‘Where the heck did Amelia go then..?’ (Ashleen) thinks to herself as she remembers the immortal saying something related to them having a guardian/protector relationship.

“Ashleen? You ok? You have a weird expression in your face..”(Connor) said, he was sitting down on the floor right infront of Ashleen, and just stares at her.

“Hmm? Ah yeah... I just remembered something...” (Ashleen) figured it would be best if Connor did not know about Amelia for now. “By the way, could you explain it in more detail? About the abilities I mean... When did it start?” she decided it would be best if she finds out how long she was asleep for.

“Around yesterday... 8 or so hours after you texted that you'll get out of your home, which by the way, kind of did a bit of emotional damage to me.”(Connor) said, faking a tear.

“Eh? Why?” (Ashleen) tried to remember the events that happened yesterday, which wasn't that long ago.

“Well you left because you got engaged to me~ do you hate me or something?”(Connor) had a hint of playfulness in his tone.

“Well... You did say that I might need it sooner than I think... Plus I only wanted to get a breather..” (Ashleen) just rolled her eyes at Connor's tone.

“Ah well... Anyways I'm here to pick you up so your parents won't find you.” (Connor) decided to change the topic instead.

“And where will I be staying? I can't stay with you, your parents also agreed to the Engagement after all...” (Ashleen) just looked at Connor with questioning eyes.

“About that... I hope you don't mind... I uhh.. asked Cameron and Candice for help... So yeah, they suggested you stay with them for a while...”(Connor) said, looking away.

“What..? Why– it's well known that Cameron... Actually that's a good idea... They wouldn't tell anyone after all... Hmm... It's a pretty good idea, Connor.”(Ashleen) said with a smile.

“I'm glad you think so... Well... Let's store your belongings...”(Connor) said as he looked back at Ashleen.

“Store?”(Ashleen) asked as Connor stood up.

“Yeah... Well you know how my power is spatial manipulation or something like that right? I can create my own inventory from anime! Well actually, I have no idea as to what I have in there so... Yeah, that's the only downside.”(Connor) replied as he walked out of the tent while Ashleen just followed him.

“That's cool...”(Ashleen) said... ‘Amelia said I can take the abilities of others... I wonder if I should... No! Connor is a good friend of mine... Hmm... I should probably take other abilities only when necessary... Or stuff might get complicated...’ she thought while Connor stored all of her items.

“Alright! Hold my hand.”(Connor) said with a smile.

“Why should I?”(Ashleen) just glared at him playfully...

“So I can teleport us both,”(Connor) said, laughing a bit as he ignores Ashleen's glare.

“Hmm ok?”(Ashleen) drops her glare and gives Connor her right hand, Connor takes it but stops and just stared at it for a while.

“Hey Ashleen, did you always have a tattoo?”(Connor) asked as he pointed at Ashleen's wrist, there was a lion tattoo with a crown that has a sun symbol on it, the lion was standing on it's back legs while it's front legs was in the air while a sword with a star symbol on it's hilt seems to be piercing it from it's heart, the edge of the sword on the other side had a crown with a moon symbol hanging from it.

‘Eh? What's this?’(Ashleen) thought as she stared at the tattoo on her wrist, ‘the only explanation I can think of is.. well.. Amelia.’

“Ashleen?”(Connor) asked.

“Uhh, yeah?”(Ashleen) got lost in her thoughts for a moment, and Connor's question seems to have pulled her out of it.

“Did you always have a tattoo or not?”(Connor) asked her again.

“Umm no... My parents would never agree to it... It's probably connected to the uhh.. you know? The sudden emergence of supernatural abilities...”(Ashleen) said, technically it's not false... Since Amelia seems to be the cause of it, plus... ‘It's probably related to my contract with her...’ Ashleen thought.

“Hmm... Probably, there were a few people whose appearance changed a bit... So yeah that makes sense...”(Connor) said, not pressing in any further since it seems like a logical explanation due to their current circumstances.

“Yeah... Now... Are you gonna teleport us or what?”(Ashleen) said, slightly bumping Connor's upper arm with her left fist in the process.

“Ah right!”(Connor) said as he quickly closed his eyes and focused on teleporting them.

 “Blergh..”(Ashleen) throws up, it seems that the sudden movement from space took a toll on her.

“There there..”(Connor) said while patting her back, meanwhile, a pair of twins, a male and a female, with Prismarine colored hair and aqua blue eyes stared at them, they were in some type of garden behind someone's house.

“Phew... Thanks... Well that was certainly not a pleasant experience..”(Ashleen) said as the girl, who is named Candice, gave her a handkerchief, which she happily used to wipe her mouth a bit.

“Well it most certainly doesn't look like it's a nice one..”(Cameron), which is the name of the boy, said, scratching the back of his head a bit.

“Well why don't we all go inside for now..?”(Candice) said with a smile directed to everybody.

“A great idea! Don't mind me as I act upon it.”(Ashleen) said as she walks inside the house, while the others just laughs at her but follows.

“First of, I'm sorry for what happened to you Ash, second, you can stay here for as long as you like, there's a guest bedroom, it will be your bedroom for now, third, don't mind my parents, they won't tell your parents about it, you already know how much they dislike them for.. well, their attitude towards you.”(Cameron) said, smiling at Ashleen in the process.

“Aha thanks dude... I'll owe you guys one...”(Ashleen) said as she directed her gaze to the interesting wall.

“No problem! Want me to bring you to your room then?”(Cameron) said as he walked towards Ashleen.

“Actually brother.”(Candice) said as she walks between them, “Why don't I bring her there instead? Don't you still have to cook? Papa and Dad might scold you, you know?”(Candice) said, already taking Ashleen's hand and dragging her to the guest room, “Oh and just leave her stuff there Connor! We'll take care of it later!”(Candice) yelled at him as she closes the door of the guest room.

“Well thanks... I don't know how I should stop your brothers advances... You truly helped me back there.”(Ashleen) said with a laugh.

“No problem! Just stick to your promise that you'll helped me with that idiot.”(Candice) just smiles at her as she sat down the bed and gestured Ashleen to sit down with her.

Ashleen, sitting down nearby Candice, replied, “Well, he's pretty dense towards the clues so it might be hard, but hey, he just recently broke up with that cheater, so you might have a chance actually.”(Ashleen)

“I guess that's true”(Candice) just smiled at her, conflicted on what emotion she should show about Connor's recent break up.

“Ah... You don't have to hide your emotions from me, I won't judge.”(Ashleen) said, giggling a little.

“Ah sorry about that.”(Candice) said as she just settles for a relieved expression.

“Well anyways, do you want anything? I doubt you dragged me here and stayed for a conversation just for that?”(Ashleen) asked her.

“Ah right... I almost forgot...”(Candice) said, gulping a bit. “Ashleen... Just what type of power did you get.”(Candice) said with a serious expression.
