"So what do you want?" Sir Wennen stares at the boy, he pours a cup of tea for himself, "You're not going to ask me for a job or anything, are you?" he pauses, stifling a yawn.

Rihan looks around the room, "Oh, no, we're not," he replied. In front of the desk, a golden metal tag writes 'The Great Hall, Chief of the Golden Pavilion Room'.

"Then why did you come here?" Sir Wennen stares at the boy, pausing. "Do you want me to recommend you to the Royal Guard?" he pauses, stifling a snicker. "I don't think they would welcome a bunch of rascals like you." he pauses, stifling another snicker.

Rihan sighs, patting his chest. "Actually, I came here to tell you about the Golden Contracts." he paused. "You see, I won't be handing that over to you, so you should give it back to us."

Sir Wennen scowls, his hand gripping the edge of the table. "I won't give you the Golden Contracts, no matter what." he scowls, his hand trembling. "If you're not going to hand over the other contract, I'll take it over your dead body. You should know that you're not going out of this room alive." he scowls, his eyes narrowing.

Rihan sighs, shaking his head. "It's not going to happen. You'll regret it if you put your hands on us." he looks distracted by the decoration in Sir Wennen's room. "We're going to make sure you regret it."

Sir Wennen's face quivers, his lips quivering. "How dare you threaten me?

"Hmph, threats? You think I'm afraid of you?!" Rihan scoffs, his eye focused on a replica of the Golden Pavilion on a cabinet nearby.

Irricester Central Plaza, (Flashback)

"You'll regret it," Rihan recalls as he stares at the group standing on top of the Golden Pavilion. "I'm going to make sure you regret this." he stares at the man.

"You should know that I'm not someone you can bully easily. You guys don't deserve to enter my Golden Pavilion!" Sir Wennen stood on top of the Golden Pavilion, stifling a snicker. "Now get lost!" he stares at the group, pausing. "Go on, scram!"

From a distance, watches loud rumbling noise can be heard. A cloud of dust rose from the ground, followed by a loud roar. The ground quivered, shaking violently, snapping trees and crushing rocks.

Rihan's face is visibly shaken as he watches clouds of blood-red mist rise from the distance.

"What's happening?!" he stares at the scene in horror.

"They've broken through the barrier! They're going to get here any moment now!"

The next thing he remembers is the sound of roars and the appearance of several Virah, stumbling towards the crowds below the Golden Pavilion. Rihan stares at the approaching monsters, his heart thumping wildly. Hoping that Sir Wennen and his family would open the Pavilion, he turned to look at the top of the Golden Pavilion.

And what he saw that day was ingrained in his memory.

Sir Wennen stares at the advancing monsters, stifling a snicker. "You're all going to die," he scowls. "You can't even beat one monster!" he pauses, "That's why you're not worthy of entering my Golden Pavilion!"

The Great Hall, Chief of the Golden Pavilion Room

Rihan's blood lust rises within him, "I'm going to make sure you suffer this time!" he repeated in his mind.

Sensing the blood lust from Rihan, Sir Wennen immediately reached for the sword stashed behind his table. As a Silver Rank Arch Cultivator, his movement is faster than lightning. The instant he reaches for the sword, he stabs the hilt against the floor, causing the blade to spring forth from its sheath.

Rihan stares at the blade, his eyes glimmering with anticipation. Sung Li's eyes widened. "Wow, cool!" he stares at the blade.

The blade shines brightly, reflecting the light of the sun, creating a blinding glow. Its blade is sharp, cutting through the air with ease.

The brightness comes from the sword because is imbued with powerful energy, making it harder to break as the power of the sword is imbued by the soul of the user.

Rihan and Ijohen sprang into action, Rihan jumped sideways while Ijohen reached into his pocket, pulling out a dagger stashed inside.

Rihan stares at the blade, his eyes glimmering with anticipation.

Sung Li's eyes widened. "Wow, cool!" he stares at the blade.

The blade shines brightly, reflecting the light of the sun, creating a blinding glow. Its blade is sharp, cutting through the air with ease, making it harder to break as the power of the sword is imbued by the soul of the user.

Ijohen stares at the sword, his eyes quivering with awe. "This is a Gold Rank Arch Cultivator's sword!" he stares at the sword.

The sword slices the air from left to right, Sung Li being the close target. "Whoa!" he stumbles back.

A braid tied to his chest stabs forward, stabbing the air before snapping back. In an instant, a barrier formed around Sung Li. Protecting him from harm, the barrier quivers slightly, its light shining brightly.

"What the-?" Sir Wennen stares at the sword, pausing. "Where did this barrier come from?"

Rihan stares at the blade, his blood boiling.

"What are you guards doing! Attack!" Sir Wennen barked at the four guards in the other room.

"Yes sir!" they stare at each other, rushing toward the four boys.

"This guy's got guts," Sung Li stares at the sword. "He wants to cut us to pieces!"

The protection from the barrier bought them precious time. While they were stumbling backwards due to the shockwave from the barrier, Sir Wennen smirked. "You guys are so pathetic," he scowls. "What can a barrier do?"

Rihan stumbled upon the cabinet and reached out to the Golden Pavilion replica.

"I'll show you what your shitty barrier can do!" Sir Wennen stares at the sword, pausing. "I'll kill you with my own hands!"

The four soldiers also reached Sung Li and started hacking away at the barrier.

Rihan grins, his lips curling up. "Bring it on!".

He formed a pattern on the Golden Pavilion replica, a golden symbol that resembled the shape of a flower.

"What are you fools doing!?" Sir Wennen shouted angrily, "Kill this punk first!"

Rihan stared at the ceiling, concentrating.

Sir Wennen saw the pattern that Rihan was forming and was shocked.

"What the hell?!" He looked at the pattern that was forming, his face turning pale.

The symbols on the floor suddenly changed, becoming the same as the ones on the replica.

Sir Wennen gulped. Sure enough, he knew about the Myriad Fog Array that was assembled in the room. Who is this boy!?

Rihan smiled, watching the patterns on the floor change. "I see, you're using the Myriad Fog Array. It's not very good though." he muttered under his breath. The foggy lines on the ground began to form a complex geometric structure.

"What did you say?" Sir Wennen glared at the boy. "You think you're smart or something? I'm tired of your shit!"

"Hmph, I'm not talking to you anymore." Rihan ignored Sir Wennen's words and looked at Ijohen who was staring at him the whole time. A dagger in his hand. They both nodded at the same time.

At that moment Ijohen took the dagger and slit his wrist open. Blood dripped down his arm.

The four soldiers look at Ijohen's action in confusion. They couldn't understand why he would do such a thing.

"What the fuck are you two doing?!" Sir Wennen screamed, his face twisting. "What kind of idiot are you? Hahah-!"

Suddenly he felt a cold metal resting on his neck.

"Don't move," a voice whispered.

Sir Wennen froze in place.

"You don't have any other tricks, do you?" the voice continued.

Outside the office, there were sounds of footsteps running across the stone pavement.

"Who the hell are you?!" Sir Wennen asked.

"I'm the one asking the questions," the man said. "And you better answer me. How dare you harm a member of the royal family."

The man's grip tightened.

"I don't know what you're talking ab-" Sir Wennen tried to talk.

The man pressed the knife deeper into his throat. "I don't want to hear your lies."

"What should we do with these guys?" one of the soldiers asked.

"Just arrest them," Silver Beard ordered. "We need to treat young masters right away."

The soldier saluted, "Yes, sir!".

Sir Wennen stood up, "Young Master of the Royal Family?!"

"You're not going to tell anyone about this, are you?" Silver Beard's eyes glinted dangerously.

Sir Wennen shook his head slowly, fear filling his heart.

Silver Beard gave him a nod of approval and removed the dagger from his neck.

The other three soldiers grabbed Sir Wennen's arms.

"Wait!" Rihan raised his voice.

"What is it, kid?" Silver Beard pointed at Rihan.

Rihan stood next to the table, his face twisted with anger. "He got my Golden Contract. If that contract gets lost, I won't be able to go to the school and become a Saint Ruler like I wanted. Please give him back his Golden Contract!"

Silence filled the room.

Why is this kid suddenly acting like a spoiled brat? "What the heck is that supposed to mean!?" Sir Wennen yelled at Rihan. "What is a Golden Contract anyway!?"

Rihan glared at Sir Wennen. "Do you really think you rob it from me?"

Sir Wennen gulps. "You're a fool if you think I would return it," Sir Wennen scowled.

Rihan's eyes glimmered with bloodlust as he walked to Sir Wennen's side. "Didn't I say you will regret this day," he hissed.

"This time, we'll take care of your pompous ass."

"You can't kill him yet, because we have no proof that this guy committed the crime!" Silver Beard said sternly. He stares at the boy, looking at him closely.

"I'm not going to kill him," Rihan smirked. "I'm going to do something worse than death to him." His words dripped with venom, causing Sir Wennen's heart to quiver in terror. The boy has such an evil aura around him; one could feel it even from a distance away. Sir Wennen knew that when one gets close enough to this boy, one would end up dead by his hands or claws.

Rihan reaches into his pocket and pulled out the other Golden Contract. "This contract will do the trick for now," his voice was cold.

Sir Wennen swallowed, holding his breath.
