Luosho Li grit her teeth and let out a beastly grunt, the wound caused by the small golden dagger was for some reason far more painful than any wound she had ever gotten previously. She quickly threw herself to the left, her right arm swinging upwards and delivering a lightning-fast uppercut to Yao Jun's chin, launching him out of the shadows and into the air.
Luosho Li rolled along the ground for a bit before stabilizing herself in a crouched position, her right hand covering the wound in her torso, which was healing far slower than it usually did. She raised her head slightly and locked eyes with Yao Jun, who was currently surrounded by a light breeze that slowly brought him back down to the ground. Looking into Yao Jun's eyes, Luosho Li could see a faint gray light swim around in them, the uncomfortable feeling that all her secrets had been discovered washing over her. Yao Jun's gaze landed on the wound he had created, rubbing his aching chin while muttering softly.
"You moved the fragment, I didn't even know that something like that was possible."
Yao Jun hadn't stabbed her at random with the dagger, which contained a tooth fragment that came from a different universe's Origin Beast and was thus supposed to be able to even shatter Supreme Law fragments. The place he had stabbed was where one of her fragments had been located, but it had moved away just before the dagger could pierce it, fleeing higher up her chest. Yao Jun's own God Gate had always remained stationary right by his heart, so he hadn't expected Luosho Li's fragment to change position.
Luosho Li didn't respond to Yao Jun's mutter, her eyes narrowing slightly as she suddenly dug her own fingers into the wound on her torso, wriggling them around inside. A burning sensation appeared on Yao Jun's own torso, in the same position as the wound on Luosho Li's body, the pain getting worse as she continued to poke around inside her wound. Yao Jun's mouth twisted slightly, a low curse escaping his lips.
"Fucking reflection, of course it's able to do some stupid shit like this."
Yao Jun took a step forward, the earth beneath him exploding as he shot forward, lightning trailing in his wake and lighting even the air on fire. The fire mixed with the lightning and the surrounding wind, a crackling inferno forming behind Yao Jun, its color slowly turning a nearly pitch black. Large geysers of water suddenly burst through the ground around Luosho Li, each drop of water as heavy as a boulder and as sharp as a knife. Some of the water would freeze as it touched Luosho Li, patches of ice forming on her body and chilling her all the way down to her soul, even beginning to encroach on it.
Luosho Li quickly stood up and straightened out her body, tensing her muscles so much that the patches of ice started to crack, an icy sensation starting to invade Yao Jun's body as she reflected it back at him. She then quickly took a step back while waving her hand, several layers of invisible bubble-shaped walls surrounding Yao Jun.
She clenched her fist, black cracks spreading throughout the surrounding space as a result of the force unleashed by the clenching. The walls around Yao Jun rapidly shrank, gathering into a single orb that pressed down on him from all sides, aiming to compress him into a grape-sized piece of flesh. At the same time, several smaller walls appeared around her, plugging up the geysers. Yao Jun glanced at the walls, able to see them by looking at the energy used to create them. He tried to teleport away, but the walls around him seemed to practically separate him from the surrounding space, he was unable to even connect his senses with anything beyond the walls, he had no way of teleporting away.
Yao Jun clicked his tongue once and raised his left arm, the crackling inferno that had been compressed behind him gathering towards his palm, condensing even further and forming a black lotus. The black lotus rapidly expanded, violent waves of energy bursting forth from it and crashing into the bubble-shaped wall. Even this strong shield was unable to withstand the might of one of the three techniques that Yao Jun had come up with, Glory of the Demon God, cracks rapidly spreading across the surface of the walls.
The bubble exploded with a grating screeching sound, the earth beneath it exploding and throwing up a thick cloud of dust. Yao Jun jumped through the cloud of dust, blood from countless different wounds drenching his body. Being in such close proximity to his own attack, especially in such a confined space, he was bound to suffer quite a few injuries. But he didn't bother too much with his wounds, his gaze firmly locked on Luosho Li as he decided to test out a different way of ending the battle now that his first attempt at destroying her fragments had ended.

Luosho Li's gaze was fully focused on Yao Jun, but then she saw his fingers wriggle slightly and felt the air behind her change slightly. She quickly glanced behind her and saw that Yao Jun's blade was materializing from the drops of water that still lingered in the air after she had sealed up the geysers. There was a black light swirling around at the very tip of the sword, gathering together into a tiny dot. The mere sight of the light was enough to fill Luosho Li with a primal dread, every inch of her being screaming at her to get away from the sword.
She turned her gaze forward again, her eyes landing on the approaching and bloody Yao Jun. She only needed to think about it for half a second before stepping forward, charging directly at Yao Jun to get away from the sword while also launching a counter-attack of her own.
The two reached each other's range almost instantly, Luosho Li raising both her arms and pushing out her palms, the left one coming into contact with Yao Jun's right chest and the right one coming into contact with his abdomen. The moment her palms landed on his body, the flesh and bones in the immediate area around the palms tore itself free from his body, flying backward and leaving two palm-shaped holes in him. Yao Jun spat out a large mouthful of blood, but the corners of his lips still curled up into a bloody grin.
His left arm reached out and grabbed a hold of Luosho Li's wrist, grabbing it so tightly that the bones within her wrist shattered and nearly pulverized. And just as he grabbed onto her wrist, his sword shot forward and drew a black line through the air as it headed for Luosho Li's back. The sword reached her in less than the blink of an eye, but Luosho Li seemed to have already prepared for this.
Hundreds of thin walls stacked up behind her, each one just large enough to defend the area that the sword would hit. An invisible stream of energy also flew out from her body and coiled around the blade, some of the energy gathered in it changing direction and piercing into Yao Jun, causing him to spit out another mouthful of blood.
The sword collided with the layered shields, the black light erupting into a tiny black hole that ate away at the shields that guarded Luosho Li. A beam of black light shot out from the black hole and pierced through the shields as it headed for her, but Luosho Li smirked faintly, the shields tilting to the side and redirecting the beam of light so that it only pierced through her waist rather than her spine.
But even though she had successfully redirected the attack, she couldn't call the sensation pleasant. The black light ate away at the energy and flesh in her body, she even felt that it seemed to eat away at the laws that she was gathering within herself, even her Supreme Law fragments were being pulled at. But the black light at the tip of the sword had diminished after launching the beam, the sword dissipating in the wind, so Luosho Li felt confident that she had managed to block the attack.
But then she saw that Yao Jun's lips were still curled into that bloody and somewhat insane grin, his eyes not losing an ounce of their confidence. And that was when she saw that his right arm was already stretching out, his index finger already touching the side of her skull. His finger broke when it crashed into her hard skull, but it still pierced through her skin and bone, the tip of his finger actually making contact with her brain.
Luosho Li's eyes shot open in abject horror as she did her best to move her Qi, but with the black light still eating away at her energy, she ended up gathering her Qi too slowly. Yao Jun maneuvered his law of space and flooded Luosho Li's brain with it, a fist-sized chunk of it suddenly vanishing and appearing a few meters to the side, dropping to the ground with a fleshy thud.
Luosho Li's eyes turned blank and hollow as part of her brain was forcefully removed, her body turning limp and collapsing to the ground like a sack of potatoes. Blood leaked out of her nose and ears, the symbol on her palm releasing a resplendent light as all the points she had been carrying were transferred over to Yao Jun, whose name was now doomed to once again resound throughout the universe.
