

"Is not that my in a gossip person. But how did you get caught by those ants. After all you are more powerful?" Ask Lin cheng curiously.

"Well Brother Lin, if I can call you that is because those ants. Can not be sense by our spirit sea. Apart from that when they touch you with the legs it would automatically. Put your whole body asleep except for you head. Meaning you can't move. They could even trap a person from the Void King realm." 

Spoke with resentment Sen li.

Lin cheng was surprise of how dangerous they are. Same goes for baishi even though baishi has gain knowledge from her bloodline. It actually basic knowledge from each topic. That's without saying that each secret realm has different eco systems. Is no like she can know everything only the basic.

"So where are we?" Ask Lin Cheng after receiving the map from Sen li.

Sen li was surprise that this powerful people didn't know much. But he didn't mind perhaps they were lost from the main group.

"Were right now at the outer area of this realm, there are 3 areas mark as you can see on the map. The more deep you go the worse the beasts are. Of course the better the Fire spirit stones would be. After all this fire spirit stones you pick are considered Low level fire spirit stone." Spoke Sen li.

Suddenly Sen li waist lit up. Making him tremble from excitement.

"My sect fellows have already regroup!" Spoke Sen li.

"If you want you can follow me while I explain your questions." Sen li threw an offer after all he could see this geniuses were little lost.

"Well let's go together but when we reach the inner area let's separate after all my girlfriend and I like to be alone." Spoke Straightforward Lin cheng.

Sen li was dissapointed, but thinking they might form a group he agreed. 

So a trio start it walking towards the inner area of the realm. While Sen li explained common knowledge of the Fire realm.

"Do you guys know about the Fire liquid lake?" Ask Sen li.

"Nope." Answer Baishi while Lin cheng shook his head.

"Well there is actually a mini Fire spirit gathering pool which is refill during the thousands years the fire realm id closed. It actually help improve your Physic body. But it won't open until a while about 10 days. Is on this red mark actually." Spoke Sen li while pointing at the copy map he give Lin cheng and baishi.

"Does it have a catch? After all is too good to be true." Lin cheng spoke expressing his toughts.

"Well as you know most people here are at the Empyrean Realm. So everyone want the spirit gathering pool to breakthrough the Void King Realm. But you must know that pool open only every thousand years. The catch is that there's only 20 spots." Said Sen li.

"Let me guess after it opens it becomes a blood bath?" Lin cheng said.

"Exactly, so most of those who has low cultivation spend their time hunting monsters for the fire qi stones. Even though it doesn't have the same effect as the Fire Qi Pool. They are still valuable." Said Sen li.

"Also people tend to hunt monsters in groups for the Fire Qi Stones. So brother lin and sister baishi be careful there are some people with toughts hunting for the Fire spirit stones." Advice Sen li.

Lin cheng and bashi understood, that for them sometimes is easier to rob and kill for the resources. At least in the eyes of those type of cultivators. But Lin Cheng and baishi were really not worry about the cultivators. They had absolute confidence in their strength.

The only thing that worry Lin cheng were the Fire beasts. He really wanted to collect those fire qi stones. And more when learning that he could absorb energy from them. 

On the way they encounter couple of fire beasts which. Whoever kills it the stone would belong to that person. So baishi and Lin cheng got more Fire Qi spirit stones.

Seeing how in outer area of the realm all of the beast were in the Holy Rank 1. He could imagine in inner there would be stronger. At least Holy rank 2 beasts.
