My god, this ceremony was more boring than I thought it would be. The person who fought with my disciple wasn't a good fighter, but thank God it's over. Now all I have to do is get my disciple and go back to the sect.
I stood up and headed towards the exit.
"Wait Master."
When I heard that voice, I stopped.
"Master, what is happening? Why are you leaving?" A leader of a sect who was next to me asked.
"My disciple has a lot of training today, so I need to get her to my sect as soon as I can."
Even though she beat a veteran so easily, he still wants her to train more. A whisper went around. This master is tough.
Well, it's not like she beat someone strong. All she did was beat a loser, but I can't say that out loud.
"I get it," the boy said, bowing, and then he let me out.
Once I got outside, I quickly ran to find my disciple.
I found her with some other people who were afraid to get close to her for some reason.
"My master, you saw me, I did what you said, and I won by showing who's in charge," she said as soon as she saw me, her eyes full of hope, waiting to be praised.
"You were amazing, my disciple," I answered her.
"Thank you, my master."
Even if she didn't do something very badass, it's always nice to compliment her at times like this.
I don't want her to feel bad, because if she does, she might stop training hard.
"Now come along; we must leave immediately."
"Yes, Master," she replied, and followed me.

When we got to the temple late in the afternoon, I told her to do some light training and read some books.
She needs to rest for a while before she goes back to training hard.
"Master, there's still something I don't get," my disciple told me while she was training.
"Ask away."
"I still don't get how you saw right through me and what your real goal was."
She started off with all these hard questions that I don't know how to answer.
"Well, see, I came from far away to see how easy it is to get past your strength. As for my ultimate goal, it is..."
Damn, I can't think of anything.
If I tell her about my plan, she'll probably laugh at me.
How can I tell her that what I want to do is so silly?

She asked me again, "What's your goal?" with starry eyes, like she was listening to something important.
"Listen, Rosalina, all I want to do is help people like you who are lost and wronged."
She was moved by my answer, "You are so cool!"
"Thanks, I guess."
Rosalina is such an innocent kid. She thinks everything I do has meaning, when really nothing matters except being the coolest.
"Thank you, master. Before I met you, I always thought I was useless. Thank you very much," she said with almost teary eyes.
Damn, now I feel bad that I also thought she was useless.
"When you told me I was special, I was so happy, but I was still scared. Then you showed me that I really was special," she continued.
"There's no need to thank me."
Please stop; I'm dying from my guilt.
"I'll never forget that you were the first person to reach out to me."
This conversation is getting awkward.
I should have just kept quiet.
"So, um, why did you ask me those questions earlier?"
"Oh, um, well, I wanted to understand more about you and your goals."
"My goals?"
"Yeah, master, you've done so much for me that I wanted to help you reach your goals."
"Thank you."
Now I know I can't say what I really want because it would be too embarrassing.
A/N: Poor MC, it's hard to explain such a childish dream when someone is looking at you with so much expectation.
