Crap! I let my guard down and fell asleep infront of that mysterious being!!

I quickly got up, looked around and noticed I was in my tent.

“Huh...?” was the only thing that managed to escape from my lips.

“Ah, it seems that you are awake now, dear mortal.”

That voice..! I quickly looked behind me and I saw her... The mysterious woman in that ruin! She's inside my tent! Why is she here?! More importantly how did I get here! And also... Judging by her position... And our distance.. don't tell me I...

“You look like you've seen something horrifying..”

“..how?”

“Hmm? Ah, If your asking how you are here, then I brought you here... It's very uncomfortable down there afterall.”

“As for your first question.” she quickly said, cutting me off. “You actually saved me from my imprisonment... I cannot open that door, and when you opened it, you saved me from that... Uhh... “Yes? No? Kind off? Well since you saved me you have to help me return to my former glory...”

“Well... Judging by what my eyes see... When you released me there was a... Uhh... An curse spread towards the whole planet... It's not really a curse but that's what the... Deities call it anyways.”

“So there is a curse!” well shit... It's nothing bad right..?

“Well, kind off? My power spread all around the world affecting around a third of humanity from what I see... Those that got affected... Ends up with magic, Telekinesis, Teleportation, Transformation, Pyrokinesis, abilities like that... There are more but It'd take forever to spell them out.”

Wait... So the curse... Turned the world into fiction? Is that it? She said I had to help her... Uhh... What was it again? Return to her former glory?

“What did you mean when you said I had to help you return to your former glory?”

“Ah... Well, I was told to create an contract with the person who manages to free me from my imprisonment... Thru that contact I can slowly get my abilities back.”

“So... I'm supposed to agree to a contract with a... Uhh... What are you exactly?”

“Well... I assume I am now a... But... Ah well, in the past I am called a Celestial.”

Celestial...

“Did you live in the sky or something?”

“Nope... It's merely what my race is called... Although I doubt I am still a Celestial, but let's not talk about that.”

“I see... So... About that contact... What's in it for me?”

“Well... Hmm... The Curse gave you the ability to steal other abilities, although you can only store 3 of those abilities, and must give away the others if you wish to get a ability you fancy but you already have three, excluding the ability to steal other abilities... Anyways, a normal mortal can only get one ability since their body is weak... It's been thousands of years after all... And their body can't take the burden of claiming more than one.”

“Wait... So won't my body also be weak for more than 1 ability?”

“From the looks of it, no, anyways, if you create an contract with me, that ability of yours will break the limit, how? There will be a link between us, thru that link you can take a few of my powers and you'll be able to strengthen your body for the burden of the curse... An thru that ability of yours, I can slowly claim my powers that spread all over... So practically you get power in exchange for helping me... Your powers have a condition tho... but let's talk about that later, Oh and I become your guardian? You can tell me to do almost anything and I'll do it... And when I manage to reclaim my sealed powers, ask for a wish and I shall grant it... Although there are limits of what I can do...”

“I see... I'm not really keen on becoming powerful but...”

It kind of sounds interesting and... Maybe I can use this so my parents would leave me alone? Although... I don't really want to return... 

“Is there any catches?”

“Well... You'll become immortal... You can stop aging when you want to and... I guess don't pry into things I don't want you to know? I have my plans on... Recreating my fallen Empire but I don't think I will act on it yet...”
