Chapter 158: Day 157

Day 157,

The mists are out today.  Sooner than I would have liked for having to spend a day alone.

 

Went to visit Pat.  Told him I owed him an apology and a story.  I gave him both.  He had kind things to say about both.  Thanked him for it despite being torn between feeling better for it and the nagging doubt that he was just saying it to make me feel better.  At any rate, we parted on better terms than last time and I feel better now than I did that day.

Still don’t particularly want to go into detail about it and it’s not bothering me enough to keep me awake until I put it to paper to excise it from my mind.

One of these days I’ll get around to actually writing down the second half of that story.

One of these days I’ll actually ask Pat the things I’ve been meaning to ask him for a month or more now.
