Arc 1: After Earth Fell
Flames roared ever so high, the lava pools bubbled and the Devil himself sat on the throne of Hell. The devil… is not a being who would have a definite shape. Rather, he is ever-changing… a concept, a thought, a supernatural existence.
Silky black hair combed upwards to the shape of two horns, wearing a gentleman’s coat and carrying nothing but a mere cane was the Devil. He was skinny in these times because, like never before, he was in mourning.
Lucifer, the Devil, Hades… etc, sat on his throne with an arm against his cheek, gazing at the gigantic globe in front of him, which was an exact replica of Earth itself. “Ha… so, Earth is coming to an end, huh? To be completely honest with you, I did not believe that it would come to an end this soon… These humans are truly foolish.”
Sprawled on the floor at his feet was his hound, three-headed, the Cereberus. However, Cerb did not guard the doorways to Hell. Today, the beings they were punishing were finally ceasing to exist.
“Answer me, Cerb!” Lucifer cried out of nowhere, gazing at the dog. “Am I untrue?”
Awoo! The dog barked at this cynically, as if saying ‘Yes.’
“Hmmm? Well well… I have grown weak, haven’t I?” The Devil asked, standing up from his throne. The dog mourned with a squeal in response to its master as its ears dropped.
Now, a beard that was not in place before had grown, and his cheeks and eyes were slightly swollen. “Aye aye aye… I did love humans indeed,” he spoke to himself, strolling out of his throne room into the front halls of his palace.
From the utter darkness of his throne room, Lucifer set foot into the greatly lit halls of his palace. There was an ongoing celebration of the demons, a great ball set to celebrate the downfall of humanity and everything ever so unholy was happening.
His wives Lilith and Persephone were kissing each other in front of an audience of twisted demon lords, peering their eyes at this image. It was most unlikely to see the likes of it, even the Devil himself was surprised. They were both drunk on occasion. Of course… how could they not celebrate the downfall of humanity? (Even though they did drink the ale out of sorrow, the ale of Hell was strong enough to make them go utterly crazy.)
Even when the king strolled through the hallways, he went almost entirely unnoticed. None of the drunk eyes turned to the old skinny bloke limping across the ballroom with a stick in his hand and an unfed dog dragging at his feet. However, the eyes which were looking for the Devil, in particular, managed to grab a whiff of this and sneakily followed him.
One of these pairs belonged to a woman dressed in a silky black dress, most vulgarly.
“And so – the great Jordan Kruger, the man who led the war in America shot himself in the head. What a fool. I only had to convince him with three words, I loved you. Truly weak beings,” the demon Penumbra was telling a tale from her visit to America moments before the country fell. A group of demonesses was listening to this conversation in awe.
“If you’ll excuse me,” the woman in the silky black dress announced, shifting into her true form; a tiny vampire bat.
The demonesses shifted their heads at the vampire bat and murmured; “What in the devil is the Vampire Queen up to?”
The sneaky little bat landed gently on the old bloke’s shoulder, and the Devil walked onwards to the balcony, unhinged by this.
“Oh… Vanessa, why the devil are you here?”

The bat fluttered her wings and stepped closer to the devil’s ear, whispering in the most vulgar way possible; “To seek an audience with Messire.”
“Ah, little bat, how pleasant of you. And… why may that be?” The devil’s presence grew stronger, and the bat’s voice broke into a stutter. “I – I… I wanted to suggest to you milord… that… it would be a great pleasure if we rule the council of the Supernatural. Together –”
“Ah, I will… try.”
“What – Messire? I – I am humbled,” the Vampire Queen gently bowed to Satan's head, resting on his shoulder. Vanessa was amazed, for her great lord had agreed without a word of consent. Something was indeed, incredibly wrong.
And just as Lucifer Morningstar made his exit to the balcony, on came another fat demon chasing the old skinny limper. “Lord! Messire!” he cried out.
Hades shifted his head, along with Vanessa’s huge ears.
Behind him, a grand old demon, fat as the boiling cauldrons stood. He was gently dressed, rather stylish, and on his head rested a golf cap. He panted, breathless from his short run of the week. “Messire… please… do not fall into her trap. You know yourself. Do not act without reason, deceived by a beauty that someday would crumble apart –”
“How dare you!?” the bat cried out, flew off the Devil’s shoulder, and shifted back to her most human self. “I am an eternal beauty, unlike your old crone of a wife!”
“You!?”
RWAR! Cerb barked out of nowhere, silencing both of the demons. The devil gently patted Cerberus’s head.
“If you wanted to suggest something to me too, Vasiliz, I suggest you spill it out without bloating me halfheartedly,” Hades spat out.
“Sir… I, first, thank you, Messire. But this is such news, you would hardly believe it.”
“Messire already said it, you cunt! Spill the fucking thing out!” The Vampire Queen cried out furiously. Vasiliz, one of the great lords of Hell gritted through his teeth but minded his manners in front of his king.
“I bring you news of a great throne, Milord. A new throne, all-powerful… even greater… than yours. I found this news from a star-crossed traveller, an old friend of mine. She speaks no lies, only the truth. Thus, I had to believe it. In this galaxy, they are forming a throne, Milord. Humans could not even think to stand against these odds, hence why fate decided ill of them. This throne… It is what could make you the true king. So I suggest you look into the matter,” the humble general bowed to his lord, smiling viciously at the Vampire Queen.
Even though Vanessa was indeed outraged by the allegations of Vasiliz, she still raised her eyebrow at his suggested plan. She was too, interested.
“The King of the Galaxy… so you say, Vasiliz,” the Devil gazed at the two of his generals for a second and it drew a smile on the old bloke’s face. Vanessa and Vasiliz smiled, after seeing their sire’s eyes lit up with flames of hunger.
“Hm… I have to think about this! Leave me at once!”
