Chapter 62: chapter 54: Conversing demons

An extremely beautiful and obscene female form was bouncing up and down another male form. The male looked aged like he was on his deathbed about to croak at any moment. That was not the only absurdity of the situation, the act was being performed in the middle of a mystic zone with no form of protection whatsoever. The actors(or at least one of the actors) did not care as the woman continued to shake her hips in wild abandon.

In about a minute, the body started shivering followed by a violent spasming. After 5 or so seconds the body went limp... permanently. Two giant bat wings sprung out of the woman's back as she stood up with a rapid jerk, the appendage that was in her vagina coming out with a wet *schlop*. There was not an ounce of semen to be seen anywhere despite all the fluids that oozed out. The woman stretched lazily as she looked very satisfied.

 "Fuck! I needed that."

"You are back to full I assume?" A form materialized from a shadow appearing right next to her as the succubus was making herself limber.

"You betcha. This succubus is back to a hundred percent... or close enough. Thanks for the meal by the way." The succubus now turned to her friend who looked no worse for wear. Nobody would believe that but hours ago she was being pummeled into mush by very determined lamia.

"Think nothing of it. If it were not for your quick thinking in teleporting the target into the lamia's embrace and fleeing in such haste with my unconscious form I would not be having this conversation right now. It is only right I feed you." The shadow answered stoically.

"Stop it. You are making me blush. We are partners, aren't we? It is our job to scratch each other's backs. I did not need a thank you. Though I am still grateful for the meal. He must have been worth a lot. That boy was filling." The succubus looked at the body that looked a lot closer to an old man to a boy, his originally blonde hair losing most of his color and his once muscular body now reduced to skin and bone.

"Not really. He was just a talented rookie in the wrong place at the wrong time. Believe it or not, he came as a pair but the other was one of the few that 'evolved'." The shadow said with a hint of sadness in her voice.

"What?! Really?! Why are you slumming it with me then? Shouldn't you be super powerful by now?" The succubus looked back at her friend incredulously. 

*Sigh*

The form of the shadow was by design vague but if one tried hard enough one could notice the form slump a little.

"...Both his bonds also 'evolved' as well..."

"Shit. Sorry." The succubus twirled her jet-black hair with one of her always perfectly manicured fingers as she looked at the shadow intently.

"What is it?" The shadow asked knowing she wanted more details.

"Do I know the new demon lords?"

"The whisper of the forest and the enchanted web." The shadow answered with a bit of bitterness in her voice.

"Wait... The two newbies that have been rocketing through the ranks? Shit, and I thought they were blessed by Red Star."

"The Red star only blesses arch-demons and [demon king] candidates. You know that."

The sudden shout took the succubus completely off guard and she held her hands up in surrender as she said.

"I give. I give. Calm down, it was just an expression."

The shadow gave out an audible *harumph* as she said.

"Remember that the only reason the Dark Cabal even exists is because of the Red Star."

This time it was the succubus's turn to give a *harumph*.

"Yeah, yeah. It's not like we are over-qualified to kidnap a child or anything."

"Then why did we fail to retrieve one child and have to flee if we are so overqualified?"

"Complications."

"That our lessers would not have been able to survive."
