Day 176,

Not sure if I’m starting to hallucinate or if I’m remembering fever dreams and being unclear when I’m awake or not.  Occasionally I’ll open my eyes (or think I’ve opened my eyes) and find one or more unknown figures in the room with me.  Some nearly humanoid, some less so.  Sometimes they watch me, sometimes they ignore me.  Sometimes they simply stand there, sometimes they pace about the small space or climb the walls.  Generally though, they’re all indistinct enough that I can reassure myself that it must have been a dream.

Then again, dreams have been hard for me to recall and sprites and shades do exist.

To add to my uncertain perception, at one point, I could have sworn that I’d gotten up and walked around before making an entry.  Yet, when I began writing a few minutes ago, this day was still blank.

It feels like I’ve been holed up here for longer than five days (six if you count both today and the day I collapsed I suppose), but Lin assures me that the count in this journal is correct.

This journal.  Perhaps it can be counted on for reality.  If I attempt to make an entry when I see something, I might check back later to confirm if an entry is there, and if not, that means I was dreaming at the time.  Then again, I suppose such a solution would do little to confirm or deny waking hallucinations.
