The Ashen Phoenix

The 'Waves', a phenomena that appeared during the pandemic of Year 2020 on Earth.

The First Wave was named 'The Fixing', in which diseases and physical disabilities were healed, the side effect however, was people's race and physicality began to change. The bigger the change, the longer the time taken to complete. The longest change lasted to the third wave.

The Interlude: A 'Half-wave', so to speak, which gave out a 'system' to all inhabitants of the world happened two years the first wave. Some had asked 'why'?

A simple answer was given.

The Second Wave, 'The Doors'.

The Third Wave, 'The Changes'.

The Fourth Wave, 'Sins and Virtues' Chose those who are most suited for the power of a branch of one of the two.

The Fifth Wave.

Labelled 'The Nightmare'...

This wave has yet to end.

In the perspective of Nika Mayrell, an average kid with a weird and observant demeanor, they must attempt to survive as the world's views, morals and map are subverted in the coming age of destruction.

However, Nika was already forcefully involved with something ten years before, the thing the government was hopelessly trying to control for decades, nearing a century.

You can expect a chapter once a week. There will be no mass-releases in the foreseeable future and any time a chapter is missed, two will be posted the next time. Flexibility in updates depends on my situation. It may take longer to post chapters if I have writer's block and I may post more often if I am more comfortable with doing so.
