The Curse of Curious Purpose

Erec finds himself on a ship in the middle of a never ending storm. The captain is a fool, the quartermaster wants him dead and he has no idea who he is. All he remembers is his name and that this life is a second chance. A second chance that he owes someone a favour for in return. Despite this Erec  knows that he can overcome his dire circumstances, because apart from the second chance, he has been granted with another gift. Supreme competence. He knows that he is the absolute best person in the world at whatever he puts his mind to.

Agace, the goddess of curses and bargains messed up. All she wanted to do was have a little fun but as a result her brother-in-law Absolon the god of war, peace and leadership banished her to the mortal world. Her godly powers are denied her. The only cards she has left to play are an unnamed favour from the mortal she was playing with and an ability to see the potential in those around her. Using these abilities she has to find a way to make that same mortal fall in love with her. If she can not, then she is doomed to the mortal plain, for the rest of her existence. 

Will Erec be able to use his gifts to stay alive in a dangerous world. Will Agace find her way back to the heavenly abode. Will both of their curses lead to unexpected ends?
