Chapter 50: Chapter 43:First real evoultion

Four pieces of tier 4 rare drops now lay before Itsy. Death-Silkworm, Stringed nightmare, Terror-dryder, and an arachne. These were her final choices, the common 'thread' between all of them was that they all focused on empowering her silk. She looked up at Simon as if waiting for his permission. Simon gave her a thumbs up, which she took as confirmation. 

She grabbed all four 'drops' in her hands and within moments they melded into her skin. What happened next was one of the most flashy things that can happen in this world. Slowly but at a steadily increasing rate small luminous particles appeared from thin air and attached themselves to the monster girl. Within a minute she was entirely engulfed in a blinding white light.

In the same fashion, as they attached themselves, the particles slowly dissipated like a wave of bright glowing white dust coming off her. What was left behind was the same old Itsy yet with some key differences. Her spider half was noticeably larger and once it was comprised of completely black chitinous material, now it was completely covered in a thick layer of what he could only describe as silky silver with streaks of greyish black originating from the center of her spider abdomen spreading to her spider legs covering them in their entirety. Mentioning her legs, they looked less like giant spikes and had a lot more girth to them and each ended with three supporting claws.

Her upper half remained relatively the same, she just looked fuller, her curves slightly more exaggerated. The only thing of note was that her originally white hair now looked more glossy silver like her spider abdomen.

Simon looked on in quite a bit of astonishment. He had assumed that evolutions were more like when he marked Hiss or Rawr and when he had bonded with Itsy and Whiskers. It was a quick shift into their new form with next to no fanfare, he now realized why Maria had told him to find a good spot to spend the rest of the day. He turned to the other monster girl that had their evolving state, namely Whiskers, and sure enough, she too was under the brilliant white light.

Simon had read that to this was normally the case when a monster girl evolved but being so used that not being the case when it came to his evolutions. Even when Hiss evolved to tier 5 the changes were a lot more subdued. 

Speaking of Whiskers, her shadow abilities were what he ended up choosing to become more enhanced, and like a curious cat, she had absorbed them like they were toys. 

Whiskers also had dramatic changes, nothing to her physique which still remained slim and petite. What did change was everything else. Her skin became a lot paler, her cat eyes lost their original color now a combination of white, grey, and black. A smoky wave of those three colors seemed to be emitting from her black pupils and swirling around in her irises. Her hair became dark as the night gave off a much more dark smoky wave that disappeared as soon wafted off her hair. Her two tails both now had the same effect coming off their black fur. The rest of her body outside of eyebrows and eyelashes became completely bald not a bit of fur on her. Her face became a lot more human outside of her catlike eyes and her cat ears became much more pronounced on the top of her head as one could easily spot them beyond the smoke effect her fur gave off. Everything about her was now a touch eerie.

Both did not even bother checking their changes instead both looked directly at him.

"Master..." a smooth low voice left the mouth of Itsy, who was looking at him with a desperate need as she started moving towards him.

"Master!~nya!~" came a high pitch girly voice from Whiskers that was completely at odds with her sinister dark looks, she leaped into his arms.

"Let us back up a bit. They just evolved, right now they must be feeling particularly needy." Maria spoke out as she backed up from Simon taking Witch with her.

Outside of the fact that his original members spoke for the first time, he grabbed Whiskers who latched on to his torso as she started rubbing her soft hair into her neck, the unique feature of her hair felt both soothing and tingly. As he was making his observation, both of them were picked up by the massive arachne who also started rubbing herself on him.

"What is going on?" Simon asked as he was being used as a support animal.

'Normal evolution is very disorienting and unnatural to monster girls. Wild ones tend to go on a bit of a rampage while tamed ones look for support from their bond while they adjust. Let them hug you, it will be good for them.' Rawr decided to answer.

"Ok..." This was a new experience.
