"I tried to give you face, but it seems like you have no interest in ending this peacefully."
Cui Bao's face sank as he spoke. He was wary of Yao Jun's strength, but that did not mean that he would let Yao Jun do whatever he wished. Since he did not wish to end this peacefully, he could only resort to his other option.
"In that case, I can only kill you and present your body to the clan leader. Little Snow, kill him."
After Cui Bao spoke, the snow that covered the ground next to him rose up, forming into a humanoid shape. The humanoid snow man stood next to Cui Bao, it's head moving between Cui Bao and Yao Jun, seemingly struggling.
"What are you waiting for?! Go!"
Seeing the snow elemental they had tamed refusing to listen to his order, Cui Bao gave a loud shout and slapped the back of the snow elemental's head.
"Stay out of this. I am only interested in killing Cui Bao and Cui Dong, but I will not shy away from killing anyone who chooses to interfere."
Yao Jun swept his eyes around the entire courtyard, his voice reaching everyone's ears. It was clear that he was talking to everyone in the courtyard, not just the snow elemental.
"I'm sorry my lord. They have planted a slave seal inside me, I have to obey them."
The snow elemental let out a long sigh and gave Yao Jun a deep bow. It was a type of Demonic beast, so it could clearly sense the aura that Yao Jun released. This aura belonged to the god of demons, an existence that every Demonic beast revered and worshiped.
"I understand."
Yao Jun gave a simple nod, his eyes turning to glare at Cui Bao. Planting a slave seal inside a Demonic beast of person would force it to follow your orders, completely robbing it of it's own freedom. It would often lead to a fate worse than death.
"And all of you?"
Yao Jun turned towards the other guests in the courtyard, piercing into them with a sharp gaze. The people in the courtyard moved their eyes between him and Cui Bao, spending a short moment pondering. After thinking it over, they all chose to stand up and pull out their weapons, glaring at Yao Jun. It was clear that they intended to assist the one they thought had a higher chance of victory, Cui Bao.
"I see. Since that is the choice you have made, the price will be paid by you."
Their choice did not surprise Yao Jun. He was only at the early stage of the 2nd Mortal Earth, so he did indeed seem to be the weaker party in this fight. Understanding their choice did not mean that he would spare them.
He raised his right arm, a small black gate appearing above his palm, silently floating there. The gate opened, and three orbs of light shot out from within it, materializing next to Yao Jun.

"Didn't you all want to grow stronger? There is an excellent chance right here. Kill them all. You can eat their bodies, but I want their interspatial rings."
Yao Jun glanced at his four Demonic beasts as he spoke. Despite being absorbed by his gate, they were still Demonic beasts, so they could still strengthen themselves in the same way Demonic beasts could, eating other Demonic beasts or cultivators.
The main reason Yao Jun rarely used this method however, was because only the Demonic beast that ate the cultivator would strengthen. It was not as good as when he absorbed a Demonic beast or cultivator, as that would strengthen all his Demonic beasts.
"As you wish!"
All four Demonic beasts let out a loud roar in excitement before they started attacking the other people in the courtyard. None of these people had entered the 2nd Mortal Earth, so Yao Jun was not worried about anything happening to his Demonic beasts.
After seeing off his Demonic beasts with his eyes, he turned his eyes back to Cui Bao and Cui Dong. Despite Yao Jun spending a bit of time standing still, none of them had moved towards him or made an attack. They were still wary of his strength, so they wanted to spend this short moment coming up with a plan to fight him.
"I didn't expect you to already have several Demonic beasts. I never received word of it."
Cui Bao had an ugly smile as he spoke. He knew that Yao Jun was someone that the Guo clan wanted dead, he also knew that they wanted his body sent to them should anyone ever manage to kill him. He even knew that Yao Jun had a power based on summoning.
But the Guo clan had never been able to find out how many Demonic beasts he had, or which Demonic beasts he had. This was because whenever Yao Jun used his gate to summon his Demonic beasts, he would make sure that any enemy who saw it would die.
"If you want to beg for mercy, it is already too late. I will kill you all today."
Yao Jun tightened his grip on his sword as he started slowly stepping forward. As he stepped forward, the faint sound of roars could be heard in the surroundings, the air slightly distorting.
This was the sword intent that Yao Jun awakened thanks to Sword Empyrean Heng Jiang. Everyone had their own type of sword intent. Yun Yantian's sword intent was like the wind, which was why he could send his sword intent into the air around him and use it to create invisible swords.
But Yao Jun's sword intent was much simpler. It was like a horde of Demonic beasts that charged forward, trampling down everything in it's way and opening a path for their god. It focused solely on strength and speed.
"You want to kill us all? Just you?"
Cui Bao's mouth curled into a sneer as he and Cui Dong pulled out their weapons and prepared to fight. Cui Bao's weapon was a large mace made out of black iron, while Cui Dong used two curved daggers.
"Yes, just me."
