Yao Jun continued to slowly feed Guo Luo various herbs to slow down the spread of the poison. After spending nearly five hours slowly feeding her medicine and making sure that the spread of the poison had almost completely stopped, he finally heaved a sigh of relief.

He was not capable of forcing the poison out of her body, but he had at least made sure that the poison had almost stopped spreading. As it was now, it had covered her entire right arm and parts of her right chest. The poison had yet to reach any of her vital organs, allowing Yao Jun to breathe another sigh of relief.

"Don't worry Luo'er, i'll get the antidote shortly."

Yao Jun gently removed Guo Luo's head from his lap and stroked her hair a bit more. Her entire face was pale and covered in cold sweat, despite her having lost her consciousness, her eyebrows were still furrowed in pain.

After making sure that Guo Luo was temporarily safe, Yao Jun left the gate and stepped onto Little Gray's back. Yao Jun sat down on Little Gray's back, his left leg outstretched while he used his right knee to prop up his right arm.

"Full speed Little Gray. I want to be there as fast as possible."

As Yao Jun spoke, his armor and sword appeared on his body, shielding him from the whipping winds that Little Gray's full speed produced. Yao Jun's eyes were firmly locked onto the distance, locked on where Raging Snow City was.

As he sat on the back of Little Gray, he could feel the power of his gate pulsating through his body, channeling faster than it ever had before, even his armor seemed to pulsate slightly.

Yao Jun had sensed this sensation once before, back when Guo Luo had been attacked while he was unconscious. Already back then, Yao Jun had an idea about what the reason behind it could be, but now his thoughts had been confirmed.

Sword Empyrean Heng Jiang had told Yao Jun that he must never let himself be controlled by his emotions, especially rage. Back then, Yao Jun thought that this meant that he must try to restrain his anger and choke it down. But he was wrong. Others might be able to do this, but if Yao Jun did it, it would harm him.

He held the Demon God's Gate, the power of a demon god. Rage would never harm the demon god, it would only aid him, granting him the strength to destroy all that would anger him. Yao Jun must never let himself be controlled by his rage, but neither must he smother it.

He had to control his rage, instead of letting it blaze like an inferno, he had to let it freeze and turn into a glacier. Once he learnt to properly control his rage, he could use it like a weapon to strengthen himself and slay his opponents.

With these thoughts in mind, Yao Jun closed his eyes and started to calm his breathing. Even at Little Gray's full speed, it would take around two days to reach Raging Snow City. This meant that he had to take this chance to calm down and make sure that he was at his peak condition.

After a little over two days of constant flight, Yao Jun opened his eyes and gazed upon Raging Snow City. His gray eyes held not a single trace of rage, they were almost completely empty, his state of mind impossible to read from them. Looking into them was like trying to stare into the depths of a gray fog.

Raging Snow City was much larger than Winter Wind Town, but they had the same style of architecture. The entire city was currently very lively, with lit lanterns in a myriad of colors decorating every street and house.

At the very center of the city stood a massive mansion that covered a few kilometers of land. The mansion was not made out of the same wood as the rest of the city, but was built out of the same hardened blocks of snow that Snow's Heart Town was made out of.

Yao Jun could see a large courtyard located at the front of the mansion. The courtyard was filled with a large amount of tables, each table seating several people. There was one table sitting at the very front, which only had two people on it, this was clearly the table of the Raging Snow Monarch.

"Go."

Yao Jun calmly spoke a single word, and Little Gray let out a loud screech that resounded over the entire city. He shot forward, appearing above the large courtyard in only a few seconds. Upon hearing the screech, everyone in the courtyard had turned their head to the sky in curiosity.

Seeing the large gray eagle appearing above the courtyard, most of the people in the courtyard didn't have too much much of a reaction. But the people from the Raging Snow Sect reacted strongly upon seeing the gray eagle, their faces turning gloomy.

"Where is Cui Dong?"

Yao Jun had Little Gray fly closer to the ground, before he stood up and calmly looked at everyone in the courtyard. His eyes ended up turning towards a thin middle aged man with pale skin. He had long white hair and was clad in an extravagant robe that featured the insignia of the Raging Snow Sect embroidered on the entire chest.

This person was at the late stage of the 2nd Mortal Earth, so it was clear that he was Cui Bao. Standing next to him was a male who seemed to be around 30 years old. The male had short purple hair and was clad in the same robe as Cui Bao. This person was at the early stage of the 2nd Mortal Earth, so he was most likely Cui Dong.

"You must be brother Jun. Why don't you give old me some face and come down and join us in this celebration? Surely there is no need for us to be hostile just because of a single maid. If we just sit down and have a chat, I am sure that we will realize that working together is better than being enemies."

Contrary to what Yao Jun expected, Cui Bao stood up and cupped his hands toward Yao Jun, speaking in a friendly tone. While he looked friendly, Cui Bao was silently cursing the people who had failed to kill Yao Jun.

He had already gotten the news that Yao Jun and his friends had managed to kill Li Quan back on the Yang continent. Of course, they did that as a group, but Cui Bao still slightly feared Yao Jun's power, as he did not know just how strong he was.

What made Cui Bao feel like cursing even more was that not only had they failed to kill Yao Jun, they hadn't even managed to die without handing over information. Since Yao Jun came here and immediately called for Cui Dong, it was clear that he probably knew everything.

"Face? Fuck your face. And how dare you talk about my Luo'er like that?"

Yao Jun's voice turned cold upon hearing Cui Bao's words. He hopped down from the back of Little Gray, landing on a table filled with food and crushing it. He took a step closer towards Cui Bao, Little Gray circling overhead, overlooking everything with a vigilant gaze.

"While I was trapped in a darkness that your Guo clan placed me in, I saw a tiny ray of light. It was just a tiny thing, just the smallest mote of light. Yet I found that it shone ever so brightly in the darkness, capable of completely shielding me from the darkness."

"So I clung to it, I clung to it with all my might and refused to let go. And I found that no matter how drenched in the smell of blood and death I became covered in, that ray of light just started shining brighter, always at my side, always keeping the darkness at bay. You tried to remove that ray of light from my side and now you have the gall to ask me to give you face?"

Yao Jun's expression had turned ice cold as he finished his words, his killing intent almost turning tangible.
