The brunette human woman, Karise Autumn, finishes speaking to her enthusiastic crowd. Her appearance is quite reserved, yet stylish; she is a beautiful, young woman. She looks down at her victim, the middle aged man bleeding from his nose.
This demihuman pestilence on the ground here, did not in fact rob her. However, she didn't like his face when he was walking through the crowd and disdainfully watching the human supremacists. She decided to pick him for the purposes of the Twin Moons.
She and her partner within the Twin Moons, Orin Lodda, a tall, blonde warrior, plans to watch the man for a couple minutes before bumping into him and accusing him of grabbing Karise’s body. It was thought of as an easy way to lead some of the cattle out of the square to where they needed to be.
In times past, there would be many demihumans who were lynched in this manner. Someone had a grudge on a specific demihuman person, and decided that the easiest way to carry out vengeance was to accuse them of something. A mob would be formed that would burn the demihuman individual, and sometimes their family, at the stake.
In the moment however, Karise decided to change her story, choosing to pretend the demihuman man was a pickpocket trying to grab her coin pouch, instead of just a creep. This crowd of people would kill someone she accused of being a sexual predator.
Someone like this man could serve her as an interesting toy. Karise has quite the sadistic streak and enjoys torturing and killing demihumans. This man in particular reminds her of her father, though he may be a demihuman mongrel. She both loved, respected and hated her father. Perhaps this middle aged man could be used to vent some of those mixed feelings safely.
After all this is done I can take my time, let loose… have some fun. What should I get the crowd to do to him right now though? Cut off his hands? Give him a few cuts? Well, whatever, at least it’s fine I changed the script; it all worked out. I hope Orin's not too unhappy about it.
She looks over at the blonde man and believes he has no real complaints. After all, most people were not fond of pickpockets either, though she doubts many of the newborn babes around her would have stepped up to humiliate their assailant in public the way she and Orin had.
This crop of poser human supremacists around here was so annoying to her.
Shouldn't they grow some balls already? What's wrong with them? So few of them are even fighting the beasties… I wonder how many demihumans have even died out here today? I'd be surprised if the number was over ten, and it's all thanks to these weak-willed failures. Ugh, it's humans like this that make the true pious sick.
Human supremacists, like the ones out here today, would not have been allowed to join the Twin Moons. They're the type of people to make excuses not to give their lives when the moment of truth arrives.
But, she was good at convincing them to accompany her out of the square. Maybe even thirty extra people can be brought out to where her group is gathered now.
Karise had given her inciting speech; she had worked on giving speeches and sermons a few times during her training at the Twin Moons. Her senior female members taught the younger girls how to train their bodies in physical combat, while also teaching them how to speak to and guide audiences when the need arose.
The demihuman man tries to come to his senses and get off the ground; Karise decides to kick him in the gut. He falls back down and decides to stay down. Actually, no, he just passed out from the pain.
“...Don’t be too hard on him. It would be pointless if he died out here, you know?” Orin chides. She simply nods and stares at the crowd once again. She smiles genially.
Karise is good at this part. Talking to people and convincing them to go further than they might have gone initially… The idea always excited her. As if she were a beautiful devil whispering sweet things into their ears, though in her case, she was using her talents to bring them to the righteous side for humanity’s sake.
All those people looking at you, listening to you, unconsciously memorizing your face. Maybe in another life I could have been a choir leader… If I was born a man, I could have been a priest… Well, a noble man anyways… Oh great, now you made yourself feel bad. Nice going, Karise, nice going.

The crowd murmurs and talks amongst themselves as Karise plans how they should continue to make use of this demihuman man. If all goes well, she can personally kill him after their leader carries out his plan. She likes the idea of being the last person this man sees before he dies.
Honestly, it should be a privilege for him, shouldn't it? To see her face before the moment his heart stops.
What a nice memory on his way to hell. I hope whatever the leader has planned doesn't take too much–
Orin gestures to her to look in a certain direction. She sees two people walking forward out of the crowd. One of them is a demihuman. However, she looks like she's shivering in fear.
Orin's fear spell seems to be working. The man next to her is a human, half a head taller than Karise with black hair and light brown eyes. His clothes, a red shirt, dark blue pants with suspenders, make him look somewhat odd.
What kind of style is that? It's not very common in Tritol, is it? Not a bad look… Why's he coming out here with that ugly eared whore?
She carefully sizes up Ajax. He doesn't look like a threat that Orin can't handle, actually Karise could handle him as well. She's not a novice, though not as strong as Orin, a trained mercenary who has killed many more than she has. This strange human with a demihuman by his side in this crowd… She doesn't have the symbol of ownership. Is he her friend?
The man clears his throat.
"My friend here wants to heal that person. Move." His voice isn't very deep, his presence isn't at all intimidating, and his body looks even weaker up close.
Yet, where did he get his confidence to walk up to Karise so brazenly and demand that? The demihuman woman next to him looks quite surprised as well. She stares at him as if he's lost his mind.
"Ajax, I–"
"It's ok, Prisca, we're all adults here, I'm just talking to these two. I'll use my words first, exhaust all options, you know."
"Are you sure you want to–"
"Just wait for your opportunity, leave this part to me."
He speaks calmly with the woman, turning his head to smile at her before turning to face Orin and Karise once again. His face turns neutral once again. He does not repeat himself.
