I walked inside the building, and when I did I saw a multitude of things. It looked as if a mall was stuffed into a school. I looked up to see an escalator leading up to a second level. It was interesting, to say the least.
Another noticeable thing I saw was groups of other kids talking to each other. I kind of felt left out. As I was all alone and had to make new friends. I moved here from another country when I was just a year old. And a few years back whenever I was just five my family except for my older brother and sister were killed. But years after they ended their lives. Leaving me alone.
I still went to school though. Living every day as if they were still with me. And here I am now. Thirteen years old and in a high-rated school. I looked around to see where the entry stand was. Then, accidentally bumped into a large desk.
"Ow...", I said.
"Are you okay?", the woman behind the desk asked me.
"Yeah. I'm fine."
"You must be here for your Dorm Key, right?"
"Right."
"Please show me your student ID."
I reached into one of my bags to grab my ID and it took me a few seconds to find it. After I found it, I showed her the front of the card. The card had a picture of me, my name, address, birthday, etc.
"Alright! Here you go."
She handed me a key, and attached to it was a little tag that said 'A-02'. I thanked her and walked off to search for my dorm. I tried to ignore the small clusters of people as I walked, but no matter how hard I tried I couldn't shake off the fact of me being all alone. I gripped the bag I was carrying over my shoulder tighter and tried to cheer myself up with happy thoughts and memories. That only made it worse.
Eventually, the thought of trying to make new friends plunged into my head. That would be the only bad part about this place. Trying to make friends. I was never good at making friends or socializing in general. Since my childhood friends were the only people I talked to. But now it seemed I would have to do that sooner or later. My only concern right now was finding my dorm.
I walked inside the dorm building looking left and right for the dorm that said 'A-02'. Then, I found it. Standing next to it was a student probably an inch or two taller than me. The "bad part" had begun its first phase. One of my two roommates. I walked casually toward him and the dorm until out of nowhere he yelled.
"Hey, you must be one of my roommates!"
That outburst alone made the other students stare in our direction. The staring made me more nervous. I tried my best to not accidentally trip over my feet.

"Could you please not yell so loud," I asked him as I walked closer.
"Oops. My bad," he apologized, smiling and scratching the back of his head.
He had white hair and red eyes. And he was about an inch taller than me. His voice was fairly deep for a thirteen-year-old boy. But I had the same problem.
The other students finally looked away, but I had a feeling they were whispering about the weird white-haired kid that had just yelled in the middle of somewhat silence. I was about to say hello when another boy almost gave me a heart attack by saying "Hey" right behind me.
This boy had brown hair and green eyes. After his arrival, we introduced ourselves to one another. The white-haired guy's name was Rei Shojin. And the one who nearly gave me a heart attack was Kensho Yaki. After we had introduced ourselves we walked into the dorm room.
The dorm itself was big. It had a bathroom and pretty much room for the three of us. There were three separate computers. Like three smaller rooms all in one. We were all shocked. We all looked right to see a three-layered bunk bed.
"Can I have the top bunk?" I asked softly.
"Sure," the two said in unison.
I climbed up the wooden ladder to the top bunk. Rei took the middle and Kensho took the bottom. I set my three bags on one end, and I lay down on the other end. There was a short silence until Rei began setting up his "space".
Rei stopped for a sec. "You guys wanna check the rest of the place out?" he said aloud.
"Sounds like a good idea," Kensho responded.
It actually sounded like a solid plan. So, I agreed to go with them and then climbed down the ladder. We then walked out of the dorm and left to see the rest of the Academy.
