Chapter 1: A new world, with many opportunities.

So... I died in an alleyway, and I mean I don't really care anyways since I've got nothing to live for.

But here I am, somehow still conscious, standing on… air? All that is surrounding me, are weird tree like branches, a bunch of bubbles floating around them… with what appears to be galaxies inside of them.

"Hello." Speaks out, a strange voice, practically sounding unnatural.

"Hi…?" I ask in a somewhat questioning manner, almost freaked out.

"I will be frank and quick. You get to choose two wishes and a race of your choice." Says the voice, bluntly.

"Okay… But where am I going?" I ask.

"What you would consider a fantasy world. Full of magic and mystical things, and much more." Says the Voice.

I nod understandingly and say, "Alright, then for the first wish I'd like to have a somewhat similar ability as Jihan from "The Gamer". It has functions like missions, stats, shop, and etc. But the missions are logical and very rewarding."

"That's all acceptable, I might add more things for you as an extra gift." says the Voice.

I continue by saying, "For the second wish I'd like a power that can allow me to remember, understand, comprehend, and analyze anything. For example, if I see a martial art move or a technique, I can learn it, enhance it, and make a counter measure against it if my opponent uses it... You get it?"

"That is acceptable, no need for explanations as I can already know what you want to specify." Says the Voice.

"Now choose your race, then customize your appearance, as you are being transmigrated and not reborn." says the Voice.

A large screen like window popped in front of me, showing race choice and a normal genderless body.

'Gender... definitely male.... Race?' I think to myself as another screen pops up, with different races.

Looking at all these races, I am excited yet confused.

"Why is there some which are locked?" I ask curiously.

"These are powerful races, you can't get them now, but it doesn't mean later you can't. But think before you decide to change to a powerful race later, why? Simple, races which you can choose now majority have evolution, allowing you to develop and advance them, which changes or adds things to your appearance, skills, power, knowledge, and etc. These are achieved either through extremely hard work, sheer willpower and determination or other means such as rituals. But you eventually hit a limit and evolve to another race. But if you are already a powerful race, then you can't evolve. For example, if you choose to be an Angel and later you decide to change your race to let's say an Archangel and then Divine Angel which is more powerful than a Fallen Archangel, you will not be able to evolve your race. Let's say instead you went with not choosing another race and kept the Angel race. Developing it, making it powerful, let's say you reach Fallen Archangel, here you would think you can't evolve it. No because you were an Angel who with blood and sweat reached a Fallen Archangel. Means if you take the longer path, the harder and more difficult path the more rewarding it will be." says the Voice, making me even more confused.

From what I understood is there two ways to evolve. The easy path, too a degree. Example I choose Angel, then I can with some method, unknown to me currently, evolve to a race without many hardships. The other way, the difficult path, but more rewarding, is done by developing myself, everything about me, and eventually I will evolve naturally, somehow.

I smile and say, " Well I'll just have to work crazy hard. Nevertheless, can you tell me what is stronger, Divine Angel or Demonic Angel? And what the hell is a Demonic Angel.?"

"The Demonic Angel is more powerful." says the Voice, surprising me. "A Demonic Angel has a perfectly combined bloodline of an Archdemon, Fallen Archangel, Draconic Angel and an Archangel. When Archdemons eventually reach the evolution and become Fallen Angels, they lose their demonic side and powers that come with it. Still Fallen Angels have a more of a dark side, like death magic and dark magic, they are naturally dark, but no to a degree that is similar to the Demons. The Demonic Angel combines these bloodlines perfectly, balancing themselves into a new, more powerful race, combining all of the aspects, advantages, benefits, and powers from the four races. Not many have been able to become one because it's extremely painful, tedious, and difficult." Says the Voice.

"Is it possible for me to reach it?" I say excitingly, holding on for even a shred hope.

"Yes, it is. If you choose one the three races.... and the only one that will give you the highest possibility of success, is the Demon. But even with that it's implausible. Although, if we're talking about you then yeah, you possibly will do it. With what you have wished for, it is not impossible. That is for sure." Says the Voice.

"Alright, then, what about the other races, like the Elves and Orcs?" I ask curiously.

"Their evolution is completely different to demons and angels. I would say it is impossible, but it is definitely improbable for them to evolve. Let's say an Elf becoming a High Elf. The only way is if they have a lot of ancestors who were High Elves. Same goes for the rest. It also goes the same for Demon-Kin, it is generally unlikely for them to become a Demon, without external aid. As for the Nephilim, they are a whole different story." Says the Voice.

I nod understandingly, then grin and say, "Alright... Demon it is then."

"Good, but one more thing before we continue. You will be put in a dimension, a dark one at that. There are many dimensions of the world you are going to, some are bigger than the world, some are as small as a… convenience store. So, are you certain about your choice?" says the Voice.

"It can't be that bad… right?" I ask, hopefully.

"Nothing is bad or good, it all comes down to how you choose to walk your path. The choices you make, although it won't be easy." Says the Voice.

"Well. It never is easy, never is supposed to be easy. And wouldn't that just be… boring? Also, what do I have to lose, except maybe die again." I say, laughing lightly at the last part.

Then the Voice speaks out with a boom, in an amused manner somehow, "That is the spirit. I expect nothing less from you. Now, choose your appearance."

After a while you can see a man in his thirties, a chiseled face, with a tan skin and Caucasian features. He has medium hair and medium beard, both the color of brown. His irises are fiery red, as if the fires of hell are contained within. His pupils have a slit like a dragon's eyes.

The man's body is very muscular and extremely shredded. To the point where you would think his muscles would shred themselves to pieces.

Looking over it again, seeing if I missed anything. Then I say to the Voice," I am done".

"Then off you go to a new world, full of opportunities." Says the Voice.

Then everything went dark…

[MC POV, Unknown Location]

I hear a subtle sound of water dripping and a harsh chirping of birds. I open my eyes and look around. I am in a cave, facing the exist.

"This place looks really dark…", I say to no one particularly. I stand up and stretch.

'My body feels amazing. I feel very strong. Like I have never felt before.' I think to myself.

I will for the status to appear and it pops in front of me.

Luck : 50 [Its luck… you need a definition? Alright, here it is then. Luck is the success or failure apparently brought by chance rather than through one's own actions.]

*Demonic Magic: The user is still capable of using the typical Magic used by others, but because they are a Demonic being, they are also capable of using Demonic Magic. This could range anywhere from curse magic, absorb magic, negate magic, necromancy, and a whole slope of different dark arts. The higher the level, the more the user can use different kinds of magic. The user is unable to use Holy Magic, Divine Magic, and Death Magic. Previously mentioned should be either taught or acquired.

*Mana Regeneration: Able to regenerate mana. The higher the level, the user will be able to regenerate more mana, as well as regenerating it faster.

*Demon Transformation: The user can morph into a superior and more powerful version of themselves. Their appearance and their body are completely altered. Some may gain immense speed, others strength and some may gain great magical abilities. An extremely small number gain two of the previously mentioned, or all. At higher levels, the user can definitely have two or all of the gains formerly stated.

*Demonic Presence: The user of this ability is a Demon or Demonic-like entity in nature, and with their mere presence in an area or proximity, or even around an individual can cause bizarre, strange and sinister effect as well as changes to the demon's surrounding areas, the effects and causing a variety of unusual changes is determined on the nature of the demons mood, type of demon, or even the Demon's rank/power in hell reflected outwards through its naturally produced aura. The Demon's presence can range from having powerfully negative influences on the minds/emotions of their victims, affecting the weather and dark areas around the demon, causing nightmares, sickness, destruction, death, and so much more.

*Presence Concealment: User can conceal, suppress, or otherwise prevent their power/aura from being sensed and/or recognized. This ability is a classic of Demonic beings such, many talented and high Demons have this ability. The higher the level, the more efficient they are at utilizing said ability. This skill is both active and passive. The passive uses around 10% to 30% of the power. While the active utilizes all of the potential and power of the skill.

*Adaptive Learning: The user can gather and understand any knowledge/form of knowledge and adapt the knowledge, skills, powers, talents, and etc., to suit their needs. Including learning a new talent/skill and adapting a way to use it despite being disabled/handicapped or a talent that allows one to read quickly could be changed to allow one to read quickly for several different books and subjects at the same time, and more. Rather than simply being limited to powers, user can apply this to any/all forms of knowledge/learning, including skills/talents, powers, magic, intuition, language, writing, reading, body control, etc. Users of this can learn and adapt any knowledge for their own needs and personal condition/physiology/status.

Looking at this, all I can muster to say is, "Well… damn."
