The two men caught their dead friend together but weren't expecting such a heavy throw from the little woman. The two men who catch the body fall backwards from the weight of the man's corpse.

They finally notice that the man has an odd festering cut on his neck, one that looks suspiciously similar to the wound caused by Cariha's decaying knife. They also look at his eyes and see that one of them is open. They finally smell something wrong.

The man has voided his bowels, releasing them in the moment of his death.

However, before they can react to the confusing situation, they see a woman moving closer to them faster than they can respond. Sigvor rushes towards them and stabs both of the men in their eyes. One of them is stabbed using the knife of decay and the other is stabbed using her personal dagger.

She removes her knives from their faces. As a result, one of them bleeds all over the floor, their blood flowing from their eye socket while the other simply appears as if they’re a puppet that has had their strings cut.

This leaves only one of them. She looks towards the fourth man, her personal blade dripping while her decaying blade is covered in rotted flesh and blood. The last man of Cariha’s group to remain alive doesn't fully understand this turn of events. To be killed was one thing but the man had always expected to be killed by a guard or at least a demihuman man.

Yet, to be killed by a demihuman woman, it makes his mind go blank. He doesn’t understand. He doesn't want to die like this.

He raises his hands towards Sigvor, not even thinking of drawing his weapon after seeing three of his compatriots dead on the ground in front of him.

"W-Wait! Wait, no, please hold on!"

Sigvor ignores his pleas as she runs towards him. The man at least tries to shield his head. So using her personal blade, she stabs him right below his heart where one of his kidneys are. She then stabs him once in his stomach with her personal blade. Then his liver with her decay knife. Then his right lung with his decay knife.

She grits her teeth in anger.

Sigvor had to kill the first three of them quickly. He was still going up against four men by herself. Even with her own strength, meager magic abilities, and assassin training, it is best that one dispatch their targets efficiently. Until one reaches the very last person who is guaranteed to die, one must remain vigilant.

She can take her anger out on the last one. After all, these four human men had not just entered this hallway for no reason. They had entered the hallway to try and kill her best friend while also kidnapping a child that they would use for a ritual sacrifice. It would not be too much for her to take out her anger on the last of them who is just as guilty as every other member.

"N-No… No… You’re… You’re killing me."

His last words would give a stranger a sad feeling in their heart, at least when heard in a context vacuum. Though Sigvor doesn’t care in the slightest. She breathes raggedly having finally let out a bit of her hatred. The man’s body is covered with stab wounds however he doesn’t bleed from all of them.

In fact, he’s actually still alive. His heart pumps and she hasn’t nicked any important arteries. The Twin Moons terrorist feels his body become colder and colder, however his mind is still lucid since Sigvor had decided not to strike his head. His trembling eyes look at her face. His ears can comprehend her words.

“Do you even realize what you were about to do? You were about to kill my friend, my best friend. Why were you about to do that? Why? Because you wanted to kidnap a child to use in some twisted ritual. But… that’s all over now.”

Sigvor stares directly into the man’s eyes as sweat falls down his brows. Her eyes are deliriously manic. She smiles widely, a smile that she would never show Dzan, one that extends from ear to ear.

In her previous profession, she had taken some pleasure in her work every so often. The pleasure that she takes in killing is a part of her that she doesn’t entirely abhor. Yet, she still would prefer not to show this side of herself to the people important to her.

“I killed them. I killed them all. The boy’s mother is fine, just fine. Sure, you know, her face still looks kinda bad, but you should see the corpse of the woman who did that to her! Ha! She’s dead! The three women who were helping her! Dead, dead, dead! They’re all dead, just like your pathetic friends here!”

The man looks at her eyes and starts to cry. Snot pours down his nose. He truly doesn’t understand what he has done to deserve this outcome. His devotion to the Twin Moons is not shallow. He truly believes that he is doing the work of his Lord. Sigvor can see that kind of thinking in his mind, that rationalization of his actions.

Even in his death, he believes he has only done what needed to be done.

He thought that he was earning good karma perhaps. Yet all that Sigvor sees in his face is someone who has fallen so far that their sense of right and wrong is completely skewed. He grits her teeth in both anger and sadness at seeing a glimpse into this person’s mind.

But, he pushes past those lingering doubts and laughs once again at the man’s pain. He shows the man the knife that she had retrieved from that evil woman.

“You know, I am glad that I got this knife. What a wonderful new weapon. I wonder how much it must have cost. And now it’s being used on you, hah! Aw, you little baby…” Sigvor strokes the side of the dying man’s face, drawing attention to his sobbing. The man would try to back away if he could but his limbs are non functional.
