During the trip, Fang Lin spent 3 hours extracting a lot of information about the Fang Clan from Fang Xiushang. Fang Lin nodded, satisfied with what he got. Aside from these information, Fang Lin also asked Fang Xiushang about his mannerisms, ways of speech and his current relations. This was to give Fang Lin a better way to portray Fang Xiushang.
But then, Fang Lin realized that even if he knew all this, the remaining time was not enough for him to practice being Fang Xiushang. Fang Lin was not yet at the level comparable to Wang Hao.
He’s just not that shameless enough.
Thus, he decided to use Fang Xiushang as a live guide.
To force him to do that, he fed Fang Xiushang a poison pill. If Fang Xiushang wants the antidote for that pill, he has to assist Fang Lin on his impersonation. That means Fang Xiushang has to talk to Fang Lin if he needs some assistance in case his cover will be in danger of being blown.
Even though it will be a little irritating, this is the best way for Fang Lin to complete his impersonation.
At first, Fang XIushang vehemently opposed to be a live guide. But once he realized that the poison pill brings death by melting his organs and bones, he agreed immediately. Both of them swore with their dao souls to be sure.
Once he had fixed that, Fang Lin, now in the face of Fang Xiushang, along with his companions, arrived at the border of the Solstice Kingdom.
Fang Xiushang then whispered urgently,
“Quick! You must act like me now! Stand tall! Chin up! Show those cultivators guarding the border that Fang Xiushang is the real deal!”
“Man, this is how you think of presenting yourself every day? How narcissistic.”
“Just do it!”
Fang Lin already started regretting letting Fang Xiushang speak. But he had no time to mull about it as three white-robed cultivators approached the spirit ship. From the robes they wore, it was obvious they were there to screen those who will enter inside the Solstice Kingdom.
“Halt! Show us your identities!” Once Fang Lin heard their demands, his complacent expression changed to an arrogant one. He now looked like as if the lives of the ordinary cultivators were below his. This was clearly Fang Xiushang’s normal expression!
“You dare stop me, the great Fang Xiushang?” Fang Lin swaggered out of his ship, with his robes swishing elegantly behind him. His face held disdain as he stared at the guards. “Are you sure delaying me is the best thing to do?”
Fang Lin could barely stop himself from cringing from such a corny speech. But he endured it, all for the sake of the stone fragments.
The guards were no idiots. Once they saw the spirit ship and his familiar face, all of them bowed slightly as they said,
“Greetings, Fang Xiushang!”
“Hmmph! That’s more like it!” Fang Lin then waved his hands dismissively, just to add some dramatic flair.
“Now scram from my sight! I want to enter!”
Even though they have some complaints with his attitude, the guards still let Fang Lin and his spirit ship enter. They can only give Fang Lin some angry looks as he left.
“Did I do it too much?” Fang Lin shivered as he felt the malevolent looks given by those guards. He could not help but cry and laugh when he realized his identity now might put him in more danger than what he could expect! Fang Xiushang’s overbearing attitude will definitely piss a lot of people later.
And even if he does not want to, Fang Lin must act like that later, or else his cover will be blown.
“What? Feeling scared?” Fang Xiushang snickered, clearly pleased with Fang Lin’s distress. Upon seeing this, Fang Lin was barely able to suppress his anger.
“You knew this was going to happen!” So that was the reason Fang XIushang had no qualms on helping Fang Lin take his identity. With Fang Xiushang’s attitude, Fang Lin will surely be in trouble later.
“In that case, I will not be listening to you anymore!” Fang Lin decided that he will just bullshit his way through. He extended his qi, attempting to silence Fang Xiushang. But before Fang Lin could seal Fang XIushang’s mouth, he paused as his brain started to process something.
He squinted his eyes as Fang Yu’s link to him got stabilized. The reason for it to be unstable earlier was because of time manipulation.

Three hours earlier, Fang Lin felt that Fang Yu’s time perception dramatically slowed compared to him. It was as if time stopped for Fang Yu while Fang Lin still felt his time perception working normally. Through his mental calculations, he determined that Fang Yu’s time slowed down by 10,800 times compared to Fang Lin.
That means that the three hours Fang Lin spent in travelling will just be equivalent to a second for Fang Yu. As for what caused it, Fang Lin was sure it was because of the Underworld Suppressing Formation.
At that time, Fang Lin was deeply worried. If he enters the Solstice Kingdom with time slowed dramatically, it will only take 7 seconds inside before the punishers enter the Kingdom too!
But then Fang Lin remembered that such feats require massive amount of energy. As such, there must be a time limit for the formation.
So Fang Lin decided to see what is the time limit.
And from what he can see, the formation can only sustain the time dilation for a second, equivalent to three hours outside the Solstice Kingdom. And from his observations along with Fang Yu, Fang Lin determined that the time slowing effect can be used again after three hours.
Fang Lin cursed as he realized his one-day agreement with the punishers was starting to get unfair against him now. He now had to double his efforts if he wants to succeed.
To add to his woes, he felt with his stone fragment that the remaining two fragment holders entered the Kingdom. One stopped by near the edge, while the other one was further inside. Both of them stopped moving, as it they were occupied with something.
Fang Lin sighed as he realized he already had a fight waiting for him. He entered the spirit ship and he personally drove it to enter the Solstice Kingdom.
“Bloop!”
The resistance Fang Lin felt from entering the formations covering the Kingdom felt like a wet finger entering a bubble. His ship was not rejected, instead it was allowed in with some resistance. Due to some unknown factors though it took him 10 minutes to full bypass the formations.
Once he was in the Solstice Kingdom, Fang Lin tensed, staring at the fragment holders. He sighed in relief when he saw the fragment holder at the edge was facing Ling Tian, while the other one was still not budging from its location. With the other fragment holders clearly busy, Fang Lin felt that now was his chance to communicate with the Fang Clan members currently inside the Solstice Kingdom.
Just as Fang Lin was about to look for the Fang Clan members, his expression turned solemn when he saw the ambush laid for Fang Yu and Long Juo! Fang Lin heard everything from Tang Li’s kidnapping until the part where Fang Yu and Long Juo caught up with the woman with the bone whip.
Fang Lin and Long Juo were about to fight her when suddenly, two women who looked the same as the bone whip woman appeared. Now, they were facing three identical women who each held a bone whip. Fang Lin sighed as he decided to help them out first. He then steered the ship towards their location.
Fang Lin then let out an evil smile as he started conning Fang Xiushang!
“Oh Fang Xiushang, you should be happy, for I will be rescuing some pretty damsels under your name! Who knows, they might start liking you!”
When Fang Xiushang heard about the pretty damsels, he started to salivate. With Fang Lin’s imperial hardener, Fang Xiushang’s impotence got cured. If not for his desire to get stronger, he might have already f***ed the brains out of his partners.
With him suppressing his libido for half a year, hearing Fang Lin talking about beautiful ladies clouded Fang Xiushang’s reasoning skills.
“You will give me some good time alone with them right?” Right now, Fang XIushang was desperate to get laid. He thinks these ladies that Fang Lin will rescue will be his! After all, it was his face that will be used by Fang Lin to help them. Once Fang Xiushang was free, he can just seek them out and have ‘fun’ with them.
“Of course, you can do that once you are free. But....” Fang Lin’s voice started to trail away, as if he was hesitant about something.
“What the hell is your problem now huh?” Fang Xiushang was so agitated right now that he just wanted Fang Lin to start his rescue already. “Tell me, and I can help you!”
“Well... I will be fighting with you face. But my fighting skills are different from yours. I have to make it similar so that I will look authentic.....”
Fang Xiushang realized that Fang Lin wants the inheritance of the Million Hand Sword God! After all, most of Fang Xiushang’s techniques were based on that. Fang Lin using it will further cement his identity as Fang Xiushang.
But that was an inheritance and they cannot be just given out that casually! If it were the normal situation, Fang Xiushang will never agree to hand it over.
But right now, Fang Xiushang seems to be driven by his lust. He lost any apprehensions on Fang Lin as he gave him the scroll with the inheritance.
Upon receiving it, Fang Lin just muttered,
“Just as planned!”
Before Fang Lin rushed towards Fang Yu’s location, he sprinkled some aphrodisiac powder on Fang Xiushang. Fang Xiushang was not able to notice it with his cultivation being sealed.
This powder heightened his libido. Combined with his newly-cured impotence and Fang Lin’s flowery words, Fang Xiushang was easily duped to give out the inheritance of the Million Hand Sword God!
“Tsk tsk tsk, you really are destined to be unlucky with women.”
