'According to my knowledge, the city is located between Latchgar Mountain and Esterdon Forest. It is usually only adventurers who travel to the forest to undertake guild missions. Normal people wouldn't ever think of traveling there because it's too dangerous. There are large walls surrounding the city made of a material I have no idea what it's called. Additionally, the city is the safest place in the kingdom, since there are many guards patrolling not only the walls but also the streets. I'm not sure how many people live here, but I'd guess it's over a million. Also, the city is famous for its auction house' I thought

During our journey in the carriage, I looked out the window beside my seat. A lot of people could be seen, some of whom even had beast-like features. They had odd ears, tales, and even scales. Some of the people even carried weapons!

'Isn't it against the law to carry weapons in public?' I thought.

"Why are people carrying weapons in the city? Aren't they prohibited?" I asked my mother.

"No, dear. Every person is allowed to carry a weapon as long as they don't cause trouble. If they do, they will be detained and their weapons will be confiscated." She explained.

In response, I nodded. Because there was something else on my mind.

'Now I can carry cool weapons around with me, I'll look like a badass and I'll be able to flirt with anyone!' I thought as I listed down the flirting lines I could use.

But my mind was quickly cut off by the pain in my butt! The road was so bumpy that I could not sit still. The road was constructed of large stones, a mixture of road material, and a layer of gravel. Now I really miss the roads in my previous world, not only that but the cars as well. Having to ride in the carriage is such a pain in the ass!

Despite the cushions in the carriage, it doesn't make a difference. Are the cushions made from such cheap materials? My cheeks would probably be enormous if I stood right now. It's a fortunate thing only my mother is in the carriage with me, or I would've died from humiliation!

Returning my eyes to the outside, I could see a variety of stalls selling food or souvenirs. In addition to the stalls, there were also different stores, restaurants, taverns, and weapon shops.

'It would be nice to see these weapon shops. Just imagining all the weapons I could buy-..' My thoughts were interrupted by the building that attracted my attention.

It was a five-story building with a big logo above the entrance. The logo featured a shield enclosing a sword and a bow. There was nothing particularly eye-catching about it. Nevertheless, I was almost blinded when I saw it. It reflected the light of the sun so much that you would think it was the sun itself, due to the materials it was made of. The building itself was massive in comparison with nearby buildings.

''Mother, do you have any idea what this building is for?'' I inquired curiously.

"This building is the adventurers' hall, where anyone can register to become an adventurer. To do so, they must pass tests that determine their rank. Once you have registered as an adventurer, you can search for and join guilds, or you can create your own. As you grow up, you will have the opportunity to learn more about it.'' She replied.

'For now, this information is sufficient.' I thought, before focusing my eyes on the gorgeous view outside.

There were many different types of buildings in the city that drew my attention, but nothing remarkable. I was getting so tired that I nearly fell asleep, but my mother's voice saved me.

"Sweetheart, we've arrived" she announced.

Looking outside, I saw the most boring thing in the universe... it was a clothing store! Who in their right mind would want to visit such a boring place! When I saw it was a clothing store, I thought of running away, but my mother's voice stopped me.

''Don't you feel excited, dear? After all, you will be able to get all the clothes you want! You always complain about the dresses I buy for you. Since I am an excellent mother, I have brought you here so you can choose what you like!" She said as she thought 'I will finally be able to try dresses on my baby!' which was clearly written on her face.

My first impression of the store upon exiting the carriage was that it looked like it was made of gold.

'Who the fuck builds a store made of gold??' I thought.

You could see beautiful clothes displayed in large glass windows on both sides of the entrance. On our walk toward the entrance of the shop, we were approached by a woman in her thirties. The woman had glowing blond hair. It was only slightly shorter than my mother's. Another distinguishing feature of her was her green eyes. In addition, she was a bit taller than my mother.

''I am glad to see you again, Arie'' She said to my mother with a beam of excitement in her eyes.

''Hey, Elli! This is my daughter. Let me introduce you.'' My mother said, turning to me.

''This is the owner of this store. Her name is Elaine,'' she said to me and turned her head towards the woman. ''And this is my daughter, her name is-...' My mother's speech was cut short when Elaine flew toward me and started pinching my cheeks.

''You're so cute! Hello young lady, what's your name?'' She asked me.
