Adrian avoided looking at Tomas, who was doing something weird with his face. It was starting to piss him off, so he threw something at him.
"Stop doing that."
"Doing what?"
"That thing with your face when you want to get your way. It's making me nauseous."
"That’s mean."
"I wasn't trying to be nice," Adrian said, sipping on his coffee. He couldn't get rid of Tomas or Ido, and he tried everything.
"So, what do you have planned for today?"
"Work, since you know, I need to make a living. When I come back home, I would love it if you guys weren't here."
"Really? You haven't answered our questions,” Tomas said.
"I have, a million times. I have no interest in you or joining any gangs,” he mumbled. Adrian walked out of the living room back to his room. He began to get dressed for work, wearing a white button-up shirt with a black bow tie and some black slacks. He hated wearing formal things because they were uncomfortable. But it couldn't be helped since he worked as a waiter in a cafe full of pretty boys. It annoyed him since girls often flirted with him, and the boss told Adrian he had to entertain them. He often found himself cringing at the thought, but it was how he made his living. Not many places paid well since he was only 16 years old.
Once he got dressed, he heard a whistle as arms wrapped around his waist.
"You look so handsome."
"Shut up, and get off Tomas," Adrian pushed Tomas off of him, and Tomas puffed his cheeks.
"God, you guys are so annoying."
"What did I do?" Ido feigned innocence, and Adrian shot him a glare.
"Do I have to list everything? You guys stole my ID, followed me to my house, and broke into my house not once but twice. Won't leave me alone, and you just annoy me.”
"I- fair point, but Tomas dragged me into this. I tried to get him to leave you alone," Ido said, and Tomas hit his arm, causing Ido to flinch.
“He isn’t wrong, he is forced to go along with my ideas.”
"Anyway, I am leaving now. Don't follow me.”
"Okay, we will be here."
"Whatever..."
"What time will you be off?"
"Don't know, don't care." Adrian closed the door behind him and left the house. He continued looking behind him to ensure the two thorns in his side weren't following him. Once he was sure he was alone, he placed his headphones in his ear and began to focus on the music. The past two days have been a mess. Things in his life continued to get weirder.
Once he arrived at the cafe, he took his headphones out and placed his phone in his pocket. He nodded to his coworkers and his boss before clocking in.
"Congratulations on graduating, Adrian."
"Thanks," he said to his boss with a soft smile. Once he stepped out onto the floor to his section, several girls squealed upon seeing him. He let a small scoff out before flashing a charming smile to the ladies. He then went to their table before taking out his notepad.

"Good morning, ladies. My name is Adrian. Though I am sure you lovely ladies already know that, can I get you anything to drink?"
"Oh, we know. Yes, what would you recommend for us?" A blonde girl asked. She had deep blue eyes and twirled her hair around her finger. She reminded him of Rose, just more his age.
"Well, my favorite drink is the vanilla latte with a caramel swirl."
"All of us... we want that. Can you make it for us?" Another girl with brown curly hair and brown eyes asked.
"Of course, though I think the barista will be hurt," he sent a small wink to the girls who squealed. He mentally cringed, wanting to dig a hole for himself.
'Maybe I should join the gang. I won't have to do this...' he thought.
"It's no offense to him. We just want your love poured into it."
"Haha, alright. I will see what I can do." He left their table and went to the barista.
"You know, I get paid to do nothing all day," Kevin said, laughing as he already knew what Adrian would say.
"I know. I want to dig a hole every time I flirt with them."
"Is it because you are secretly shy or like guys?"
"I wouldn't say shy, just a loner. Like guys, though," Adrian said, laughing to himself.
"Figured they are watching you," Kevin said laughing, and Adrian turned to meet their eyes. He sent them another wink before making their lattes.
"I need to be paid extra because no one else deals with what I deal with."
Adrian groaned as he finished making the lattes before going back to their table. They giggled and straightened themselves up as they continued to flutter their eyelids.
"Here you go, ladies. Can I get you guys anything else?"
"Your number?" The blonde asked, and Adrian only laughed, covering his mouth.
"I wish I could, but my boss would kill me. He says that I have to stop flirting with beautiful ladies like yourself."
"Awe, your boss is so boring."
"I know, sorry, ladies."
"It's okay...." They took their drinks and watched Adrian as he walked away. Adrian leaned against the counter, and the boss glared at him.
"I make you stop flirting? More like I make you match their energy."
"Shh, you want me to, so go along with it." Adrian stuck his tongue out, which made some of the girls squeal.
"Really? I forget that you are 16 years old sometimes."
"Yeah, that is your fault," Adrian smirked, and the boss scoffed slightly. Adrian leaned against the wall since there wasn't much to do. He glanced over at the table a couple of times to ensure they didn't need anything and occasionally walked over to 'flirt' with them. They were eating it up. The only good thing is they always leave good tips. So he didn't complain too much since he made decent money.
