Two of the men laugh to each other about the newcomer who doesn’t seem to understand the situation she’s in. The other two look exasperated, tired of dealing with surprises to their operation. None of them wanted to make any noise to begin with. None of them wanted to scream at the top of their lungs for their interloper to appear.
If things had gone according to plan, this building would have already been burning to the ground by now. Instead, they had made fools of themselves and attracted attention from the ugly beast people.
The woman doesn’t seem to understand what they’re thinking at all.
"I asked you who you are! Do you even live here!?" She yells, her screeching voice interminable to the four of them. The reason two of them are laughing is because they see themselves as land dragons and this woman as nothing more than a domesticated Miella.
"Ah, yes, we do live here, forgive us for our noise! You see, we were simply trying to search for one of my pets." One of the men says, lying as easily as he breathes. He views the woman in front of him as nothing at all, not even worth the time it would take his mind to come up with a better lie.
The woman seems to get more enraged however, to their amusement.
"You cannot have any pets in this building! As soon as you find your pet, it will be confiscated unless you can take it somewhere else!" Sigvor doesn't really know what the pet policy of this building is, but she doubts he'd see through this bluff. Just so long as it makes him see her as an annoyance rather than someone of any substantial authority.
She’s seen many people behave in this manner, mostly around shopkeepers. It almost always made the surrounding crowd view them with ridicule.
"Wait, hold on, miss, I'm sure that we can deal with this amicably." The young man, Poil, smiles warmly.
Poil, the man who was tasked with searching rooms for a worthy candidate earlier, walks towards the woman. He needs to silence her before she draws any more attention to them. Though he can only grimace at the fact that his moronic fellow members thought that shouting at the top of their lungs was at all helpful to begin with.
It just gives him more to deal with and he’s been having quite the hard time of it so far as it is.
In all honesty, he's become more and more unstable because of how many things have just kept on going wrong today. First, the interference of that strange human that made Loman reconsider his plans, then that demihuman mongrel stealing their vials and the child… He's not sure how much more of this he can take.
Right now, he would actually feel a little better if he dealt with his anger in a more constructive way. Perhaps, repeatedly stabbing this woman with the knife in his sleeve would suffice.
She stands before him and he starts by speaking to her with a sweet voice.
"I'm so sorry about our inconsiderate actions." He starts, his voice like honey, his right hand ready to draw his blade. "We will finish looking for my pet and then I'm sure that we can handle this in a reasonable manner."
As soon as he gets within striking range of her, he takes out the knife in his right sleeve and aims directly at this demihuman woman’s throat. He doesn't think too hard about anything while he does this. After all, he can handle one beastkin woman just fine.
He's helped kidnap groups of full grown beastkin men quite often, he's trained enough to kill someone without even having to think about it.

He can handle this just f–
Shnk.
He doesn't see anything further. The woman casually dodges the knife coming at her by moving her neck. She then easily cuts a path through the man’s own neck directly to his brain using her decay blade. She then removes the blade from his neck and places it back under her clothes as if nothing at all happened.
However, the man in front of her is going to fall forward, obviously dead. She would like to see if she can at least trick her way into one more death at least.
"Wh-Whoa! Hey!"
Rather than letting the man’s body crumple, Sigvor moves forwards towards him and hugs the man, trying to prop his corpse upright.
"Oh my God! Hey, can one of you help me? I don't know what happened, but this man, h-he fainted!" Her expression, her trembling voice, her body language, it all comes together to form this deception. If she’s lucky, her victims won’t think too hard about the next few seconds.
She had called out for the man's three friends for assistance.
They look towards her holding up their friend with complete confusion. None of them noticed what exactly happened either since Poil's body had blocked their line of sight to the girl. To be fair though, they weren't paying close attention to begin with, they were only waiting for Poil to deal with the woman.
They didn't even try to see the moment that Poil tried to stab her in the throat.
Since no blood falls from Poil's neck to the floor due to the special properties of the decay blade, the three men move closer to Sigvor in confusion. She tries to move the corpse in her arms forward as well, feigning a struggle, as if she's about to drop the man at any second.
The three men move somewhat briskly towards her as a result, ignoring their common sense which might make them ask the question, why did our friend of good health suddenly faint within a few feet of this demihuman woman?
Once they get close enough however, it’s too late…
"I'm sorry, he's too heavy, here! Catch!"
Sigvor, pretending as if the man is too heavy for her thin body to hold upright, throws the dead human into the arms of the two closest men.
