That day, and around noon, Kai was looking at the sky and thinking about how much of an idiot he had been. A few hours ago, he had lost every single material possession that he had due to the debts that his family had. Despite that, he smiled while leaving the house where he grew up.

One month ago, his girlfriend left him once she learned how much debt he had inherited from his family… she had realized that they wouldn't have a free of worries feature if they stuck together, so she left him. Despite that, he smiled while understanding her side since that would be too much baggage for her.

Two months ago, his parents suddenly disappeared, and the investigation team determined that they were deceased. Thus, he got their debts. To send him to college, they made a lot of debts with the wrong people, and when they failed to pay them, they disappeared… Even so, when he received the news that the debt was now his to deal with, Kai smiled. Everything will work out in the end, he thought. He had friends to count on… until he didn't have anymore.

"What a load of bullshit…" Kai muttered while biting his lips and watching his reflection in the water below him.

Kai could see a young and yet good-looking and robust man. Short spiky light-brown hair and light brown eyes… his face was so filled with regret. A single choice made him reach that point. Even though they couldn't afford it, his parents insisted that he should go to college even in that bad economy… in the end, since he accepted that. His whole family lost everything, and now he was homeless, and his only possession was his clothes and backpack.

"Who was the moron who said that good things happen to good people?" Kai asked in a mocking tone. "Fucking shit… this planet should just explode…"

Kai was a bit older to think about those things, but even in his dark phase, he never thought like that. In the end, he couldn't help but grin while looking at his own reflection in the water.

"You sure look like a loser… Do you have a place to sleep tonight?" Kai asked while still grinning. "Fucking retard… It is time to stop being a boy and become a real man."

Despite the harshness of his situation. Kai felt pretty relaxed. By saying what he wanted when he wanted, he felt like he had taken a huge load from his shoulders. Now he didn't have to pretend anything anymore. What else could he lose? His life? It was too late to fear for his life when he didn't even know how he was going to get his next meal…

"Maybe I should see if bad things happen to bad people now…" Kai asked while grinning and then turned to the side in order to leave the area, but then he checked the river again when he saw something shining in the river.

After not so long, several other spots began to shine as well. It didn't take long for Kai to realize that there was nothing in the river, and the river was just reflecting the sky. When he looked up, he saw several meteorites crossing the sky…

"Maybe someone heard me when I said that this world should just explode…" Kai said while frowning. "Well, everyone, don't think too much about it. We only die once, after all. No need to fear it."

Under normal circumstances, Kai would have questioned his words and feelings, but he couldn't care less about them now. To the point that he didn't feel a single thing when some buildings were pierced by the meteors and began to fall. Things sure got noisy quickly, and Kai just watched everything like he wasn't involved in the mess at all.

The number of objects crossing the sky increased, and while they were small, they began to fall around the city. Kai wondered if one of them would fall nearby while thinking that he might make some money if he sold one of them… he got lucky when one flew straight at him, and even though it was madness, he raised his right hand to grab it.

The small stone landed on his hand, but Kai only felt a small push and a bit of heat. Once he checked the stone, it just disappeared, and then Kai felt a wave of power passing through his body.

"Hahahaha! Is this for real?" Kai laughed like he had heard the best joke of his life. "Is this really for real? What a time for weird things to start to happen…"

Kai immediately tried to use Sword Materialization, and then he found a blue ghost-like sword appearing in front of him. When he thought of making it move toward his hands, the sword obeyed. It wasn't heavy at all, and he couldn't sense much durability while holding it. It was probably a weapon that could only be used once… even if he could wield it.

"This is quite fun, but what should I use this for?" Kai asked. "Anyway, this sure was easy to use… somehow. I have the knowledge in my mind about how to do so…"

The meteors were still falling left and right. After not so long, Kai heard some tremors and a weird sound coming from the sky. After looking around for a while, Kai saw some weird things flying in the sky and in all directions. The sound of screams began to spread across the city, but they entered in one of his ears and then left through the other.

"Are those… bees?" Kai frowned while looking at the bees spreading across the city. "They seem to be rather big bees."

Kai saw numerous vehicles approaching and trying to cross the bridge. The exit of the city was in that direction, but Kai couldn't understand why they were running away. It wasn't every day that one could see a meteor rain from up close, but then Kai saw some bees chasing them.

"They are just a bit bigger. What is the big deal?" Kai asked when he saw the half meters long bees that were red and had stings on the same size as them.
