The Queen of Vampires and Vasiliz left the balcony, giving their king some time alone. The skinny ancient being stood at the edge, gazing down at his lifelong friend… the Hell itself.

Just below his great palace, there were spikes larger than mountains, piercing through the rocky ground. Lava poured out from the very bottom of Hell and in the distance, many of the volcanoes erupted. As Earth was seizing to exist, so was Hell for humanity.

Lucifer saw a disgusting demon dragging a poor human soul along the floor, and surprisingly, the convict was cackling wildly. “Hahaha! Fool… I knew it… I knew I was going to see you suffer,” the naked human cried out.

Lucifer peered at this from the height of the balcony, seemingly interested.

It was a great beast with two crooked horns, a skinny body, and a large club on his left. “I – I will not die here…” it stuttered. The human laughed outright. “FOOL! Do you not see it…? He has abandoned you all…” The human said. “Either we die, or we escape… Or, at least get revenge from the Devil for giving us this hateful death.”

The demon looked at the human woman, who had an awfully wounded back from the thousand-year-long dragging she was given as punishment. Her back was awful, but her face was not.

“What have you in mind, human?” the demon asked.

From his balcony, the Devil cleared his throat, thunder roared above the skies of Hell.

Instantly, the two heads turned around and saw Satan’s shadow, high above on the highest balcony of the House of Hades. The two eyes glinted upon seeing the silhouette of the Devil himself. Two red eyes sparked, wings folded in their place, and under his arm was most likely a sword.

“Wha – Master! Master! Please… I beg of you!” The demon cried out from the pit, tightening the grip of the leg it was holding in its right. “ARGHH!” the woman cried out in pain.

“I will punish this human for you!” The demon raised the naked woman and threw her into the lava which was flowing toward them. The woman screamed in agony as she melted away. Finally, her soul too was vanquished.

This drew a smile on the Devil’s face. Yet, not a very thoughtful one. “Demon…” Satan whispered, but it echoed inside the demon’s mind. “You must know this – I am the owner of this domain. No one can stand above me, or even think of it…”

“But – But… Please, I beg of you, Sire!”

“Please, Hell… no more of this rat!” The old crone snapped and swished his hand as if he was giving a command.

“AS YOU WISH!” The Earth itself spoke, and the lava poured in from every direction, burning the pitiful sight of the demon whole.

The Devil smiled. “Thank you, dear friend.”

Suddenly, it started raining, cooling off the lava under the palace.

Then, from the distant clouds in the sky, a massive face formed. “I greet you, Milord,” the giant face of clouds roared.

“Hmm… I haven’t stepped out of this shithole of a palace in centuries… So, have you heard my conversation with Vasiliz? What do you think of this… ugh… Space throne?”

Right at this moment, the disco at the party on the topmost floor started. The Whisperer, guardian of the Sound had dropped in the beats and even the thundering skies were losing to the disco.

The face in the clouds thought for a moment. “The Space throne, so you say… I have no problem, Messire. I can turn this into a space crossing ship… I have heard of sentient boats that sail the sea of the distant stars Milord, and trust me, none as loyal as I am to you.”

The Devil smirked. “I see; I see…”

“So, in that case, we might as well leave this no-fun shithole and sail across the trillion stars,” The Devil called out. “I am growing weak… Hell. My power is ceasing to exist, and if I do not find more damned souls to feed upon, I may as well forget about existing.”

The face in the clouds raised an eyebrow at this. “Oh… is that so?”

The Devil furrowed his brows. “And! I am only telling you this because you are to be trusted… and if I cease to exist, you can forget about existence too.”

“I understand, and I am honored,” Hell, the face in the clouds added.

“Good… then, by the coming sunrise, let us venture off from this damned planet. After all, there are not many souls for any of us to feed upon. And… do not tell my wives that I do not trust them,” Lucifer sounded almost as if he was begging in that last sentence.

“Ah, my lips are sealed, Messire.”

WOOF! Cerberus barked out. The old crumbled down Lucifer and Hell itself stared down at the three-headed dog. Then, the Lord of Hell and itself stared at each other.

“Oh no no… He’s my best friend, he would never,” the Devil caressed the middle head of Cerberus mumbling, “Would you dare, my little three-headed poodle!”

The dog barked away happily, literally shifting into a small poodle barely able to reach the Devil’s knees even when it stood up.

The face in the cloud stared at this, quite shocked.

“Hmm… great,” Lucifer cleared his throat and gazed up at the distant sky once more. Rain was pouring down on him, though, not a hair on his head was soaked. “So, Hell… do we have a deal?”

“Of course, my lord. You are my creator after all, what am I without you?” The skies roared.

The Lord of Hell smiled and nodded. “You are of great service, my lifelong friend… Get ready. Remember, first light tomorrow… And, do show me the new design of our great ship. I am excited to see the new Underworld.”

The head nodded. “My honor, Messire. And now… I shall take my leave,” the skies thundered, red light flashed in the damned skies. The clouds deformed once again, and the thundering rain slowly began to shift into a rather peaceful form.

As the clouds deformed, a clear sky formed in the distance where storm clouds did not ponder about. And within it, a sea of stars glinted. “The Conqueror of the Celestials… has a nice ring to it, doesn’t it Cerberus?”

The dog shifted back to its original form as it shook off the water and dried off its fur. After a bark of agreement from his most humble friend, the Devil strolled back into the ballroom.
