"Can you let me finish next time?!" Ghel was talking loudly to Lala while looking at his new item, shoes! Sure they were only a pair of leather shoes made by some animal but it was clothes!
Lala was drawing circles on the ground while looking ashamed. When Ghel saw this after finishing inspecting his new trophy did he sigh internly.
"Fine fine, at least you catched me. Why do you look so down? Everything is good!" Ghel didn't forget that this was his first summon, specialy her realm! If he can go into the civilized world one day he would have a big bodyguard!
Now that he knew that there were even other continents he became much more keen to go out!
Lala looked at Ghel and didn't respond. It wasn't about kicking him. It was an entire different story.
"Now that your daily quest is done. What do you do the rest of the day?" She wanted to know. When he told her about the last hundred days he never said anything about it.
"Eh? Mostly nothing, if I'm hungry i look for food." Ghel wasn't proud of it but what could he do? The second day did he go out and wander. He was almost met with death when a beast was chasing him!
Lala already expected this answer. "Can't do. First off, you are weak! How are you still in the Mortal realm?"
Ghel was downcasted when he heard that, it wasn't like he wanted to! Meaningless of what he tried or his parents did, he cpuldn't use one ounce of energy or magic! He only trained his body a bit. Else he would have been dead here long ago.
"I just can't.. I can't use energy or magic. We tried everything at home but nothing worked."
Lala saw the emotion on Ghel and flew to his back. "Don't move." Her background wasn't simple. She had to learn many things back at her home, on command of her mother.
Ghel did as told and didn't move. Slowly did a cold sensation come through the back of his head down to his toes and back up. When the sensation vanished did he still not move and wait for her judgment. She was in the Mountain realm, maybe she had an answer.
When several minutes passed did he slowly became annoyed. "And?"
Still no reply? He turned his head and saw Lala with an even more annoyed facial expression than him.
"What? You were silent for so long! Should I play statue for hours?"
"Who told you you can't use magic or train in energy? Show me that bastard! You have a better foundation for ice magic than me!" She was royaly annoyed. Lala was heralded as the child of the Ice Goddes back on the Ice Continent. Now she found someone who had a more intimate connection to ice then her?
Ghel was speechless. "But I can-"
"Shut up and listen. You know the primary rules for magic and energy, right?" If this wasn't her master she would have already kicked his head in. Should she just ignore the backlash of her master dying?
"Yes?" Ghel had read more than enough books, he would even dare to say that he was more proficient than some who could use it.
"Go ahead and tell me! One wrong word and you fly!" He trembled for a bit, why did this girl became so scary suddenly? Wait, how old was she even?

"Energy is the basic of life, everything has energy. It moves the world around us and ourself. That doesn't mean that anybody could use it though. For example animals. As long as animals didn't know how or were physicly incable to use energy, they just couldn't.
When an animal could use energy they would became beast. As for-."
"Just stop there. This continent is even more backwater than I though." Lala twirled around in the air and drew lines in the air. When she was finished did a picture float before Ghel which he somewhat understood.
"The magic diagram? What does this have to do with energy?" Ghel knew that energy was used in magic but weren't the properties different?
"Everything. The only point you got right was that energy exists everywhere.
First of, magic and energy are the same. Look at energy like some kind of white sheet. Now, this sheet has depending on the being some more holes or less. That is the simple reason why in your continent not everybody can use energy. Or specific said, yourself.
For the ocean realm you have to fill up the space on the sheet with holes. You have to guide and see which places need filling. That is why its called ocean realm. You need to make waves after wave to fill the places.
Get it till now?"
Lala tried it to explain as simple as possible. She didn't know Ghel long but he didn't seem like the brightest bulb in the room.
Ghel was quiet for a moment before he closed his eyes. He tried to feel inside him what she meant.
He was more than stunnend when he felt energy moving inside of him. Everytime he tried to do this it was like he was a blank sheet, like there was no ink.
Sheet? Ink? Could it be? If his thought was true he would have an ultimate cheat!
He used the energy he felt and began nodging it gently towards the bottom. One rule of energy training was starting with the top of the body!
His body began to vibrate and the surroundings began to drop in temperature. Ghel didn't realize it but Lana who was beside him had big eyes.
After a minute or two did he exhale some smoke and open his eyes. There was now a spark in them which wasn't there before.
"Wow! I feel...reborn! So this is what training in energy is like! Teacher Lala, continue please?"
Lala didn't know what to say. Her mind was racing. Not the brightest bulb? If he wasn't shining than she would be a defect one!
"...you don't realize it, do you?" She had no words left for him. From pervert to master, from master to dumb master and now from the later to genius master. This was to much of a joke for her!
Ghel was perplexed, when his gaze saw the surroundings did his eyes slowly widen bigger and bigger. He had to open his status.
