“Thirteen Strings!’’ I muttered, and next moment, the band on my unraveled, and nine tiny knives uniformly floated beside me.

This the first time I controlling all the nine with the soul threads, the feeling is fantastic. I am feeling control like never before, and power emitting is truly amazing.

These knives moved with my intentions and just the way I wanted with accuracy, with the usual soul energy it is tough to acquire such accuracy, only with such refined string one could get this level of accuracy.

I played them with a minuit before I took out another thing from my dem bad; this one is bracelet also but comparable to the two bracelets I am wearing, this one had a masculine look.

It is a Telekinesis Artifact that I had found in the Dem bag of the Elite Knight I had killed, this telekinetic toward both offense and defense, it not only had six nails, but it also had three shields. With one can not only attack but also defend.

I took off the small shield that I had attached to the bracelet and placed it back into my storage, this is a shield that Isabell had given me, but now I have this new artifact, I dont think it I will need it anymore. I will not return it though, at least I will keep till I do not need it.

I put on the bracelet on the other hand and activated it, and soon three shields and one knife came out it.

With three defensive shields and nine attacking knives, I will not need to be afraid of anyone; even strong Elite Baron would have a hard time killing me now.

I played with them for a while before putting them all in back into their space. However, Ive successfully created the strings from the soul energy there is still one thing I have to do before I could sleep.

I have to refine my body; I will need every bit of strength I can have for tomorrow. With that thought in mind, I took the materials out of my Dem bag and started the process of body refining.

A few minuits later, the torture began, and that torture lasted for more than one and a half hour, but the result of the pain is evident as I could feel the apparent increse in power of my body.

After getting up, I did not test my strength as I usually but directly walked toward the bathroom for a shower, it’s already quite late, and I have to wake up early morning tomorrow.

When I woke up the next day, it was early morning, getting out of my bed I did my morning activities and took a shower, I couldnt help but sigh feeling the warm water falling on my skin.

This will be the last shower I will have for a few days, after dividing in the group we will venture in the forest that is surrounding the city and would stay there at least five days before we will be able to come back.

Though I have brought the Cleansing Liquid from the Northern Headquarter, which I have to lotion all over my body and it will automatically clean my body, it will be nothing satisfying as the shower. So, I enjoyed the shower for an extra ten minutes before I get out it.

Knock Knock…

I just finished placing my sword on m waist when I heard the knock on my door, I was ready already, so after double-checking my preparations, I walked toward the door.

“Let’s go!” said Shiela, and four got out of the Manor and walked toward the Military compound. No one talked much as everyone’s mood is sober as likely everyone would go out of the city.

These missions are very hard, especially now those vicious half-blood mercenaries got involved in the war. One we go outside of the city, we dont know if we returned alive or not.

Soon we reached the Military compound, and it seemed exceptionally crowed; from what Ramon said, the Hilnet city will send 30% of its forces out and would increse and decreased according to the need of that battlefield.

Richard walked closer and probably noticing his abnormal expression; he swiftly controlled them as he walked toward us. Soon he entered my range, and I was assaulted by the lust he was feeling.

The lust he was feeling toward me is immense, though usually, Richard had very high lust toward me; this time, the lust projecting he is projecting is much higher than before.

I started to suspect that lust he was feeling toward me probably related to the ecstatic expression he had on the face.

“Everyone.” Richard greeted.

“Did you find some treasure or something, Richard, you seemed happy?” Shiela asked without a mincing of words. “Yes, you might say that. I found something that will take me one step closer to becoming Count.” Richard replied, and his lust for me flared again.

Hearing what Richard said, everyone had a look of envy that appeared in their eyes. Here everyone is Peak of Viscount and could level up instantly and became Count, but if they leveled up now, they would be just slightly stronger Counts, not the Elite Counts.

The reason they are staying in the level of Vicount for years because they want to reach the apex of the Viscount stage harness every bit of strength it has and also collect some rare resources, so when they level up, they would be Elite Count from the beginning.

It would not only give then strength lord over others of the same level, but it will also increase their potential for the next level.

“Why are you here, then?” Shiela asked as he wouldn’t have come here to tell the news and make them jealous.
