When Shen Yixao finished his scene, the assistant hurried forward, ready to drape a blanket over him.

Shen Jiangling took the blanket and curved his lips, “Let me.”

The assistant didn’t argue with him.

As a result, as soon as Shen Yixiao lowered his head, he met the smiling eyes of his younger brother.

In the last second, he still had a blank face that made it difficult for others to approach, but in the next second, it was as if the first flowers of spring had bloomed and the snow and ice had melted. The smile nearly reached his ears.

Looking a little silly.

Shen Yixiao hugged Shen Jiangling in one move, his tone full of joy, “Xiao Ling, why are you here?”

“I heard Brother Li say that you haven’t had dinner yet, so I brought you some snacks.” Shen Jiangling was infected by Shen Yixiao’s mood, his face also full of smiles.

“Our family’s Xiao Ling is so considerate!” Shen Yixiao was moved beyond words.

When Shen Yixiao walked over to the heater and saw the large snow wolf covered in a blanket, he let out a “whoa.”

He had seen the snow wolf before and knew it was massive, but a screen had separated them.

Now that he saw the deity itself, he was still surprised by the size of the snow wolf.

“Xiao Ling, this is the dog that you picked up?” Shen Yixiao’s scalp felt a little numb.

“Yes!” Shen Jiangling nodded frantically like a chicken pecking at rice, “How about it, Second Brother, isn’t Xiaosi handsome!”

“It’s quite handsome, but be careful and don’t get bitten by it.” Shen Yixiao couldn’t help but warn.

“……” Shen Jiangling was a little helpless. Why did everyone in this family say this? Xiaosi was obviously so obedient.

However, the snow wolf’s size was truly large, and his family was warning him for his own good, so he nodded, “Second Brother, don’t worry, Xiaosi will never hurt me!”

“It’s good as long as you’re aware.” Shen Yixiao wanted Shen Jianglng to sit on the chair near the heater, but Shen Jiangling pressed him down instead.

The curvature of his mouth rose again, and he accepted Shen Jiangling’s consideration.

“Right, Second Brother, how long will it be till you get off work?” Shen Jiangling tilted his head and asked.

“There’s still one more scene. If you’re tired, go back first.” Shen Yixiao ate the bread that Shen Jiangling brought him and took a sip of the hot milk tea, his heart warm.

“It’s okay, I’m not tired.” Shen Jiangling rested his chin in his hands and watched Shen Yixiao eat.

“Why are you watching me?” Shen Yixiao tapped the tip of his nose and couldn’t help laughing.

“Second Brother looks so handsome dressed like this!” Shen said with a grin.

“If you like it, I’ll get you a set of the clothes to play with.” Shen Yixiao said without even thinking about it.

“Forget it, it’s not common attire and can only be worn at home for fun, it’d be a waste.” Shen Jiangling shook his head. He didn’t care for extravagance and waste.

If the hotel weren’t their family’s and therefore didn’t cost any money, he definitely would’ve lived in an average room.

“How is it a waste? Other familys’ children collect shoes and cars, but you’ll only be wearing a set of clothes.” The more Shen Yixiao thought about it, the more he felt that Shen Jiangling was wronged, and the pity in his eyes increased.

When the snow wolf heard this, it nodded its head in agreement.

Compared to those rich and hedonistic boys, Shen Jiangling’s daily life was indeed not like those of a child from a wealthy family. After he had recovered from his illness, he mostly stayed at home. Besides going out to walk the dog and run every day, and taking the occasional shopping trip, he was always at home.

His biggest expense was probably just food.

The snow wolf thought about it and realized that Shen Jiangling had no other interests besides its furry self and food.

It dug at the floor and decided that after it took back the family power, it would recruit some well-known chefs and send them to Shen Jiangling.

But how to leave was still a problem.

It was definitely impossible to leave without a goodbye.

Change into a person?

It would be bad if he scared Shen Jiangling.

Leave a letter?

But what kind of dog can write?

The snow wolf was endlessly worried.

When they left, it had begun snowing outside. Shen Jiangling looked at the snow wolf’s paws and frowned.

“What’s wrong?” Shen Yixiao noticed his expression and asked.

“It’s getting colder and colder, will Xiaosi get frostbite from walking on the ground with his bare feet?”

When the snow wolf heard this, its ears twitched.

Did the little idiot really treat it as if it was made of glass?

Shattering at the slightest touch?

But the feeling of being cared for was too lovely. The pointed ears faintly trembled, and the large and fluffy tail of the snow wolf swung a graceful arc in the air.

“Don’t worry, it’s not as delicate as you think. Didn’t it live like this when it had no one to take care of it before?” Shen Yixiao didn’t know whether to laugh or cry.

He said as he raised his hands and arranged Shen Jiangling’s clothes to prevent the wind from entering.

“Before was before, now is now.” Shen Jiangling took out his phone, searched it up, and discovered that dog paws could freeze to frostbite in winter. And unlike cats, who did not like to be restricted, dogs could wear clothes and shoes.

Shen Jiangling was instantly distressed and looked at the snow wolf with eyes full of guilt. He decided that when they returned, he would take the snow wolf’s measurements and buy some simple clothes and shoes for it.

If the snow wolf was unwilling to wear it, then forget it. He will try to avoid walking around areas with water and snow in the future.

When Shen Yixiao saw how Shen Jiangling took care of the snow wolf so meticulously, he felt somewhat jealous and couldn’t help but accuse, “Xiao Ling, you treat the dog better than you do me!”

“Ah? Really?” Shen Jiangling was bewildered.

“Really!” Shen Yixiao said ultra loudly.

“……” Shen Jiangling thought about it for a moment and realized it was true.

But…….how can a normal person be compared to a dog?

Isn’t Shen Yixiao being a little too childish?

“That, Second Brother, you are a big living person, aren’t you able to buy anything you want yourself? Xiaosi only has me, so shouldn’t I care for him a little more?” Shen Jiangling rubbed his nose and said.

“……Xiao Ling, why do your words sound a little scummy?” The corner of Shen Yixiao’s mouth twitched.

It was like a scumbag that protected their white lotus and said to the girlfriend, “You can still live well without me, but she can’t survive without me!”

After a long time, Shen Jiangling laughed, “Second Brother, your brain circuit is……”

Too awesome!

“Okay, I won’t tease you anymore. If you like raising it, then raise it. I’m usually very busy and can’t take care of you, so it’s good that it can keep you company.” Shen Yixiao rubbed Shen Jiangling’s little head and said with a smile.

“En.” Shen Jiangling nodded, shuffled to Shen Yixiao’s side, and attentively squeezed his shoulders, “Second Brother, you’ve worked hard today. I’ll give you a massage, so you can have a good night’s sleep when we get back.”

“Okay.”

Back at the hotel, Shen Yixiao wanted to accompany Shen Jiangling to chat, but it was almost midnight, and he still had to get up early to film tomorrow. Shen Jiangling pushed him back to his room and wanted him to wash up and go to sleep quickly. Then, he returned and helped the snow wolf wash first.

Dogs and cats, they all have their pros and cons.

Dogs are obedient. They never resist taking a bath, clipping nails, wearing clothes, etc. But cats were different. Every bath was like fighting a war, and after it was over, there would be hands and arms full of scratches.

But dogs ate more and needed to be walked every day. The sound of their barking can also be heard throughout an entire community when they tried, and some dogs even liked to tear down their own homes, their destructive power especially great.

Cats were a lot more worry-free in this regard.

When Shen Jiangling saw the water-soaked dog, he couldn’t help laughing.

The snow wolf glanced at him and said nothing.

“Our family’s Xiaosi is so much more obedient than other dogs. You don’t bark at random, don’t tear down the house, and don’t make a fuss when bathing.” Shen Jiangling placed its paws on his knees and squeezed a little bit of dog shampoo on it.

Shen Jiangling suddenly laughed when he saw the pink dog shampoo.

Last time, when the shower head in his eldest brother’s room was malfunctioning, he came to his room to wash and accidentally rubbed the dog shampoo used by the snow wolf onto his own head as shampoo. After showering and blow-drying, his hair had become extra fluffy like a blooming dandelion.

Shen Jiangling smelled the scent and felt it was familiar.

He didn’t recall it at first, but when he buried his head in the snow wolf’s soft and fluffy fur——

The snow wolf saw the way Shen Jiangling was smiling to himself, and the corner of its mouth twitched.

It was unknown what was in the little idiot’s head. He was stupidly happy all day long, resembling the foolish son of a landlord’s family to the extreme.

But……it was pretty cute.

With his one smile, it couldn’t help but smile along as well.

Was stupidity contagious?

After rubbing the dog shampoo on and rinsing it off with the shower head, Shen Jiangling stood up, beat his sore arms and numb legs with his fist, and then left to get a bath towel.

The snow wolf gave him one glance, then took a few steps into the corner and shook its fur frantically. In an instant, water splashed everywhere in the bathroom.

When Shen Jiangling returned, the water on the fur was almost gone. He bent his lips, briefly wiped the snow wolf with the bath towel, then dried its fur with a hairdryer.

As he watched the wet fur become fluffy and soft in his hands, Shen Jiangling felt a sense of accomplishment in his heart.

When it was blown pretty much dried, he buried his face in the snow wolf’s back and took a deep breath, “Xiaosi, you smelled so good ah!”

The snow wolf turned its head and looked at Shen Jiangling, who wished for nothing more than to roll on its back, and felt even more worried.

If it was gone, how was the little idiot going to live his life ah.

On this side, Shen Jiangling and the snow wolf were sweet and lovey-dovey; on the other side, Leng Sihan’s face sunk.

After he finished work today, he went to the Shen house as usual to find Shen Jiangling but learned that the other party had gone abroad to play and the return date was uncertain.

No matter how arrogant Leng Sihan was, he could see that Shen Jiangling had thoroughly given up on him and was not playing hard to get.

He was both frightened and irritated, and even when facing Bai Lianhua, he didn’t look good.

Leng Sihan was precisely such a person. He was selfish, disregarded others, and only saw himself as important.

In the original plot, he didn’t have to worry about the company because as long as he frowned the slightest bit, the original owner couldn’t wait to run home and beg his family to help. As a result, he had a lot of time to leisurely play love games with Bai Lianhua.

Later, when Bai Lianhua returned, he had also first annexed the Shen Group before getting together with Bai Lianhua.

At the time, the original was worried that if the family knew about the affair, they would force them to separate, so he firmly covered up the matter.

So even if the family heard some rumors, the original owner would naturally dispel his family’s suspicion without him needing to do anything.

Therefore, Bai Lianhua did not cause any loss for him (Leng Sihan).

But now, because of Bai Lianhua, he had lost a strong backer, and his position in the company was at stake, so Leng Sihan’s mood was not so wonderful.

Bai Lianhia came out with a bowl of boiled soup, and when he saw Leng Sihan’s expression, his heart skipped a beat.

The fingertips holding the bowl whitened faintly, and his face looked pale under the light, but when Leng Sihan looked over, he showed a soft smile, “Sihan, you’ve been so busy these days, I specially made some soup for you. Would you like to give it a try?”

Leng Sihan didn’t utter a word and closely examined Bai Lianhua with his eyes as he sized him up. The air felt somewhat stagnant, “Lianhua——”

“Sihan, I’m sorry, it’s me that’s dragged you down. Seeing you so busy these days makes my heart feel very uncomfortable. Don’t worry, once Young Master Shen comes back, I will apologize to him and tell him that it was all my fault, that I shamelessly seduced you, and it had nothing to do with you!” Bai Lianhua took the initiative and struck first, blocking Leng Sihan’s mouth.

“Sihan, you must take care of yourself when I’m gone. Don’t forget to eat when you’re busy and don’t drink too much alcohol……”

“Ah, I’m sorry, I’m chattering too much, don’t find me annoying.”

“I’ll go pack up right now and leave immediately. I won’t disturb your life in the future!” Bai Lianhua set down the bowl and raised his hand to wipe his eyes, looking especially pitiful.

Leng Sihan’s bad mood completely dissipated under Bai Lianhua’s tears. He grabbed Bai Lianhua in one move and angrily said, “Who allowed you to leave without my permission!”

“But I can’t continue to implicate you. If you can’t be together with Young Master Shen, then not only will the shareholders secretly try to create obstacles for you, but even Young Master Shen’s family will not let you have a good time!” Bai Lianhia forcefully broke free of his hold but was pulled back into his arms by the red-eyed Leng Sihan.

“Heh, am I such a useless waste in your heart?” Leng Sihan lifted his chin and kissed hard, “Bai Lianhua, just obediently stay by my side. You’re not allowed to go anywhere!”

“I want you to take a good look at how I will defeat those people and make them kneel on the ground and beg for mercy!”

“But——” Bai Lianhua looked at Leng Sihan with worry.

“Don’t worry, if I can’t even protect you, then what kind of man would I be?” Leng Sihan pressed his head onto his chest and said with a domineering tone.

When he heard this, Bai Lianhua’s mouth slowly rose.
