Chapter 46: Chapter 45. The Call

It took 2 hours to remove the mark from the back of Marigold and Sandersonia. It was very tiring work since the mark had infected a lot of cells.

Though after the mark was removed and the new skin appeared on her back, the trio of sisters were very happy and were even crying in happiness.

He created a door for them and then told them to head back to the island. The two sisters nodded and walked through it while thanking him continuously.

"T-Thank you, Alex." Hancock looked at him with tearful eyes. "I never thought that one day, I'll be able to get rid of it."

"I promised you, didn't I?" Alex simply chuckled and then motioned her to remove her blouse. "Today is the day, I'll fulfil my promise to you."

Hancock nodded at him with a pleased smile and then turned to look at Kaya. "Thanks for your help, Kaya."

"It was nothing, Hancock. After all, we both are part of his crew." Kaya simply smiled at her.

When she removed the blouse, Alex used his devil fruit once again and began to remove the cells from her back. While the girls were talking among themselves, Alex concentrated on removing the mark.

After another hour passed, Alex smiled slightly and motioned Kaya to use her healing powers. "From now on, there is no need for you to think about your childhood, Hancock. You are free from it."

Hancock glanced at her back by using the large mirror in the room in excitement. Tears began to fall from her eyes as she kept looking at the place where that mark was present.

"Alex…" Kaya called him out in a low tone. "Can you send me back now? I believe that she needs some alone time with you." Kaya could tell that Hancock was holding back her emotions, trying not to show them to him because of her presence.

"Okay." Alex nodded at her words and then created a spatial door for her. "Don't tell anyone about this, okay? Hancock doesn't want anyone to know about it, you understand this, right?" He said in a serious tone while kissing her forehead.

"Mmm, I understand that too," Kaya spoke with a chuckle before heading toward the spatial door. "I won't tell them anything about her." She spoke with an amused smile before walking through the spatial door.

When she was gone, Alex moved forward and stood behind Hancock who was still looking in the mirror. "How long are you gonna stare at yourself in the mirror? You might turn yourself into a stone statue."

Hearing his amused voice, Hancock turned back and hugged him tightly. Her head rested on his chest and she began to cry. "T-Thank you, Alex. I will be grateful to you for the rest of my life along with my sisters."

Alex calmly caressed her naked back with a small smile on his face. "Aren't you giving me a little too much credit, Hancock? I already asked you to become mine and in return, I was supposed to get rid of these marks so don't be thankful to me since it was a deal, to begin with." It wasn't that he didn't like her gratitude, however, she was showing gratitude to him even though this was a deal, something that he didn't prefer to be honest.

Hancock shook her head after hearing his words. "You don't understand the burden that it had on me and my sisters, Alex."

"Okay…?" Alex in the end simply nodded and then began to talk to her about miscellaneous things so she would stop crying.

After some time, she let him go and began to wear her blouse with a pleased smile on her face. When she was done, she leaned forward and tiptoed, giving him a quick kiss on the lips. "Thanks for getting rid of that mark, Alex."

Alex nodded while chuckling and then created a spatial door for her. "Remember your deal, Hancock." He spoke in an amused tone causing her cheeks to redden slightly.

"I haven't forgotten that……" She spoke with an embarrassed expression while walking toward the spatial door in front of her. Though when she was about to enter it, she turned back to gaze into his eyes. "I will be waiting for you…..!" Saying that she hurriedly walked inside, feeling her heartbeat rising at a very rapid pace.

He simply smiled in amusement before creating a spatial door for himself and then walked inside it.

He headed back to the ship where Law and his crew were still unconscious. Though he didn't plan to wake them up so early, especially since he needed to do some things.

He extracted the Ope-Ope no mi from his body and then ate his previous lightning devil fruit. After that, he began to use the Hypnosis skill on Law and his crew members.

With that done, he woke them up while taking their ship back to Sabaody Archipelago. He returned the devil fruit that he had brought from Law and then told him to wait for a month before making obvious moves against Doflamingo.

He then created a spatial door for himself and passed through it, reaching the underground city that was on the moon.

"So what's your view on this?" Alex stood behind Franky who was busy, looking into one of the automata bodies. "Do you think that you can upgrade them like how you upgraded yourself?"

"It wouldn't be easy…." Franky replied with a serious expression, inspecting every part of the automata. "Though I am 100% sure that I can upgrade them to the same level as mine, however, after that, I would either need help or some kind of blueprints."

"Hmmm….." Alex also began to look through the various parts of the automata with a calm expression. "Don't worry, I have a guy in my mind who can help you and I'm here with you as well so we'll be able to pull this off."

"Mmmm." Franky nodded at his words and once again began to inspect the different parts while Alex headed toward the different sides.

On the other side, Gairam was busy creating small cannons with strong explosive power. There was a lot of stuff on the ground in front of him that he was using constantly.

Alex stood some distance away from him and curiously watched him testing his new cannons. "How long are you gonna take to create this stuff?"

"I still need some time, captain," Gairam replied calmly, not even turning back to look at him. "After all, I'm trying to create cannons that we could fit in those automata bodies. I don't want my cannons to be weak which is why I'm taking so much time."

"I understand." Alex nodded at his words and began to walk away. "By the way, I'll be looking forward to seeing the destruction that these cannons would cause in the future."

Saying that he created a spatial door for himself to head back to the training island to meet the girls.

A week passed and nothing major happened however it soon changed when he received a call on the Den-Den Mushi that was given to him by the Marines.

{The execution of Portgas D Ace will happen after two days. Make sure to reach the Marine Headquarters before that. We are planning a war against Whitebeard.}

This was what he heard and then the call was ended by the other side, not giving him any chance to speak. He wasn't mad about it instead hearing the news, he couldn't help but smile.

"They informed me only 2 days before the war unlike what was shown in the anime….." He mumbled with a confused expression however, in the end, he didn't pay much attention to such little details.

He was sure that the Marines now knew that Hancock had joined him since the entire island was flying for more than a week. Everyone on the sea knows that there is only a single devil fruit that can remove an entire island from the sea without making much disturbance.

This also caused him to remember a very important thing. "Where did Kuma send Luffy…..?" The Amazon Lily was in the sky way before the Sabaody event happened so he wondered if Kuma mistakenly kill the son of his leader.

Though considering the luck Luffy, something like this was almost impossible to happen. He was sure that someone might have saved him when that guy was drowning in the Calm Belt.

He shook his head to get rid of the unnecessary thoughts and then began to talk with the girls, informing them that he would be away for some days.

After that, he flew to the island where Hancock was and told her to head to the Marine Headquarters to prepare for war. He created a spatial door for her which would lead her to the Marine Headquarters directly.

He didn't know the reason why he was informed so late about the war however he had a guess, they might have told him so late caused they knew that he could reach that place in the least time, unlike the other Warlords who were spread all over the Grand Line.

Taking out his personal Den-Den Mushi, he dialled a specific number that belonged to the Blackbeard pirates.

{Yes, captain.}

"Did you receive the call from the Marines?"

{I did receive several calls from them, captain.}

"What did you then?"

{Of course, I didn't pick it up just like you had ordered me to.}

"Good. You know where you need to head to, right?"

{Wiiihahaha, I know that.}

Alex then ended the call and put the Den-Den Mushi back in the system storage. He then created a spatial door in front of him and passed through it, ready to check out the place where the worst criminals are chained by the World Government.

"Why do you have that kind of expression, Sengoku? Do you perhaps wish to use the bathroom?" Garp said with an amused smile while eating rice crackers.

"You don't have any pressure on your shoulders, Garp. You won't understand my situation." Sengoku said in an annoyed tone however he regretted saying those words when he noticed the dark expression on Garp's face. "We need to fight the strongest man and bring him down in this war no matter what happens. That guy might be getting old however don't forget that he still holds the title of the strongest man."

"I'm sure that those 5 stupid guys would tell you to pay more attention to him rather than Whitebeard." Garp angrily said, clenching his fist tightly.

Sengoku would have normally scolded him for his way of addressing the 5 elders however today, he didn't as he knew what his old friend was going through.

"Red-haired Shanks and Kaido have started to fight as well….." Sengoku spoke with a tired expression while messaging his forehead. "Boa Hancock, that proud woman who never put a man in her eyes has somehow joined that Alex."

"Bwahahaha!!" Garp began to laugh out loud after hearing those words. "That brat managed to woo that woman? He sure is very capable." Saying that he once again began to laugh causing Sengoku to grit his teeth in anger.

"Don't take it lightly, Garp! They both are threats to us and now that they have joined hands, it's a bad thing for us." Sengoku shouted however his words didn't have any impact on Garp who began to laugh even more loudly than before. "Shut Up, You Bastard!"

"Bwahahahaha…!!"
